They keep sending out a very aggressive young man on a Segway he comes by multiple times in a week. He ignores the no solicitation sign and comes on our property. Ive already told them several times we dont want their business and to not come by again, and they keep coming. Many other. neighbors have the same issue and more. I dont want them showing up again? Ecoshield would not terminate the contract at anytime as originally promised by the sales person. Service was absolutely terrible and company offered several discounts due to terrible outcome. Faith from the ******************** offered the discount but corporate wont acknowledge and sent us to collections. We have been trying to resolve this for over a month with no success.Business Response

Sales person (named Sang) showed up at my door step. After some discussion he agreed to include ALL services the company provides for the price of $209 every 3 months but only if I sign a 3 year contract. They have 100% guarantee, but they will never return your money if you're not satisfied. Their guarantee means after you're charged at least 3 times, the 4th MAY be free. They will also come in between to redo whatever you're not happy with. Their products are totally ineffective, they only thing of value was the de-webbing around the house. They only provided half of what was promised on during the first session, and completed it during the 2nd session and charged me for 2 full sessions. Their customer service people are either required to be obtuse or are trained to frustrate anyone calling with a complaint. I disputed the charges with my credit card company and asked them to stop the service (as Sang had told me that I can stop the service at any time). That turns out to be true, but they will charge you $250 early termination fee.All in all, a super expensive way to de-web your house. Just get a handy man or a student looking for work and steer clear from this scam. With my credit card representative online, they only agreed to reduce the price to $160/visit and reduce the term to 24 months. I don't usually right reviews, and I'm sure you know that there is a good reason for me to take the time to write this review, i.e. total dissatisfaction from this so called business, and to ensure no one else gets snared by their army of sales people. Also, turns out that I do not have all the services. When I asked for their mosquito spray, I was told that there is an additional charge and they referred me to their sales department.Business Response

I'm 72 and a Ecoshield salesperson walked up to me when I was outside cleaning my yard. She was pleasant and I told her I did not need the service. She kept pestering me as I worked and I finally gave in and said ok,I'll take one treatment, but then can I cancel? She said sure, just call before we do another treatment to let us know...So I signed an Iphone provided agreement (too small to read), she thanked me and was gone. Ecoshield immediately came out and did the treatment. Less than a month later, they send me a message saying we are coming for another treatment. I called and kept it simple stating, 'cancel my service' and hung up. Now I have a $250 early cancellation fee being shoved down my throat.I paid the original $180 treatment fee as agreed, and was led to believe I could cancel after the first treatment. Is there anything anyone can do to assist me...I've been hijacked while cleaning my yard!!! I do not want to nor believe I should have to pay a $250 cancellation when I didnt want the service and was originally provided with a false narrative of Ecoshield's cancellation policy...this can be proved because if I had been provided with the honest cancellation policy terms, I would have said, 'I do not want your service'. On April 29, 2025 a representative of Ecoshield Pest Solutions Detroit, LLC came on my property, uninvited, and tried to sell me services to treat my property for a variety of pests. I was having a little problem with wasps and hornets so I asked what it would cost to spray for them. When he explained the costs I told him that I lived on a fixed income and was unable to afford it. He said that I could get just one treatment and he would reduce the price for that one treatment from $250 to $169 and I agreed to that. On April ******* the amount of $169 was deducted from my credit card account. This ended our agreement.On May 27th I received notification from Ecoshield that they would be coming out on May 30th to spray again as their next treatment in a one year contract.I immediately sent them an email to cancel that service call as well as any future ones they were planning to make. On the 30th of May they responded with a bill of $250 as an "early termination fee".When I met with Ecoshield's representative on April 29th I was extremely clear that I could not afford more than a one time only service. As I indicated to him at that time, I could not even afford that one service. He said he could lower the price to $169 so I signed to authorize THIS ONE CHARGE on my credit card. Even this was a stretch for me as I am a retired veteran, soon to be 79 years of age, and living on a fixed income.I would like EcoShield to stop billing me for the $250 Early Termination, cancel this erroneous charge and send me a notice when this is accomplished. I have emailed this information to EcoShield Pest Solutions Detroit, LLC but, to date, they have done nothing to address this issue.Business Response

Ecoshield did not provide the service I requested.. I feel deceived that they did not address my bug infestation. I tried to cancel on Dec. 3, 2024 as service was not addressing concern of tree infestation. They are trying to charge me a $300 cancellation fee.Business Response

We do not treat trees for pests nor can we guarantee that you won't have pests on the exterior of your home, as that is where they live. Salesman mislead me to belive the service would be more extensive than it was. The first ****** who came out was supposed to take 2 or more hours to complete application and inspection, they took less than 1 hour. ******** also told me I could cancel with no obligation if I decided it wasn't worth it to me. After two applications I attempted to cancel and sales ****** refused to cancel my service until after I hung up on them and messaged them to cancel my account. They then charged me a $200.00 cancelation fee I want the charge removed from my account, my account closed an never to be contacted by this company againBusiness Response

Last year an ecoshield door-to-door salesperson came to my house. He allegedly found indications of some ********* ant activity and we discussed it. I showed him some scale insects that I was concerned about on one of my bushes. He was "pretty sure" that the treatment would work on them as well. He gave me a one-year deal. Fast forward to today and I have a scale insect infestation. I have now called an arborist. I remembered that I needed to call to cancel or they would continue coming past the initial year. I called to cancel the service going forward. Apparently, I still have one application remaining on the initial year. I explained that I agreed to try the company to help with the scale insect problem and that the product was not working. I was offered a convoluted discount to keep the appointment or I would be charged a higher cancellation fee. I was told that I would then have to call back again to cancel after that. This wastes my time and theirs and is incredibly manipulative. Their product was not effective for what the salesperson said that it would be effective for and now they are trying to trick me into continuing with them.Business Response

Hello. I am requesting an immediate cancellation of our contract. I have two sessions remaining. The product and customer service have been unsatisfactory, to say the least. 1. We were sold into this product by a salesman door hopping. The fine print was NOT DISCLOSED to us that we were signing on for 5 sessions minimum. 2. Your team failed to disclose that you dont offer weekend and evening hours. 3. We had to wait 4 DAYS for services to a wasp nest near our front door.4. Due to unreasonable work hours, we needed to reschedule Indoor spray and it took 2 MONTHS.5. Your product DOES NOT work for us.
