      2 years after ordering windows and over 18 months installed we still don't have the defective windows replaced or the flexible screen for the dining room. Everytime there is an appointment to wrap up the job it is canceled due to the replacement being defective and discovered before coming or installed defective. In the last four days multiple calls have been placed trying to get the job finished and messages that *** ****** would get back to us and nobody does. We are still needing two half moon windows replaced in the living room, a laundry room window replaced and a flexible screen for the large dining room window. We have been making payments since April 2023 and the project is still not completed. We have had to take numerous days off work to just have to do it again. We are asking for a 25 percent refund as we are closing in on 2 years of waiting and these are expensive windows in addition to the project being completed.

      Hansons management has visited and inspected and as you are aware parts are ordered .Regarding the arch windows the specs are industry standards and a matter of exterior trim being "DISPLACED" which was unusual Hansons would address but service has  refused ,This may cause the warranty to be voided.

      As far as the history and any warranty issues we are sorry but no compensation is forthcoming .

      Hansons stands by it warranty and is ready willing and able to address any covered  issues  .

      It's been over 12 months and Hansons' window project at our house is still incomplete. We asked them to replace 6 windows, and the physical project started Oct 2023. Working with them has been one of the worst and most expensive experiences to date! After more than 10 visits to re-do, repair their work and/or replace parts...and after chasing them immeasurable times via phone and email, we're now down to one window still not locking. Tech **** lied to his manager that the work was done during this latest visit to our home 10/22/24. After working at our home for about 3 hours, he angrily pushed his way in front of us which forced one of us into a closed in area by the window only to see that the window truly still did NOT lock. He further acted in hostility toward us by raising his voice about the number of times he's been to our house and the drive he had on his return home, although the windows not working have nothing to do with us as a customer AND we're the ones who have had to take time off work to accommodate their long visits times over the past 12 months. He snarkily said that the **** would have to be replaced AGAIN. He then hastily grabbed all his equipment, stormed down the stairs, hitting our walls along the way and slammed our front door as he left. After this hostile engagement and still no project completion, he had the audacity to lie to his manager that the job was done and proclaim some sort of physical altercation. That is absurd especially since he was hostile towards us. We had no reason to be mad at him, he is an employee-not company owner. That false claim only adds more insult to injury. Who treats customers this way, especially after over 12 months on a project that should be one and done?! This is a very expensive job, not only due to ******** price but also the lost money in lost work time on our end.This company has many similar complaints on many forums.COMPLETED project and billing adjustment requested.

      ******** has not yet completed this project in the over 12 months. This latest incident, 10/22, has no resolution and no response to our calls/emails to date.  Every time I think this experience can't get worse--it does. We will not be recommending this company to any one for any reason. We do expect this project to be completed in a timely manner, although it's evident that our time means nothing to this company.  Having a non-locking window is never acceptable. Sending out hostile techs, is also not acceptable.  Their advertised "Never worry about window replacements again" isn't true as we've done nothing but worry about this for the past 13 months!

      Still not satisfied with the service, workmanship and product from Hansons Windows.  They are treating this as a warranty issue when their original project was never completed nor signed off by us.

       

      They sent a manager to review the last window that's still not working (not locking or sealing correctly) and verified our complaint.  Supposedly, a new part or complete window will be ordered, but I don't have clarification on what will be done nor when.  I believe this makes their total visits to our home to attempt to complete our project/fix their errors ~13 times.

       

      We are not satisfied with this project. We are certainly not satisfied with the price we've had to pay for all of this!

      We hired Hansons to install a roof and gutters. The crew they sent told them they need all new plywood on the house before they could roof it. We agreed with the condition we wouldnt be charged for the plywood not used. They did not redo any of the plywood on the addition of my house. They are charging me for 66 pieces of plywood at $84 a sheet when they used 48 sheets. I have the video footage of the workers only taking 49 off the stack and putting one back because it slid off the roof and was damaged. I just want to be charged for the ******************************************************************* just that i will pay for all 66 that they ordered and claim they used.

      Had new shingles and vinyl siding installed September 2023. After a heavy rain in April, I noticed the roof was leaking I got ahold of Hansons to come out and fix it and they sent a guy to fix it, it didn't help the leak they sent another crew out and whatever they did it didn't help it actually made the leak worse. I have been contacting someone from Hansons since April 2024 to fix the roof and spots on my siding and when they do respond it's just a brush off saying they don't have a crew to come over. They got my money and now the repairs aren't important anymore. P.S.       Hi. I bought siding, trim and gutters for my house from Hansons in the year 2020. Due to covid did not get materials in to when they started house in winter of Dec.2021 through Feb.2022 in a snowstorm. I have a loan out for I think $10,000. I probably still owe half if not a little more. I thought I would have been getting presentable materials all around the house. The siding is dark ***** like trim. The problem is that in front of my house the siding at windows and above windows is dis colored. This happens the first time in 2023 which Hansons came out and replace. Now it has happened again the same siding and I have called and talk to customer service and a manager, and the manager says that Hansons does not replace under warranty dis colored material due to sun. I have showed pictures of trim above windows in front of house and show where trimming at windows where sun hits in the same areas as damaged siding is that the trim in these 2 areas is not dis colored. ****** manager said they would come out and replace if I pay for the repairs. I stated why would I do that if the same outcome per our conversation. This was just last week Oct.18,2024 trying to resolve issues with Hansons on siding.

      Tell us why here... 1800Hansons is sorry for an issue that is not warrantied per warranty at Hansons, we do not cover the fading of siding under our warranty, and the last repair was completed as a onetime courtesy. If you are interested in receiving a quote for repair, we can help prepare a quote for replacement of this siding, but per our policy, fading is not covered.

       

      The area in question has a direct solar influence. No other materials are affected.

      Suggestion. Contact the manufacturer for any relief if available

      The Area in question has sun light hit same material around damage material and is not dis colored and has kept it color. All in front of house.  Also, on their ****** web site warranty it does say 1-800-Hansons siding is protected against discoloration, mold, mildew, and ultraviolet light.

Including the confirmation of which direction the opening panel would slide it's unfortunate that the dispute has occurred as we have done everything to try to resolve the issue including offering a seriously substantial discount to change the door wall even though contractually it was correct.

      I purchased windows from Hansons about 24 hours ago and every time I call Hansons theres a reason they cant give me through to the cancellation people. My 72 hours will run out. I want proof that I called them. They will not put me through cancellation. GetI spoke with ****

      I ordered windows from ****** back in April of 2023. The first set of windows we received had many flaws and they had the manufacturer came and looked at the windows to see if they could be ***aired. The said no and they would need to order a second set. Those were ordered and many flaw to the point they had to order a third set. That set was installed in the spring of 2024. I had reached out to the *** again because on the Third set of windows some of the windows close on there own and other don't close and I have to force them to close. He told me he didnt know what i wanted him to do and i should just call for service on them. So I called the customer service line had to wait agin for someone to come and look at the. They said they had to order parts. This was back in August and still no word. During all this time I am still pating full price and not happy with the company or windows. They should be closed for bad service and quality of product. The product is very poor.

      After having new kitchen windows installed in March of 2023, I noticed a crack growing out out the corner of one of the windows less than a year later. I reached out to Hansons for service to replace the window in April of 2024. After the company asked me to provide serial numbers from inside of the ******************** rather than sending a representative to review the issue, the wrong window was ordered and left on my front porch. The window was reordered again and installation was scheduled for July. On the installation date, I was advised the wrong window was ordered. Five months after my original request was made and I have received no follow up and the window has not been replaced.
