              I hired Story Roofing to replace my old metal roof with a new roof. They only offered me one, a shingled metal roof at $12,100. They assured it would be the last roof I needed and snow would slide off. I paid half down in June 2020 and the balance in July 2020 after the roof was installed. Snow did not slide and I ended up with a lot of very thick ice, and enormous amounts of ice sicles. I had water and ice running down my siding, into windows and doors. They removed turbine vents that was on the old metal roof, assuring me they were not needed and installed a ridge vent. This is not working. My house is a manufactured home with cathedral ceilings and no attic. It is approximately 26 by 44 small ranch and no dormers. Snow did slide off my old metal roof until it aged too much.

              Poor communication, workmanship, and quality. Managers and supervisors are rude and unapologetic when their crew's work is not done correctly. Made many excuses and did not fix the problems that are wrong with our roof, even after meeting with them, showing the issues, documenting, taking pictures, etc. The amount of time, energy, and money we have spent on a shingle roof is very disappointing to say the least. Working with Story has been an awful experience. I do NOT recommend anyone use them for your home.
