Im one who like to pay there bills on time. Making a payment to the creditor is the most frustrating process I have ever encountered. They never sent me a physical card and ever avenue I try to use to make payment wants a card number. I have even gone as far as reporting a card stolen and asking for a new one. Never received a new card. Dont even get me started on the online attempts I have made. How are we expected to maintain good credit standing when the process to make a payment requires 3 hours our time just to make good on our agreement. I almost believe this is a deliberate plan to force customers to accrue extra *********************** and late fees. This business is borderline predatorial.

TD Bank Refuses to Honor Its Own Cashiers Check Today I accompanied my client to the TD Bank located in downtown *********, **. My client had been given a cashiers check, drawn on that branch of TD Bank, as his portion of the settlement of his fathers estate. When my client presented the cashiers check to the TD Bank teller, he was told that the bank would not honor their own cashiers checkunless my client opened a checking account at their bank and deposited the check into that TD Bank checking account. We asked to speak to the TD Bank manager, and he reiterated what the teller had told us. The TD Bank manager knew the cashiers check was goodhe even recognized the signature of the bank officer who drafted the cashiers checkbut he insisted that the TD Bank policy was that they would not cash the cashiers check that they had issuedthey would only deposit the check into a new TD Bank checking account that my client had to open at their bank.We wound up taking the TD Bank issued cashiers check to the local *********** branch and they accommodated my client. Is this legal? Can a bank really refuse to honor its own cashier checks?

Worse call service ever. Called last month as they overcharged my on statement which clearly states an amount, which they fixed after 90 min wait time, only to see the payment was high again on the next statement. After another 90 min wait I hung up frustrated, but there is no other resolution than to call back and wait, so guess what I'm doing after an hour on hold so far? I'll be sure in the future to find out who finances x and y products before I purchase, never again with this bank. Unfortunately you have to give a minimum of 1 star to post, otherwise I think there score would be even lower than the 1.13 I'm seeing.

Multiple TD Bank employees lied to me. I asked 2 different techs on the 888 number if SMS (text) was required for their online banking authentication. I was assured that they could call, text, OR email. I also spoke with a local TD Bank person in the new accounts division, named *****. ***** also assured me over the phone that SMS would not be required for ANY aspect of the account. I told her this was why we left our other bank and are driving around with a huge check in the car. She assured me that we did not need a phone that can text.I made an appointment and we met with ***** at the bank today. I asked her a third time, "Are you sure I don't need to text?" .. She said "Well, you do for online banking.". I told her this was the whole point and asked why she would talk so much on the phone with me about it, then say the opposite when I arrived at the bank. All she could come up with was "Sometimes people make mistakes..." Really? Two people on the phone and then a third at the local bank? This is not a mistake.

I cannot get a hold of TD Financing/Retail Card Services, despite many calls with 2+ hours of wait time. Shame on this company! Do not ever open an account with them. I financed my NordiTrack with them and need copies of my statements, which used to be online until they switched web addresses. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

DO NOT DO BUISNESS WITH TD RETAIL BANK--> I Was forced to use TD Retains for a ******* phone financing program [NOTE: NO card was ever sent nor the full account number ever mailed to me], phone has been fully paid off at this point but warranty plan of ***** was charged through this service [******* Care+]. I have a collections letter from TD Retail card services for a payment that DID processed (No email notification of issues via email or physical letter as my preferred notification settings in the web account portal). Additionally I have a late payment Credit report from this vendor that is wrongfully filed and I am working through having it deleted. Trying to get an agent on the phone for the Collections was easy but they refused to help as there is NO collection currently in progress. So collections forwarded me to the main support line which does NOT answer a phone call. I have made multiple attempts ranging from 45 minutes to nearly 2 hours to get support and answers to what is going on and I have yet to get anyone on the phone. Note this is all over roughly a ***** payment, with 8.00 pay OFF, which was made and there is no process to close the account within the web portal; using the phone to try and close the account I was being asked for my account number, which again was NEVER sent to me. I need to close this card but to date have no way to do so, malicious, vile and dangerous bank to deal with making it extremely difficult to access or close the account against federal regulations, this bank needs some serious lawsuits and Federal investigations to its practices. Reporting to Texas Attorney General for Consumer Fraud and filing on here a case, plus looking at what other actions I can take to get this account closed and the fraudulent filing removed from my record.

Opened the card to finance a Zeroturn mower. First payment made fine through online payment. The second payment was "returned" however it never hit my bank account. I called my bank to verify if the payment was ever tried to process. It was not. No record of it being attempted. Received next statement and it shows it was paid as does the recording of my account information but then my payment due shows I have a late payment fee and have to pay last month's payment also. I have tried to call several times. On hold for hours. I drive to and from work with over an hour drive. I sit on hold the ENTIRE drive. I called first thing in the morning, person answered and hung up. I called right back, on hold for 1.5 hours, no answer. This is the WORST customer service I have EVER experienced. How can I resolve a payment issue if I can't get through to a person to answer my questions?
