    I hired a company named Elegant Floor Services ti repair and refinish my Hardwood Floor. They came and did the work but there were some issues with the spot they replaced and repaired. The boards were sinking and some coming up. I contacted Elegant Floor Services and the owner came to see the spot. The repairman came and worked on the spot and placed some weighted objects on top of the spot to make it stay down and instructed me to let it stay for two weeks. The owner refunded me $200. to compensate me for the bad job his installation crew did on that spot. The heavy objects didn't work and, now there are several spots that are tenting like waves across my Floor. I've asked the owner to come to see the issues and he refuses to rectify the issue or refund my payment.

    Mr. ****** hired us to repair and refinish his small condo in ************   I discovered on first inspection of his floor that he was using puppy pee pads to allow his adult dog to urinate in his unit, I presume rather than walk the dog.   I called out this practice as dangerous to his engineered hardwood.   He insisted that the dog never urinated other than on these pads and that urine never reached the wood floor.    That was contradicted by the pet damage whose repair was part of our scope.   We completed the repairs and the sanding/refinishing.   He complimented the work repeatedly.   Later he called about one of the new repair boards lifting slightly we returned and took care of that issue.

    He called again, this time complaining about a dip in the floor.  I went to inspect and frankly:  1.  Found the dip near impossible to see it could not possibly be noticed by the uninitiated (someone to whom it wasnt pointed out);  2.   It was unrelated to any of our work (sanding/refinishing doesnt cause dips).   The more I listened the more it was apparent to me that Mr. ****** would not be satisfied by repeated attempts by our crew.    As I sometimes do, I thought it prudent to offer Mr. ****** a cash credit to compensate for his perceived grievances, terminate our relationship.   He agreed and we paid him the credit.
