    Transaction Date: 2/10/2024 Amount: $19.99 Problem: Breach of contract, unfair business practices, unethical behavior. WRONG billed amount for ImmersionFitness.org domain that was incorrectly billed $19.99 & should have been billed at $9.95 FOREVER just like my other 14 domains. Renewal rate also incorrectly shows $19.99. Correct billed amount AND renewal rate are each $9.95/yr.     After many unsuccessful attempts for almost a month to contact the business we finally received a call back saying we would receive a refund. We have now received a refund, however it was only partial. When i contacted this business to discuss they told us due to the "per diem" cost of the services they are "unable" to give us a complete refund. To reiterate, they made fraudulent representations and we contacted them to receive a refund within 3 business days and NO services were received.fund and had NO IDEA when that would happen. I told them to call me the next day once they were able to speak with someone but now it has been over a week and we have not heard back at all. Given that we were intentionally lied to to sell us a product that did not fix our problem and we did not need we are DEMANDING that Turbify does process a full refund.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Turbify employees made fraudulent claims in order to solicit a payment from our company. There were 0 services provided to us, and the payments received were ill gotten gains.

    We did receive a "prorated refund" as identified in the response, however, given that fraud was committed by Turbify and no services were provided we are demanding a COMPLETE refund of ALL monies paid by our organization.

    Additionally, Turbify's customer service was contacted by our organization once we realized only a partial refund would be provided. We were given multiple different excuses as to the reason a full refund could not be provided. The variety in explanation further demonstrates that Turbify runs illegitimate business practices intended to prey on consumers that do not have expertise in web hosting to illegitimately collect monies.

    This company, Yahoo AABACO Small Business is charging me $233.98 on my AMEX Card. I told Amex not to pay , but they said this a recurring charge as a renewal. I do not know this company, I can not reach this company, - I have tried all week and their machine says " call back" and hang up! They do not respond to their email - where I have asked them to stop doing this! I am a ********************* teacher and I so not know this company - nor do I! What can I do?

    Starting in October of 2023, I noticed an increase in charges for my monthly fee. I was not aware of the increase from $18.99 to 499.99. Then in December it in creased to $84.98 per month. I asked for an explanation of why the increases, and I also asked for a refund of the overages. I was told that I could not receive a refund because I pay monthly for my website fee. I asked what does that have to do with anything. I was never given an explanation why the drastic increase other than my summation that Turbify purchased this from ******** who purchased it from *****. What a tangled mess. I cancelled my website but I would like an adjustment and refund be made in the amount of $158.00 overages.

I talked to Aabaco and they explained that the 2-3-23 charge was the result of me updating my credit card. They could not explain why the second charge was almost double the yearly charge. I canceled my account. The representative said he could only refund me $200, but he kept asking for my credit card number because he said he could not reverse a ****** charge. He told me I needed to enter the current credit card as a payment method. I did this and the representative said I needed to re-activate my account. I do not want to do this because I fear it would incur additional charges. This company needs to refun me the full amount because I did not authorize any new or higher annual charges. i am extremely concerned about the $215.99 charge and the company now also having my credit card on file. Please resolve this.

    The company did not notify users of increased prices clearly in email notices. Service price was doubled and a new charge was added which had not been charged prior in 20 years of service use. The company has made claims that a service glitch or the price increase message was lost in the users "spam" folder. According to internet hosting provider laws in the US, vendors are required by law to notify users of planned price increases, none of which can be found in the emails sent by the company or the menu/faq system of the company. If seems this has happened to 100's of users that I have reached out to. Some have paid $1000's in charges for mulitple domains as a result and are considering making this a Class Action issue.

    Turbify notified its customers of a price increase to Turbify’s services via email on July 31, 2023 & then again October 1, 2023 for upcoming renewal. Such email informed customers that additional information regarding the price increase would be available via Turify’s FAQ page, found here:

    This business has not done what they were contracted to do. I have called over 20 times trying to get my issue resolved and they have locked my account with absolutely zero resolution. I have spent hours on the phone with them and all they tell me is they cannot get me to a person who can help me and that they will continue to work on it. I sent them all of the needed paperwork on July 10, 2023. It has been months and hours of my time and still no resolution. They are unethical and are paid to do nothing. False advertising.
