1 starMy experience with *** during the homebuilding process has been extremely disappointing. This build was completed entirely remote while relocating overseas for military duty, we expected to be kept fully informed. *********************** control fell far short of expectations. From the beginning, we were not informed of key options or given the chance to decline them. Some requests we specifically made were not properly documented & on several occasions we were told items were not possibleonly to learn later, after escalating to management, that they were. After signing documents, we were informed of paperwork errors & told we had to pay more for a blueprint discrepancy that was not our responsibility. When visiting the design studio, the assistant acknowledged, your seller should have informed you of those options. Upon finally seeing our home in person, we were shocked to find a 4ft drop from the back door to the yard with no stairs or accessibility. We were never informed of this & would have selected a porch had we known. *** also advertises features in their model homes that they do not actually deliver, which the production manager admitted was common practice. Quality issues have been ongoing. Before closing, we submitted numerous discrepancies to be corrected, yet weeks later many remain unresolved. Despite repeated attempts, I never met my seller in person, & once the home was signed & commissions were received, communication stopped completely. *** also failed to conduct any follow-up or satisfaction survey. This has been the worst homebuilding experience I have haddespite this being my 3rd home. Neighbors in this community share the same concerns about **** lack of transparency, quality, & accountability. I regret choosing *** & strongly advise others to carefully research their quality control history before purchasing. I have extensive ********************** that show shortcuts taken & poor workmanship throughout the process.DRB Group

1 starNov 22, we purchased a *** home. Feb 25, we noticed a crack forming in the front entrance wall near the butlers pantry. Mar 25, we started to smell a musty odor coming from the butlers pantry cabinets. Apr 25 the crack to be getting worse. **** warranty ***, ******* ****** was contacted on May 16th by text and email with pictures. His response I will reach out to one of our engineering vendors for input. A follow up text and email to ******* on May 30th and on Jun 12th. No Response! Jun 12th, we scheduled a foundation / basement ***air company to determine if we are having foundation problems. The Specialists ***ort was inconclusive on the foundation, but his air test did determine more moisture coming inside the home near the Butlers pantry area. In his opinion, the moisture came from the **** system. Jun 18th, we spoke to **** ****** (bldg. *** for DRB) He instructed us to look at the outside electrical box. **** sent us pictures of how this box should appear. The pictures show the electrical box has a seal around it. We scheduled an **** co *** for Jun 19th. The **** co *** determined that there are no leaks from the **** system. He took a measurement from the front of the house to the **** system, and was very sure the water was not coming from the **** system. An additional measurement is perfectly aligned with our electrical meter box where water is likely intruding into the home. I confirmed the water intrusion issue by removing the kick plate in front of the Butlers pantry cabinets and discovered black mold at the bottom of the wall. Jun 19th, ******* was contacted by text. He responded immediately by text asking for pictures to be emailed to the warranty email box. We sent pictures of mold 3 different methods (text, & 2 email accts). Warranty team stated, they were unable to view pictures, files wont open. After looking into your account, the warranty on any sort of water intrusion which could cause mold expired Nov 24. Very disappointingReview fromSean B

1 starPlaced a contract on *********, Monticello off *************. My financing fell through and this organization decided to keep my 5K. My agent ***** Archangel was absolutely useless. Drop by location to determine how we were to proceed. He stated, Ill get your deposit back. Well, two weeks later, ***** has not contacted me, the Senior Sales Agent ***** refuse to contact me. Regardless, of any circumstances an employee should have contacted me. Not me chase them down unsuccessfully. I called ******* with customer service and he advised the only person over ***** the ************** is the ** and I cannot speak with him or her. The level of professionalism within this organization is appalling. No accountability with staff members. No effective customer service with sales agent. Just steer clear, not worth time or money. Now, I have to file a civil suit via ************************************. Sad. But I am always up for a good **********************Review fromDeanna W

1 starI had a home inspection done pre drywall and post drywall. The items that were listed as problematic were not addressed. Two years in and I don't have hot water in one bathroom shower, wall oven was delivered in March 2023 and still not hooked up, cracked bathroom tiles, uneven painted ceiling colors in living room, gouges throughout trim that were roughly painted over, warranty company has not covered or addressed one thing. ******** company to work with...... I reported cracks in driveway and 3 season porch, and am afraid foundation will crack as well. Shutters are completely big off and neighbor said they reported it to building manager. No help, not one item has been addressed, problems not mitigated and plan to geo to small claims court to have all expenses refunded. Horror stories from neighbors about mold, leaking ceilings, poor construction, ..... buyer bewareReview fromFrancella H

1 starI bought my home in *************, I came out to the site twice a week. I asked to have a pre drywall inspection and I was given a date to come and have it done. But when the inspector and I showed up my drywall was all ready done, so I was denied my inspection. One of the big red flags. My walk through was the day before I closed on my home. My hot water in my house is lukewarm I was told it was the ruler that new built home have to be like that but when I close they will come out and fix it where it would be hot. I dont have a GFC outlet in my bathroom I was told that if something happens I would have to go do downstairs and reset it, while he laughed. My windows have a big breeze coming through all of them. I had no screens in the window. They shipped the to me and when they got put up I noticed that they was to small. I have to mud all over my brick that was supposed to be washed off. Holes in my walls. The trim around my garage door was cut to short and rats came in through the holes. They came out to fix it but still an opening and I have to get the rats out and cleaned out. The light fixture lose, my lights in all my bathrooms are flecking on and off. A lot of areas on my walls rough need to be sanded down, paint buildup like its been painted ten times. My paint on the outside is discolored some spots is missing paint. My grass was never sod they planted seeds my yard is mess. The dirt all around my house as cracks through out my yard . I was told it will fill in. But if not the warranty will redo my yard. **** and the I think the superintendent told me as will. DRB ask me to do a Survey and be entered in a $500 drawing but after I gave a bad service they throw it out. The material the use is cheap as well my ad vice to anyone dont go to the closing until all the blue tape is down and you are ?? satisfied.Review fromMerrill T

1 starBeware of this builder! We had them build a home for us in ********** Pa at ********** over 55 community. I wish we had investigated them better. We would have used someone else. They are in our opinion the worst builder in this community as other neighbors have said as well. Numerous serious problems including plumbing leaks, faulty Sheetrock installation problems flooring problems that was installed over plastic that you can hear crunching with each step. Worst of all is the improper grading of our yard that floods my rear corner of my house with water 2-4 deep after a rain. They do not respond to requests to make repairs to remedy the issues or return text messages, emails or phone calls. After 8 months of being ignored we are hiring a lawyer to try to recover from this nightmare. Save yourself, do not hire this builder!!!Review fromDevin S

1 starI purchased my home with DRB in 2021. Throughout my time of living here, we as a community have experienced a terrible business relationship with them. We were promised a walking trail around the neighborhood (as stated within our ***) and that is no longer an option. Other things that were also marketed to us (whether on their website for the community or the *** found online) were a dog park, a park for children, a noise wall made out of masonry and NOT wood, and a community center that was supposed to be done in 2021 (as you see its now 2024). Another frustrating thing that I've seen consistently is once we close on our homes, shortly after they would have ******* come in and ***** into our newly laid grass to run cables. Why didn't they schedule them to come before putting the grass down? So many of us have tried to get DRB and ******* to take accountability in repairing our lawns and all they do is point fingers. I would NOT recommend purchasing from DRB in the future.Review fromShauntina G

1 star*************** Builder deseve 0 stars. I purchased a brand new home with *************** Builder in September 2023. They have been an absolute nightmare to deal with. As a teacher and a single parent, I do not have money to waste. There have been so many issues I don't even know where to start. I do not regret buying a home. I do regret purchasing a DRB home. The quality and craftsmanship of these homes are horrible. Buyers beware. It's a shame we can not post pictures because the pictures alone would speak volumes. The garage door would not lift upon moving in.The water pump went out I was without water for 2 days. The dishwasher had insulation falling out.My door and shutter are not painted the correct color! (This is still an ongoing battle)Roofing is not flushed against the water drainage system. ( They refuse to address the issue) The light fixture was secured improperly. The door handle falling off.The ceiling is peeling in the Kitchen. Dead landscaping was reported before moving in. They stated that they would replace it but never did. There has been a ton of floor buckling. At that point, I had to buy a rubber mallet and watch a ******* video to figure it out independently. The contractor and the warranty managers do not want to be bothered by the poor craftsmanship errors that they create.Review fromCharlie B

1 starLet me begin this review by stating that if I could give zero stars to the DRB Group on this review I would! I purchased a DRB Group Townhouse in May 2022. The other day I turned on our air conditioning for the first time this season and it did not work. I called out the company that installed the unit in 2022. Their name is *************. ************* came out this past Tuesday and Wednesday and investigated the situation. At the end of the day they told me there is a leak somewhere in the wall between the ground level and the top of the attic. They say that a contractor probably inserted a nail that went through the copper pipe. But they have no idea where the leak is. They said we would have to cut out all the sheet rock from the ground up to the attic in order to find the leak. Upon hearing this, I immediately called the man that was our warranty guy when we purchased the unit. His name is *****************************. I left ****** a detailed message with my name and phone number twice. I explained that we were hoping they could give us some sort of financial assistance and get the ** fixed since our unit is only 22 months old. After one week of not returning my call and not answering emails from ************* ***************************** says theyre not going do a thing and he says Im threatening him. The nerve, arrogance and audacity of him to say Im threatening him when Im the one that bought a new townhouse 23 months ago and I dont have any air-conditioning. I would read my review carefully folks and I would never never advise you to do any business with DRB homes, especially in ********** and especially with this Warranty manager, ***************************** and his boss. We are going to attempt to call the president of DRB group and explain the situation. But again there are so many good builders out there. You dont need to settle for a bad one like DRB group. Do you homework, spend the money you need to go with a really good builder and skip DRB group. Do not buy your home from them ever..
