      It's a bad thing to rent a car.
      - They did not accept my full cover insurance that I have with Geico. I have traveled in 2022 more than 5 times to Puerto Rico and all the cars I rented accepted my insurance. (Dollar, Payless, etc.)
      - Costs tripled. My rent was for two days and it was $45.00 and they charged me $138.00.
      -The vehicle was in poor condition, it didn't close the doors, they made me go back to the dealership and when I arrived they told me that they didn't have time to assist me. I had to hurt myself as I came.
      -The car did not have a full gas tank.
      - The refund of the deposit has not been returned to me. Every time I call they make excuses to delay the return.
      I do not recommend this company.
      They are near the Luis Munoz Marin airport in Puerto Rico.

      Waited 3 hours in line, then 30 for them to bring the car. Horrible service. I got charged for fees that they were never explained. At the time of returning the car they over charged me. I am calling to make sure this gets resolved and no one takes responsibility for what is going on.

      I recently rented a car at Fort Lauderdale airport. It was prepaid. When I tried to pick it up, I was told they were completely sold out. The refused to refund my money because it was prepaid and non refundable. I NEVER received a car.

      Waited almost 2 hours in line to get a vehicle. I had reserved a **** Explorer or similar. Rep tried to give me a mini van. I said no. She's like "well i don't have any other vehicles". I stated this wasn't acceptable as I wanted the vehicle I reserved. She tried to say the mini van was an upgrade. I disagreed. I do not wish for a mini van. She offered a Kia ***** YUCK. She said "there just aren't any other options" I told her that it was their responsibility to have the cars on hand that people reserved. She said it wasn't and to call expedia if I was unhappy. I stated her company's name was on the line for a bad review. She did not care. She offered that I could come back later and see if anything was returned. I declined as I had already waited almost 2 hours. I asked for a partial refund due to this. She declined stating again this was not her problem and to take what she could give. After a long time arguing with her i ended up with the kia ***** But then when loading my luggage in tears due to the fact i did not reserve this uncomfortable car my son walked back into the rental area stating "anything but that soul PLEASE" she then looked at him and said "well we have a durango here if you can wait for it to be cleaned" WHY COULDN'T SHE HAVE SAID THAT TO ME AND AVOIDED ALL OF THIS???????? We waited another 30 minutes while they did a half-way clean job on that durango. It was manageable and I accepted it. However, i will say the back seats were covered with something sticky, the outside was covered with mud, and the gas tank was less than 1/4 tank. The process and attitude was terrible. I was not charged extra fees like I see many reviews state. But I was prepared with my insurance policy showing rental car coverage so maybe that's why. Never again will i use this company.

      Let me explain thoroughly what occurred with this disgusting, horrible business that should be embarrassed and closed by the BBB. One month previous to me arriving in Ft. Lauderdale I booked a reservation through Priceline stating that my 14 day rental would be $505. It said absolutely nothing about additional fees. It said that would be the total just like it is with every other rental I've ever done for 25 years. When I showed up at this place that was not at the airport, but I needed to be shuttled there, they asked me if I needed insurance and I said as I always do, I will use my own insurance and they said no problem so they took down the information for my insurance policy and then proceeded to charge me $350 which is unheard of. There were two other people in line before me they were just as furious. One of them called the police but then decided to leave. So when I showed up, I asked the police if they've ever heard of any such practice and they both said absolutely not. Then they wouldn't shuttle me back to the airport so the police took me where I had to spend double to rent a car from another company Last minute. I discovered that this was a franchise, so I called the corporate office to explain to them the details. The woman on the phone was sympathetic and understood that it was absurd that they would ever charge somebody to use their own insurance. They then created a “case”, and then decided that they were not going to compensate me for the difference between what was stated That I would pay and what I ended up having to pay ONLY after I had to follow up with them. When I went to the airport to ask every single other rental car company if they charge anything extra to use your own insurance, they all laughed and said this is why people shouldn’t be doing business with offsite rental companies, because they always steal from you.

      They will steal your money!I arrived to their ******, ****** office 5 minutes before the agreed pick-up time. They made wait 20 minutes to tell me that they didn't have any car available nor offered a near by office service I requested a reimbursement and it was denied because of policies stated on the reservation

      NEXT CAR is the WORST car rental place I have ever been to. They charge you Hidden Fees, airport fees and insurance you do not need!!
      Customer service is horrible!!
      $360 to rent a Toyota Camry for 3 days!!! Totally Ridiculous !! I could have rented a Mercedes S Class for less!! Stay away from this place!!

      I used the NextCar Rental located in BWI after finding what I thought was a great deal on Priceline. It is very apparent that this company participates in predatory practices from forcing customers to purchase their insurance to faking relaying information to an elusive "manager". Although I had insurance as well as secondary insurance to cover the car, I was told my insurance policy with Geico would not be accepted. The car was broken in to after I had the car for one night, so I returned it the next morning. My contract was not closed until I called to request it be closed. I was then charged over $600 in damages although I paid for insurance, which should have covered the costs. The contract was modified to reflect the one day the car was in my possession; however, the total cost was the same as the original because they charged me the damages without ever contacting me about them. I highly discourage anyone from doing business with this company. They offer "good deals" that result in a much larger expense than expected. You should definitely use a more reputable company for your rental car needs.

      You listed as OnSite at FLL airport on PriceLine. You are OFF SITE, completely dishonest. You put me and my family at great inconvenience at a critical time.

      I recently went to a car from NextCar Wheaton Maryland the sales agent Abdul K***** was very patient also very professional and knowledgeable! Even though my car was not there he worked very diligently to make sure that I had a car for me even gave me a free upgrade because my car was gone Mr. Abdul really went out of his way to put a customer first thank you once again!!
