My family's stay at Extended Stay at the 8890 Stanford Blvd Columbia MD location was the worst experience I ever had staying at a hotel. Here were some of the issues my family endured: #1 Bloody sheets on the sofa couch. They never changed the sheets during our two month stay. #2 Leaky Toilet. There was a water leak each that we had to clean up everyday. The toilet was also never fixed. #3 The room was very dirty so we bought our own cleaning products and scrubbed the walls and the floors, the bathroom and the kitchen area. The room was never cleaned by the maid staff. #4 Our son was unexpectedly charged $25 for used towels that were extra dirty because he was trying to clean the room again with our own cleaning supplies. The room was filthy and never cleaned by the staff.. #5 We requested that our room be switched but the staff never honored our request #6 During our last few days there we had to pay for another day because we stayed past the cutoff point of 11am. The amount we were quoted for an extra nights stay was $257 instead of the $87 I was initially quoted. #7 The faucet handle broke late one night and continued running throughout the night. To summarize I have never received more terrible service then what I received during our two month stay at room #210 at this Extended Stay. Many broken promises, rude vengeful treatment by staff, a dirty room, dirty linens, poor running facilities nonworking washers and dryers, non working elevators, etc. My wife discovered we had spent over $4000 in weekly rent during our stay.
