1 starI opened a high interest savings account with ********************** on 8/4/24 and after attempting to deposit a check online and not being able to find out how, I sent a message to the customer service team on 8/8/24. I still have not heard back from them on 8/12/24 so I decided to call the customer service line. After a very long time on hold I still have not connected with a representative after two attempts to call. At this point I do not trust the Bank and the way they run their business. I will refrain from depositing the rest of my funds and close my account. I would highly recommend others select a more reputable company to deploy their funds with as they don't seem to have a desire to assist their customers.

As it turns out, we do not have the ability to accept direct check deposits, but are able to accept ACH payments or unlimited transfers from your Checking account, which is available through your online banking portal. Transfers can take 1 to 3 business days to complete and can vary dependent on your financial institution. 1 starI have called ForBright Bank and sat on hold (it seams like forever). I would think they would have a call back service if they are busy. Sometimes spending some money on customer service will mean the happiness and retention of customers.Forbright Bank

1 starForbright Bank attached a UCC filing to my neighbors property and attached my property to the filing in error. They will not answer my emails and are of no help as far as working with me to get this matter cleared up. It is their error and it is holding up my entire life at this point. I cannot get a loan on my own property because they have attached it to my neighbors property and filed a UCC filing on her property. The property wasnt even her property when they filed it. I have no solar panels, no solar pane system, nothing like any of that and I am not the debtor and I just want my property released so that I can move forward. They are absolutely no help. Will not return a call, will not return a email. I do not recommend anyone doing business with them. I am not even doing business with them only trying to get them to fix their mess up.Forbright Bank

4 starsMy CD was easy on-line and didn't have to jump thru hoops to apply which I appreciate at 70 years old and my statements/earned interest show after each month-end, so I can print or not for my paper file. 1 star***************** I don't think they have that department. My first call to them has resulted in a half hour hold time. I'm writing this while I'm on hold for a simple technical issue with their website. I can't access my account online. I don't know how long this hold will go on but who has time for holds this long? It's time I can't get back. *******. If you want a bank that answers their phone, you may consider other banks.Forbright Bank

1 starOpened a CD on their website. Clicked on the button/link that stated "9 Month CD - 5.60% APY". Went through the entire application process, providing all of my personal information, uploading an image of my driver's license, and authorizing the transfer of the funding amount from my checking account via PLAID. The next day I received an email from Mr. Charles S****, VP Online Branch Manager, stating that their rate just dropped: "9 month cd the rate is now 5.320 and the APY or annual percentage yield is 5.45". I replied to therefore cancel the application and that I would think I'd be locked in to the rate at the time I applied for the CD and what was stated on the button/link I selected on their official website at that time.
I immediately called my checking account bank and instructed them to block any transactions from Forbright Bank and removed the PLAID link on that account. However, I still felt very uneasy that Forbright Bank now had all of my personal information and the authorization to transfer the funds from my checking account. This entire process was a total waste of my time!

1 starPlease be careful for those installing Solar Panels! I entered into an agreement with SunPro/ADT and the Sales Rep assured me their would be no Lein against my property. Six month after installation things were good. Now here comes Forbright acquiring the loan and immediately putting a Lein against my property. Shady business practices after the fact. In the process of trying to refinance debt and actually pay for the panels and Forbright is not willing to lift the Lein for 30 days to help me out. I've asked by phone and email and Forbright is unwilling to help me out. Putting the Lein on after acquiring my loan from SunPro Forbright put the locks on meForbright Bank

1 starI transferred money online to open a CD. Received an email stating I should open an account online. It was misleading to me as I thought I'd already done that. Bottom line, Forbright charged my checking for two CD's for the same amount. When I realized what was happening I call Forbright and was referred to my bank. Talked to my bank and they put a stop pay on the 2nd funds being transferred and referred me back to Forbright. Forbright said the funds had come thru and I now had 2 CD's and an overdrawn checking account. I kept getting the standard, in so many words, it's you fault. They can't return the funds but I can cancel after 45 days and pay their penalty. Why is it that my money gets to them with the click of a key and it takes 45 days for them to return the funds, plus I "get" to pay a penalty. I have yet to hear from my bank on how they're going to handle the overdrawn account as I don't have the means to replace that amount. I understand all the disclosures they have you sign, but really?Forbright Bank
