Hopefully based on the number of awful reviews here, anyone thinking about using this company will immediately change their mind, but here is my experience as well. I own a restaurant in rural ***** and was a client for just over a year, before I asked to cancel my account. When signing up, I was told like numerous other people, that this could be canceled at any time. I realize this is their sales practice and even though it is untruthful it works. And seeing how you are told this verbally, you have no leg to stand on. Clever. Within a couple months, we knew it was a mistake. We originally had great success, but then a new driver had our route, and it went downhill from there. They constantly brought the wrong number of aprons, rags, etc. We were billed for things we did not receive, and no credits were ever given. I called and emailed numerous times complaining, but no one helps, and they just tell you to talk to your driver, who let's be honest cares less and tell you to call them for any issues. The blame passing is intense. I finally had enough and cancelled my account. I paid my final bill and like everyone else on here am now being asked to pay over 12k in contract ending fees. My question is this... Why isn't there something protecting businesses from these types of contracts? If the service is not working and is not being handled, why shouldn't we have a platform to cancel? They just get to deliver whatever level of service they want and then stand behind their little contract? It should be illegal, and someone needs to step up and fight this. If anyone wants to please contact me and we will look into hiring an attorney who can take this on. It needs to stop. The ********************** and Bar in ***** ***** is my business. Please contact me there if you want to join me.

Crooks! Called and told us we didn't have a signed contract with them after many years of dealing with them. Switched to another supplier at that point (because of price) and now are charging us a cancellation fee after pointing out we actually have 1 year left and they were just trying to resign us early!

Predatory *************************************** Account Avoid ********************** at all costs. This company is predatory, dishonest, and completely untrustworthy. They garnished my personal bank account for a service that I never received and I was never even notified before they did it. The contract was with my ***, yet they went after my personal finances, which is not only unethical, but may be unlawful.Their contract automatically renews every six years, and they dont make this clear when you sign up. When I called to cancel the service, I was simply told, Just return the uniforms and youll be fine. I followed their instructions, returned everything, and assumed it was over. Months later, they came after me for $20,372.04 claiming I owed the full contract amount for breaking the agreement. Again, this is for a service I never even ************ Im facing garnishment of over $20k for something that was supposed to be simple uniform service and theyre targeting my personal bank accounts instead of the *** that signed the agreement. If youre a small business owner, or frankly anyone, do not trust UniFirst. Their business model is based on hidden terms, vague communication, and aggressive legal action. Ive lost time, money, and peace of mind thanks to their deceptive and damaging tactics.

Our experience with UniFirst has been extremely disappointing and frustrating from start to finish. Despite promises of reliable, high-quality service, the company consistently failed to meet even basic expectations.Uniforms were regularly returned in fewer numbers than what we sent out for cleaning, leaving our staff without proper work attire for weeks at a time. This caused significant disruption to our operations and demonstrated a clear lack of accountability and service quality on UniFirsts part. When we attempted to terminate the contract due to their ongoing service failures, UniFirst claimed that we had not followed the "correct" cancellation process. Despite making repeated efforts to communicate our intent to end the relationship, they insisted that we had to send a certified letter to a specific address and person named in the contractdetails that were neither clearly communicated nor reasonable under the circumstances. This situation underscores a cautionary tale for anyone considering doing business with UniFirst: review every contract term with extreme care, and be prepared for disappointing service and rigid enforcement of technicalities over fairness or performance. We would not recommend UniFirst to any organization that values reliability, professionalism, or accountability.

We love Unifirst and have been using them for years at our company. Any uniform company is driver based and Unifirst does a great job maintaining their drivers. I've dealt with two drivers in the past 15-plus years. Our current driver is **** and he is excellent. He's friendly, very professional, and isn't afraid to go above and beyond to make sure we're satisfied. Previous uniform companies nickeled and dimed us every time a change was needed, we had consistency issues, and no one ever seemed to have all their uniforms. Currently our deliveries are the same time every week and our employees always get what they're expecting. I would highly recommend them and am sincerely grateful they provide our uniforms.

**Subject:** Unprofessional and Non-Transparent Hiring Process I want to share my disappointing experience with UniFirst's hiring process, which I found to be disorganized and lacking transparency. It began on December 23rd with a phone interview. I passed and received an email on December 31st congratulating me for advancing to the next stage, an in-person interview. I confirmed the date and time within 3 hours, but I didnt hear back until January 7th, only to be given a completely different date and time. For over a week, I was left wondering if I needed to prepare for the original interview date. On January 10th, I attended the in-person interview with the sales manager and passed successfully. I was then invited to another interview on January 17th, where I was asked to prepare a presentation. I worked hard all week to perfect it and felt confident after delivering it. After following up on the results, I was informed that I would need to wait two more weeks for other candidates to complete their interviews before a final decision would be made. Today, after sending feedback about the drawn-out process, I received a response that they had decided to move forward with candidates who had experience in the fieldsomething they knew I lacked from the beginning. To make matters worse, I quit my long-haul trucking job and moved back from ******** to ******* to ensure I could fully dedicate myself to the process. I retrieved my suits from storage, spent money on dry cleaning, and even purchased new clothing to make the best impression. This process took over a month, left me without income, and was riddled with poor communication and unclear timelines. Im shocked that a reputable company like UniFirst would treat candidates this way. I hope this feedback encourages them to improve their hiring practices for future applicants.

Horrible service. They sold their service to our business, which is a flooring installation company, stating they could provide and clean all uniforms. Then after signing the contract they tell us they can't get any of the solvents out of the uniforms that we use on the daily. When trying to be released from the contract due to services not being able to be rendered up to par, we were told we would have to pay $12,000 to be released from the contract!!! SCAM SCAM SCAM! Even their own delivery driver's claim to not use their cleaning service because it is so bad!!!

Buyer Beware!**************** in ************ ******* had been a customer of ********************** for over twenty years. We would pay their weekly invoices automatically. It was not until we hired a new comptroller who looked into how much they had increased the cost of their services over the years that we realized they were taking extreme advantage of us.We sent a final payment and indicated we are canceling service only to find out that they are now suing us for a contract that was signed in 2016 and automatically renews!I strongly advice you to take caution ***** ***** President ***** **************
