I noticed a charge on my account in the amount of $16.95 from Christianbookrewards. I did not sign up for this program. They charged me $16.95 on Nov. 7. Dec 7, Jan 6 and Feb 6 in the amount of $16.95 each. Please help me get a refund and to cancel this charge each month.

I have made several online purchases over the years to christianbook.com. Apparently somewhere along the way I was signed up for a rewards program of some sort without my knowledge or permission. I have been incurring a monthly ****** charge of $14.95 from christianbook.com.I would never sign up for a rewards program like this. Clearly this is a scam. I am asking for the recurring charge to stop immediately and a refund of $299 which has been sent to christianbook.com monthly since July 2023.

Christianbook.com has charged my card $16.95 for the past seven months without my consent or my knowledge. The charges are for a rewards program that I most certainly did not opt into. I ordered several childrens books from the company for a total of $60.44 and have since been charged ~$85 as part of this scam. It is extremely unsettling and sickening that a company with that claims to operate in a Christian manner would bilk customers out of money. I would like to be refunded for the entirety of the "rewards" program that I was unaware I was participating in. It seems that many other unsatisfied customers have had a similar experience and that all agree that they did not opt in and that they were not made aware of ongoing charges.

I purchased an item with them on 9/7/2023 and since then they have managed to charge me $16.95 every month since 2023. I cannot believe this was happening, this is a robbery! I made a purchase for an item and did not agree to purchase any lifetime rewards membership. I will never use this company and I will pass on this information around my town to all the co-ops I know and blogs to uncover their criminal and abusive behavior. I will find all the channels to get my money back.

I placed an order with christianbook.com on December 9, to purchase Christian ********* gifts. However, I recently discovered that I have been charged $16.95 monthly since then for a "reward" program that I never knowingly signed up for. At no point during my purchase did I agree to any recurring charges, nor was I made aware that I was enrolling in a subscription service. This practice is unacceptable, feels deceptive and does not align with the ethical standards I would expect from a ****************** I have reached out to request a refund for these unauthorized charges and expect the company to correct this issue promptly. I urge others to carefully check their statements after purchasing from this company to avoid unexpected fees.I am disappointed by this experience and hope Christianbook.com will take responsibility for ensuring that all charges are transparent and fully disclosed at checkout.

I have not ordered from ChristianBook.com since December 2024. Today my credit card said I charged $16.95 at ChristianBook.com. I don't know why I was charged anything and my account does not show any purchase. People are saying it is for a subscription - but I did not subscribe to anything from ChristianBook.com. I hope I can cancel this with my credit card company. This is outrageous ,

I purchased a couple of Christian kids music albums (digital download) on Christianbook.com back on 5/12/23 and just today realized this company has been quietly billing me $14.95 every single month for a subscription I never asked for. Conveniently for them, theyve never emailed me about these monthly payments or even anything indicating that Im part of any sort of membership whatsoever. I would have never signed up for this. There wasnt even shipping costs associated with my order or any sort of discount. I dont EVER sign up for these things to save a quick **** or whatever the hook is, so Im confident that this was clearly deceptively snuck on me. In all, $313.95 has been taken out of my checking account over the past 21 months. Holy smokes. And then I come on here and read all these similar stories. Im absolutely sick to my stomach. This is a lot of money for our family. Completely unacceptable and unchristian for a company to operate like this.I will be seeking a full refund and if that doesnt happen, Ill be going through absolutely every contact, channel, and resource possible to raise awareness of this ongoing issue and shady business practice at Christianbook.com.

Christianbook.com began charging my credit card for their "reward program" which I did not sign up for. Since June, 2023 until January of 2025 for ***** per month. I bought 2 Bibles on 11/27/2024 and I was signed up for a membership that I did not consent to. The company sent me an email about joining a membership which I never opened. Nowhere in the purchase process does it say that I am consenting to any sort of membership. They charged me $16.95 twice in the month of January. I would like my $33.90 back. Is this legal? Can a company sign me up for a membership and only inform me of it by an email that is separate from the purchase?

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback about our Christianbook Rewards program. We genuinely apologize for any confusion regarding the Christianbook Rewards program and that it wasn't clear to you that you had opted to enroll in the 30-day free trial after completing your purchase.

It's important to us that our offerings are clear and beneficial for our customers so we try to send email periodically about your membership status so that you're aware of your active enrollment--we're sorry you missed those.

When you placed your order with us, we presented an offer to receive a rebate on your order. It asked for you to provide your email address, check a box that stated that you agreed to the automatic renewal offer and billing details, and click on the join button. It also explained that after the 30-day free trial there is a $16.95 monthly fee for Christianbook Rewards.

I've confirmed that your account has been cancelled and will ensure that you're refunded for any charges that were posted to your account for your ********************** Rewards membership.

Please know that your concerns will be shared with the right team for further evaluation. We deeply appreciate your trust in us, and we are committed to ensuring a better experience for you in the future.
