      I'm in ******** where utilities are regulated. Nexamp's rates are the same as ComEd's as promised. My bills from ComEd have been $0 this past year. I am satisfied with their service and prices.

      They didn't tell us that we would be billed separately and I have sent a copy of a receipt and I am still being charged that amount. We opted out quickly. Also no savngs

During the signup process we try to be as clear as possible to explain that Nexamp invoices separately based on reductions that were applied to your utility bill at your agreed upon discount. We apologize if you were not aware of that. To address your comment regarding your account balance, I can see that there has been a payment applied to your account and appreciate your attention to such. If you have any further questions about your balance or wish to set up a payment plan, our team is always willing to assist. We do all that we can to maximize your savings through our program and apologize if the service didnt meet your expectations. Thank you, ******

      We generate most of our power with our solar array. We are connected to the grid through Central *********** and pay about $20 a month for that service ( this has increased $4 a month over the past several years). I signed up for Nexamp nearly two years ago with the thought it might reduce our electric bill which we pay for several months in the winter when our panels dont produce enough power for our consumption. They finally came online. (during this waiting period I received multiple offers of free **** cards which I tried to get but was told I did not qualify for because I had already enrolled). I finally received my first bill from them last week. It was $ 373 !!!!! That is than we pay for 2 months in winter from CMP. And this was for months when we are producing 100% of our own electricity. Needless to say I cancelled my service immediately and will not pay that bill. When I called Nexamp they gave me some lame explanation that made no sense. Not a good company and based out of state.

      Thank you for your feedback about the program. We are sorry to hear about your experience and would like to take a moment to address the concerns that you raised. The design of our program is to help reduce utility costs for people who cannot use solar panels themselves. Since you already offset most of your usage costs with your own panels, the savings are not as easily recognized. I apologize for the inconvenience. I know that our SVP of Customer Experience has been working with you directly to meet your needs as best as possible.

      The continuation of this saga is as follows. After the immediate cancellation ( I have an email from Nexamp confirming the cancellation in October) of our account after the first bill in October of 2022 of $373, we continued to received bills and finally received our last bill on January 19, 2023 in the amount of $1665.86. We dealt directly with a customer service representative who tried (unsuccessfully) to explain how we were being billed even after cancellation in October. We finally came to an agreement to pay $336.67. I mailed the check yesterday, very reluctantly, but I was concerned it would reflect on our credit so I paid it. I still do not understand how a residence which has 43 solar panels and produces all our power except in the winter months could generate billing to the extent Nexamp claims. However it "works", it's a terrible system and not consumer friendly.
