1 starAura created an avenue for identity thieves to unlock my husband's credit. We are experiencing ID theft, communication interference, and phone number spoofing. It appears that the app nearty assembled all our information in one place to be stolen by people hacking our Internet and/or phones. No customer service. 1 starI brought a year police, payed for it buy credit card, charge went thru, went to use service. Put in password, it would not take it, called customer service, I gave them information they ask for they couldn't get to work either, they then asked or my social security number which I refused. I would give them a -0 suggest you save your money an don't waste you time or moneyAura

1 starScammers. The people who are supposed to protect my money actually STOLE IT!!They TRIPLED my yearly payment without notifying me. The person I spoke to on the phone stated it was something new they were trying. Basically RAISING the yearly fee to see how consumers reacted to it. I cancelled membership starting AS OF THE DAY I CALLED, and asked for a refund. They refused to refund my money and left my membership open and, set to expire in 1 year. I did NOT agree to a $200+ payment which was 3x my normal payment.This company literally SCAMMED ME!!Aura

1 starAura hasn't worked right for the 2 months I had it. They charged me $59 for a year but then when I frequently called to say not working they canceled me but stated I canceled when I did not. Now they want $179. Not dependable. Recommend don't use.Aura

1 starjust spent the whole morning, 4 hours trying to buy aura and get it to wor. customer service is incompetent,after 8 calls during which youhave to give all your information each time, I jumped through such hoops as using edge as a browser,giving it a half hour, (three times)turning autofill off and on...it never ********** do they earn any money? I did give my info 8 times...Aura

1 starThe company failed to notify me that someone had placed their name as a additional credit card holder. Further without any proper notification they renewed my service, charging me $119 for a company I no longer wanted to have protecting my identity and credit. I reached out to them and their response was essentially we are sorry but we don't provide refunds and did not respond regarding why I wasn't informed when som attached their name to my credit cardAura

They have closed my account so I have no access and no identity fraud protection but still being charged $264.71. I have called them several times but am never able to speak to someone who can help. 1 starI signed up for a 7-day trial with Aura in 2023 and canceled within the trial period. Despite canceling, I have been charged annually for THREE CONSECUTIVE YEARS (2023, 2024, and *****) at $180 per year for a service I never used beyond the initial 7-day trial.Each year, I've had to spend hours on the phone and sending multiple emails to get these unauthorized charges reversed. The pattern is always the same:Discover an unexpected $180 charge on my credit card Contact customer service Be told various excuses about why the cancellation "didn't take"Fight to get my money refunded In my most recent interaction (March 2025), their "24/7 customer support" representative claimed they couldn't even process a cancellation because I "don't have the service" - while simultaneously charging me $180 for said service! This circular logic is clearly designed to make cancellation nearly impossible.This company appears to operate on a business model of making cancellation difficult and hoping customers won't notice recurring charges. Their practices potentially violate consumer protection laws regarding unauthorized billing and subscription renewals.I strongly caution any consumer against providing billing information to this company. If you do try their service, document all cancellation attempts thoroughly and monitor your credit card statements carefully, as they may continue charging you for years despite cancellation.I am filing this complaint after three years of the same issue recurring annually.
