  I received an email about cancelling my subscription. I'm not interested in cancelling my subscription. I want to add a device to my subscription. I wanted to add protection for my tablet. I think you guys misunderstood what I was inquiring about. I want to add my tablet to my account.REMOVED

  Used to be quite satisfied with Total AV. That is until recently when I contacted them about some problems with my service that needed their attention. Call started off well. I explained my issue - getting a high volume of suspicious emails and connectivity issues. They scanned my system and said they would have to take over my system to correct the problem. After more than a half hour they claimed to have corrected the problem. And then informed me there would be a charge for their service. 1) Did not at any time tell me what the problem had been or 2) what the amount was they were charging me. Only that the updates they performed would take some time to be installed and system would automatically restart once completed. After they supposedly updated my system I checked with my bank and they had charged over $500 which went to someone in REMOVED. The next day I tried doing some things on my computer only to find out was considerably slower than before their "repair". Tried contacting them and could not get response. Checked my bank account and they had charged several hundred dollars for their supposed repairs which was sent to someone in REMOVED. Told my bank I wanted to dispute their charge as the system was now working worse than before. Bank told me to contact authorities to report the issue and that they would start a claim dispute and suggest I file a complaint with federal authorities which I did. REMOVEDhas refunded my payment but say investigation still under way awaiting a final report from the authorities. Initial report was that I had supposedly approved the payment amount (which I had never been told) and I would have to wait for further investigation. They claim that I approved the amount but admit they can not produce a recording of my apprival. REMOVEDhas since refunded my money. Unfortunately my system is working worse than before and attempts to contact them have been ignored.
