      The sales Rep told me the factoring rate was 3% so I decided not to do it because I saw other companies charge 2% , but then he said Tafs would get me a trailer for $5 -$10/day which I thought was a great deal, so I decide to pay the higher factoring rate than other companies offer because the money I would be saving on a trailer would outweigh the loss on the factoring rate. After I was in the contract, I called Tafs about getting a trailer and they gave me a number to call, (they wouldn't tell me the number until after I signed the contract) and the person there would not rent me trailer, stating that they have not rented trailers for 2 years. He also said that Brokers take 30 days to pay which is a 1/2 truth and a whole lie.

      I love waiting 2 business days to get paid and having problems with 30% of my invoices If I submit my paperwork after 12:00pm Central time on Friday, I don't get paid until Tuesday Morning!

      Their app has little value because when you submit a POD, it changes it to black and white, so any gray just vanishes. When they review the POD, they'll say they can't read it and then you will have to re-submit and pay a new transaction fee if you had other invoices in that batch and wait another business day to get paid. It sure is nice to work directly with brokers now and not have anyone say "your paperwork is not clear"

      They auto-renew you unless you submit written notice 90-120 days prior to the end of the contract, during which time you will go back into auto re-new status if you submit any invoices that have not already been paid to Tafs by the broker.

      It took them until 4 days after the contact had ended to open my account and send me the letter of release. That makes a total of 10 days of missed work because of them. That is the thanks I get for giving them about 4k in factoring fees, 3 months of which the funds were not even factored because I had to wait until they got paid first!

      This literally one of the worst factoring companies known to man. If you factor your trucking company with them you will go out of business. They will purposely not process your invoices so you can get desperate for the money and process it faster were they'll charge you more. They put you in the ** contract for a year where you can only leave at certain times. The way they pay you is terrible. It goes through some stupid fuel card which will hurt your business by the money not going straight to your account. Please stay far away from the worst factoring company in Trucking!!!!!!!

      I signed a factoring agreement with TAFS but never submitted a single invoice or used any of their services. When I asked to cancel, they told me there was no way out of the contract, even though their own agreement says there's a $2,500 liquidated damages fee for clients who don't use the service. I even offered to pay that amount just to close the account, but they still refused and insisted I'm locked in for the full term.
      Now they're keeping a UCC filing on my business even though they haven't provided any services. I think it's very unfair and feels like they're just trying to trap small companies in long-term contracts. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Be very careful and make sure you fully understand what you're signing - better yet, talk to a lawyer first.

      Sadly been stuck with them an additional yr now. As usual it's always factor invoice, get pd but then if slightest issue , like they can't get ok from broker (happens sometimes) driver gets it handled then calls only to be treated like there an idiot. They talk down to us like we have no knowledge of the system. Driving 40+ years when they sit in an office with only paperwork knowledge. These folks can barely communicate with us, language barriers, when they do they get angry when asked to spell there name because u cannot understand them. Today a slight delay but still all sent in correctly b4 noon deadline yet still called by Valencia staying u won't get pd today.... I could tell she was angry because i had already told her I was filing a complaint with the FMCSA, BBB an anyone else I could. This company is horrible , there contract is confusing at best an now being stuck for another year thank goodness the people from another company helped with an exact window ( because there is only a 30 day cancelation window between 90-120 days) whatever u do please don't believe the good reviews all online as those are people who stated, like me, happiness at the beginning but haven't followed up with the bad out of fear of retaliation in not getting there pay. I'm in that fear too as they have us over a barrel but I'm filing complaints with everyone who will accept it In this industry until they release us or we get it canceled. I'm posting all over social media platforms, truckstops and an purchasing an email list for email blast to let all truckers know of the deceptive practices of the people at this company. please beware an do not make the mistakes we have with them. If ur looking for a factoring company check out truck smarter, 30 day contract is a great selling point on them. If u choose tafs anyway then I pray for you because u will need it. Ur frustration will cause much illness as with me it's even caused stress seizuresPlease don't do it!!

      Once again, we are not getting paid for our invoices!!!!
      SAME ISSUE LAST WEEK...
      We sent in $8200.00 worth of invoices this week.
      ONLY GETTING PAID FOR $2100.00
      Do not Factor With Tafs , They are putting us out of business.
      Looking forward to going to court.

      TAFS is a rip off there interest rates aren’t fixed so beware! Also my authority is no longer active and I emailed them to cancel the contract to get a LOR letter of release because they have a lien placed on my company. You have to cancel 90 days of the original contract date but not more than 120 days before then. FIND ANOTHER COMPANY TO FACTOR WITH! Pure Greed and they are recourse so if the broker doesn’t pay they come after you!

      Just like most there reviews. They are nice at selling you a dream to think they here to help you and your business . they are praying on people that are getting there authority up and running just to get you to sign up with them just to put a UCC lien on your business .. the manger was acting like they had no bad reviews. Which you can see all for yourself on BBB. They literally sitting in there offices checking online and calling everyone that got there authority up and running just to put a lien and bully you to stay with them. It’s all a scam. Just like they like to leave the message we only succeed if you succeed but are actually putting people in a bind. Don’t got time for all the bad this company is doing to people. I just want out before they end up doing me just like everyone else.

Your company signed a contract to work with TAFS in February, which gives TAFS permission to file a UCC. Your company has not yet attempted to factor an invoice as of yet.       Its been almost a year away from Tafs. We were able to finally get out of the contract and has been the best decision ever made. Tafs agreed on allowing us to have another factoring buy us out. Our new facoring purchased every outstanding invoice from tafs however few brokers around 20 decited to send money to TAFS since the NOA was send ititially by tafs. I collected most of them but there's still money that brokers are stating that payment were sent to tafs, not to mention that broker are stating that payments were sent out before the buy out even occured. After almost one year we are unble to collect payment. I blame tafs and brokers ( brokers are not much more help either ) however TAFS wont even communite with us anymore. They collected money and wont tell us where the payments are or if they were sent back to the broker ( there might be something in the contract that says they dont have to answer to us anymore but not sure). Overall, Tafs is bad business, they do no apply payments correcly, terrible communication from RS, TOOO MANY charge back almost weekly, where here at the factoring we have maybe around 10 in almost a year. I rather wait 30-90 days to get paid directly from the broker than do business with TAFS ever again.
