    ** went out July 5th made an appointment online for the following Monday. **** came out turns out that a warranty covered part needs replaced. Cool. Then it went downhill. Never heard an update from them Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. I called each day being told that I would be called from the dispatcher with a update. NEVER CALLED!!! Had an appointment scheduled for that Friday July 11th saying the part will be in and they will come out between 4pm-6pm. NO ONE EVER SHOWED!!!! I called at 604pm asking what was going on. Was told the same thing someone will call you back with an update. Monday morning July 14th 8am I'm on the phone going through the whole list of issues with a very nice woman named ******( she was very polite). Again was told a MANAGER would call me. NEVER called. The tech who was on the case called me that afternoon explaining the problem. Sadly I was not polite to him but at this point I have not slept well as my house has been hovering at 87 since this started. Explained that I will not be taking off anymore work to just sit around and hope they show up as this is what happened the previous week when I heard nothing from them. Sadly I have yet to hear back from the company about if they will be at the house for the now finished installation appointment for the part that will hopefully fix the ** issue. I get parts get delayed as I have common sense but the complete lack of communication is unacceptable and honestly at this point I should have the diagnostic fee returned. Honestly if the system wasn't covered under warranty with this company I'm not sure if I would do any further business with them.

    My house was 99 degrees, they came out a day early, didn't have the part, was going to be next day anyway, but when they saw the state my family was in, they sent another technician with the part to me and saved the day. Very kind, and very reasonable price. Highly recommend

    Would leave 0 stars if that was an option. ****** bought the company we used in the past, ***** heating and air. We called basset to fix our blower fan motor. Im not an hvac tech but its pretty easy to tell if a fan is not working. Scheduling was a mess. Tech came out and immediately said we had a leaking coil. Never even pulled out a meter to check the controls for the blower. Then proceeds to go to the outside unit and tell us that its junk because it wouldnt turn on. I had to show the guy that that the thermostat and breakers needed to be on to be able to test the equipment. Then proceeds to look up troubleshooting tips on ******* And of course suggested we needed an entire new system inside and out even though our system is not even 5 years old and still under warranty! They said it would 20k to replace. What a joke. We had a second opinion the same night, and had a fan ordered and put in a few days later. ***** was under warranty. Only cost a few hundred dollars for the mans labor. This company is trying to scam people out of thousands. The tech we had had no idea what he was doing. They had no intention of trying to help us fix a simple issue and instead wanted to charge us ***** thousand dollars to replace a 5 year old system.

    No communication, canceling or not showing up for appointments at all, not fulfilling yearly warranty program, maintenance checks have turned into sales pitches. This used to be a reputable company, but since expanding they are way over their head and can't get work scheduled or done in a respectable amount of time (as admitted by one of their managers). Would highly recommend staying away from this company!

    Have been a customer for years., When privately owned they were wonderful but when they were purchased by a greedy conglomerate their performance has become intolerable. Last spring they came out complete a spring service. What I got was a list of things that I should do for a total of more than $1600. This year I called for service and nothing is available until Oct., I know of 2 cases where furnaces were under 10 years old and customer was told the heat exchanger was cracked. Neither were true., Bassett wants to sell equipment not service. Not happy with Bassett and will be looking elsewhere for a reputable *************

    In August of 2013 the real Bassett Services Installed a new HVAC system in my home and serviced it for the next 10 years. In October of 2023 I was shedualed for my fall service. My regular service Guy could not make the appointment because he was unavaiIable. I did not know that the Company had been sold, so when I was told that I had a cracked heat exchanger 2 months after the warenty expired. I said Fix it, and was told that it would **** * weeks to get a new heat exchanger. In the interim my furnace would be red taged. I had to get a new furnace. It was installed the next day. I looked at my old furnace when it was moved to the driveway. the heat exchanger did not look like the one in the video. I found out later that the heat exchanger for that model is and was not out of stock at a big supply house in **********. The NEW Bassett Services made some very costly errors. I dont think that anyone checked on the heat exchanger. Bassett Services is no longer my Service Partner. I now employ a local company.

    Just purchased a new (to us) house and decided to call Bassett Services for some electrical work. We scheduled an appointment for the next day, our window was 8-12- fine. No one showed up. We call again, they say sorry, its going to have to be 2-4 tomorrow okay, fine. No one shows up. We call again, it will now be 4-6 on the same day, okay fine. NO ONE SHOWS UP. They were very eager to hype up their $20/mo service club, which we fell for hook, line, and sinker. We are now at the point where they refuse to even schedule an appointment because our case has been escalated to management. All this because I wanted to dry my clothes and needed someone to come out soon-ish. Bassett said they could do it, but have yet to actually deliver services.

    Basset Services solved my problem- thank you There was a miscommunication with one of their employees and I complained. But **** the service manager saw my complaint and called me. He then had his crew take care of our problem and they did a very professional job.Thank you Bassett we are glad to work with you.

    Bassett Services didnt fix my plumbing problem instead they gave me an estimate for $4,905 that still would not have fixed my problem. My husband fixed our plumbing problem and he is not a plumber and it took him less than 30 minutes and only $20. They wanted to tear up my house and charge me almost $5,000 for a job that only cost $20. They are just out for money. Not happy. Don't use Bassett Services.
