Harassment. They called my place of employment 5 times in one day to verify employment and would not tell me what for . THIS IS HARRASSMENT . Verifacts call my employer today and asked to verify employment with additional information. Our Hr Is not allowed to give that information out and I do know now what the company is calling about to get my personal information. I would like them to not phone or reach out to my employers. This company has called to verify employment several times and emailed this information requesting verification to a receptionist that answers phone. This is absolutely not appropriate to harass someones place of employment and send personal information out. I will be contacting an attorney to make this stop. This company called my job today, spoke with our elderly secretary and asked her to verify my salary, hours, and social security number. Refused to tell her who she was calling for. All submissions for employment verification need to be IN WRITING and not asked to a random secretary over the phone. I know she provided personal information without consent before transferring the call. I find it extremely suspicious to ask for personal details over the phone and not in writing.
