    Tell us why here...Our policy is to respond to all consumers. We mailed our initial response to the consumer in January 2023, to the address provided by our client.   We will send a request to the credit reporting agencies to note this account as disputed.  As the consumer noted, this account is specific to an automobile policy.  Our client indicates that there was a final balance on file.  On April 19, 2023, we mailed the consumer a copy of the validation to the address provided in this complaint.  As a 90-year old company, Caine & Weiner wants to help consumers in any way possible.  We encourage the consumer to call our office at ************ and ask for a manager for further assistance.  We may also be reached via our website at www.connectcw.com.

    I called ********************* because I don't even have a car and informed them that this company has reported a collection for $353 dollars which is 100% not me. After giving Progressive all my information they even confirmed that they never had me in their system but nothing was never done about the matter.I'm beyond responsible with paying all of my bills so I absolutely have no clue why this is on my credit report. I have never had a business relationship with progressive insurance or opened any account with them. As I stated I don't even drive a car. I am requesting it be removed immediately from all credit bureau!

    Our office received an account from the creditor ********************* with respect to this consumer in September 2018 for recovery of unpaid auto insurance premiums.   Initial correspondence was sent to the consumer at that time.  There is no record of any return mail.  Please note the balance due is not owed to Caine & Weiner.   We were collecting on behalf of the creditor, Progressive.  Additionally, this is not coverage for a current vehicle.  This delinquent invoice relates to a policy from 2018.  Progressive indicates coverage was provided for a 2007 Mercury C280 and a 2016 Jeep Wrangler on a policy ending in **** and that the final payment in June 2018 was insufficient to cover the premium balance due at the time of cancellation.  System notes indicate that Caine and Weiner has closed the account as 'Disputed'.   A request has been submitted to the respective credit bureaus to remove any negative trade lines associated with the consumer.  We are unsure how long it may take for the credit bureaus to update their records.  Although the file is closed in our office, the client, Progressive, reserves the right to pursue the balance as they deem necessary.  We encourage the consumer to contact our office at ************ if additional assistance is needed.

    Recently a collection from this company came on my credit report on EXPERIAN, ********************* I am not liable for this debt nor have a contract with them, also they do not have license to collect in my state which is *****. They are operating illegally! The account number is also incomplete, everything has to be 100% accurate for all 3 credit bureaus pursuant to U.S. Code 1681e(b) (b)Accuracy of report Whenever a consumer reporting agency prepares a consumer report it shall follow reasonable procedures to assure maximum possible accuracy of the information concerning the individual about whom the report relates.Account #: ********

    Our office received an assigned account from the creditor, ********************** with respect to this consumer May of 2020 for recovery of unpaid auto insurance premiums.  Initial correspondence was sent to the consumer at that time.  There is no record of any return mail.  Please note the balance due is not owed to Caine & Weiner.  The Progressive policy was cancelled in March 2020.  Creditor records indicate coverage was provided for a 2016 Buick Lacrosse on a policy ending in ************************************** March 2020 was insufficient to cover the remaining premium balance due at the time of cancellation.   Progressive still indicates that the balance is due.   The account is flagged as 'Cease & Desist' which means we are unable to contact the consumer either verbally or via written communication.  Please note, a cease and desist does not automatically remove an entry from the respective credit bureaus.  If the debt is valid the entry will reflect as such on the credit report even with a 'Cease & Desist' on file.  Our office will gladly review any documentation provided by the consumer with respect to the policy, vehicle, payment or coverage specifics for this account that *** indicate the creditor's records are not accurate.  The consumer *** contact or office at ************ for additional assistance.

    Stop adding bad credit to ones report when you dont have any idea about nothing. Never contacted they just put it on my credit I owe no one money from this company or anyone they were hired by. I have a security on my acct for a reason people like this that just want to hurt a us navy veteran. For no apparent proof of anything

    Our office received an account from the creditor, ********************** with respect to this consumer in April 2022 for recovery of unpaid auto insurance premiums.  Initial correspondence was sent to the consumer at that time.  There is no record of any return mail.  Please note the balance due is not owed to Caine & Weiner.  Our records indicate that the creditor still shows the balance as due by the consumer.   The consumer stated that she was covered by Liberty Mutual at this time.  If we can get a copy of the Liberty Mutual declaration page we will forward it to the creditor, Progressive.  The policy was cancelled in March 2022. Creditor records indicate coverage was provided for a 2016 Chevrolet Colorado and a 2015 GMC Sierra ***** on a policy ending in **** and that a payment made in February 2022 was insufficient to cover the premium balance due at the time of cancellation.  The file has been closed as 'Disputed' in our database and the credit agencies will be notified to remove any negative trade lines.  We are unsure as to how long it *** take for the credit bureaus to update their records.  Our office will gladly review any documentation provided by the consumer with respect to the policy, vehicle, payment or coverage specifics for this account that *** indicate the creditor's records are not accurate.     Dear CAINE & WEINER My name is ************************* and I am sending in the complaint today because this account that you are reporting to my credit report is in violation. CAINE WEINER (Original Creditor: 06 PROGRESSIVE), The account number is ********. I declare under penalty of perjury (under the laws of *****************, if executed outside of *****************) that the foregoing is true and correct to the best of my knowledge. Further, I certify that I am permitted by FEDERAL and STATE LAW to file this dispute. I also understand that knowing and willful misstatements or omissions of material facts constitutes a FEDERAL CRIMINAL VIOLATION punishable under 18 U.S.C. ****. Additionally, these misstatements are punishable as perjury under 18 U.S.C. ****. This item found within my credit report is not related to any transaction that I made. I am alleging that a person or company - without my authorization- used my personal identifying information to apply for goods, services, or money; and was successful in creating this account.     We initially responded to the consumer's complaint via BBB file 1093613.  Our initial response is as follows:  'Our office received an assigned account from the creditor, ********************** with respect to this consumer October  2018 for recovery of unpaid auto insurance premiums.  Please note the balance due is not owed to Caine & Weiner. System notes do not reflect any attempts by the consumer to reach our office.  Initial correspondence was sent to the consumer at that time. There is no record that the original correspondence was returned.  The Progressive policy was cancelled in September 2018. Creditor records indicate coverage was provided for a 2015 Dodge Charger on a Progressive account ending in ********************************* August 2018 was insufficient to cover the remaining premium balance at the time of cancellation of the policy.  Our records indicate that validation has been sent to the consumer several times.  Our records further indicate that the consumer's dispute has been investigated numerous times and there was no proof that the information provided by our creditor was inaccurate.  The information on the file matches the information provided by the consumer.  Our office will gladly review any documentation provided by the consumer with respect to the policy, vehicle, payment or coverage specifics for this account that *** indicate the creditor's records are not accurate.  We encourage the consumer to contact our office at ************ for additional assistance.'  As of this date the consumer has not provided documentation proving that the charges in question are invalid.  As stated in the original complaint, we look forward to assisting the consumer in anyway possible.

    this agency is in violation of my rights as a consumer. they have used my social security card without my consent by way of fraudulent use pursuant 15 USC ****. they have knowingly submitted my personal identification information to consumer reporting agencies along with false and fictious documents to make it seem like i owe this debt to there company when in fact i do not. the result of their deceptive behaviors they have successfully created this tradeline on my credit report which they shall be held liable under 15 USC ****, as this is aggravated identity theft under 18 USC 1028(a) as they have obtained my personal information by false pretense, making an extortionate extension of credit which shall be punishable under 18 USC 892. i demand you delete this tradeline across all consumer reporting agencies and no further action shall be taken on my end. failure to comply i shall take necessary steps in order to obtain justice due to your unfair and deceptive collection methods.

    We have responded to this consumer previously.  Our initial response was as follows: Our office received an account from the creditor, ********************** with respect to this consumer in March 2019 for recovery of unpaid auto insurance premiums. Please note the balance due is not owed to Caine & Weiner. Initial correspondence was sent to the consumer at that time. There is no record of any mail return.  The Progressive policy was cancelled in January 2019. Creditor records indicate coverage was provided for a 2010 ****** Corolla on a policy ending in **** and that the final payment in November 2018 was insufficient to cover the premium balance due at the time of cancellation. Our records indicate that validation was forwarded to the consumer numerous times.   Verification will be sent again for the consumer's perusal.  The information in our records match the information provided by the consumer.  Our office will gladly review any documentation the consumer has with respect to the policy, payment, or coverage specifics for this account that *** indicate the creditor's records are not accurate. The consumer *** contact our office at ************ for additional assistance.

    Currently, records indicate that we have not received any documentation from the consumer proving the account is invalid.  The account in question is currently closed in our database. We do not show any active trade line reporting on this account to the credit bureaus.  As of September 2022 we show that our negative trade line was deleted from the associated bureaus.    We are unsure as to how long it *** take for the credit bureaus to update their records.   The consumer should contact the respective bureau(s) if derogatory remarks are still appearing on her credit report.

    I am an identity theft victim. Ive notified this company this unfortunate circumstance and the purposely ignored me and continued reporting derogatory remarks to my consumer report. This is unjust and its also FRAUD

    Our office received an assigned account from the creditor, ********************** with respect to this consumer December 2021 for recovery of unpaid auto insurance premiums.  Please note the balance due is not owed to Caine & Weiner.  The balance is owed to the creditor, Progressive. Initial correspondence was sent to the consumer at that time. There is no record of any mail return.  Our office has made numerous unsuccessful attempts to discuss the matter with the consumer.  Our office mailed numerous Fraud letters to the debtor at the address provided in her complaint stating more information was needed.  We have not received any documentation from the consumer to support the claim of fraud.  The Progressive policy was cancelled in November 2021.  Creditor records indicate coverage was provided for a 2013 Tesla Model S and a 2007 Mercury R350 on a Progressive account ending in ********************************* September 2021  was insufficient to cover the remaining premium balance at the time of cancellation.  Our office will gladly review any documentation provided by the consumer with respect to the policy, vehicle, payment or coverage specifics for this account that *** indicate the creditor's records are not accurate.  We encourage the consumer to contact our office at ************, if additional assistance is required.

    I submitted this complaint in June 2022. It is nearly October 2022 and Under 15 U.S. Code 1681s2 - Responsibilities of furnishers of information to consumer reporting agencies- (3) you failed to notate this account was in dispute within 30 days now this account in violation. You are required by law to correct the report that Ive never gave you permission to publish in the first place.
    Under 15 U.S. Code 1692e.False or misleading representations- (8) you failed to notate this account was in dispute within 30 days now these accounts are in violation. Please see attached files in regards to my status and fee schedule. Please be aware that if the invoices arent paid due to your neglect, there will be lawsuits/claim of liens being processed.
