    As per our last response, we must report accurate information to the credit reporting bureaus.  Our records indicate the charges are valid. The consumer has not provided information indicating the charges are not valid.   The contract was not signed with Caine & Weiner. The client, Progressive, must provide the original contract.  Our office will gladly review any documentation provided by the consumer with respect to the policy, vehicle, payment or coverage specifics for this account that *** indicate the creditor's records are not accurate. To date, we have not received any type of fraud documentation.     This account is showing on my credit report although I was told if I pay the account in full it will be deleted from my credit report. I paid it in full on 05/20/2020 with this companys representative by the name of ****. I called again on 07/01/2023 at 2:23pm and spoke with Elexa from this company who confirmed that this account was supposed to be deleted from my credit report and she could not understand why it was still there and she said it was going to be taken care of. I called again on 08/05/2023 at 10:15am and spoke with Destiny who escalated it to a manager (*****************) to make sure its removed. This company has been playing this game with my credit report for years. I demain this to be removed from my credit report immediately. This collection has caused be a lot of problems when I cant get any kind of credit because of it. Again, I demand this account to be deleted from my credit or I will escalate this to a suit.

    The consumer's provided information did not match records in our system.  The consumer's address and email does not match to any account in our system.  If it is possible that the account was established under a previous address, that address would be helpful.  Our office wishes to assist the consumer in any way possible.     Dear Better Business Bureau, I am writing to file a complaint against Cane and Weiner for violating 15 USC **** section 604 (a) section 2 of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (****). This section states that a consumer must give written authorization before a business can furnish information on their credit report. On April 11, I discovered that Caine and Weiner had provided information on my credit report without my written authorization. This violation of the **** has not only affected my credit score but has also put my privacy at risk. As a consumer, I have the right to protect my Non Public Information under the **** and the Gramm *********************** ACT and have it disclosed only for permissible purposes. Additionally, Caine and Weiner did not have permissible purpose to obtain my credit report, which violates 15 ** **** of the ****. This is a direct violation of the laws set forth in the ****, and I will be moving forward to litigate. I demand that Caine And Weiner immediately delete any unauthorized information they have furnished to the credit reporting agencies and take corrective measures to prevent this from happening in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter. 15 U.S. Code **** - Obligations with respect to disclosures of personal information (1)In general A financial institution may not disclose nonpublic personal information to a nonaffiliated third party unless (A)such financial institution clearly and conspicuously discloses to the consumer, in writing or in electronic form or other form permitted by the regulations prescribed under section **** of this title, that such information may be disclosed to such third party POTENTIAL GLBA PENALTIES Financial institutions found in violation face fines of $100,000 for each violation. Individuals in charge found in violation face fines of $10,000 for each violation. Individuals found in violation can be put in prison for up to 5 years. This complaint has also be sent to my lawyer as well.
