      On May 15, 2025, *** illegally towed our 2023 *** from the visitor parking spaces. The company claims does not match the evidence. They claim the car was picked up at 9:40, which is impossible as we were standing where the car was parked at 9:38. They claimed to have taken pictures of the car but when asking, they dont claim to provide them but were "right there". The two other cars also in the visitor spot were not touched as this is a targeted issue.We have pictures proving there was a pass and we have permission to be there.

      Complaints have been filled. This company doesn't have a ground to stand on so they deflect. **** and the state are involved but giving the business a chance to rectify before getting destroyed in court. Their loss.

      This is a towing service that took my vehicle and left a nicer vehicle that was actually not permitted to be there. This almost borders on socioeconomic discrimination. My main concern is that you do not get to see anyone that you are working with because they are hidden behind a one way mirror, they improperly fill out their invoices, and there is significant body damage to my vehicle. When I called to inquire about this issue, they told me that is not their problem and hung up the phone, then refused to answer my calls at all.

      The mentioned recovery company towed my car from a apartment complex ,eventhough the car was registered with a parkingpass as a visitor . They argue that the permit didn't include that the plate was a Fire Fighter edition. They charged $240 to release it.

      I parked my truck on the opposite side of the street from where the towing sign was; therefore, did not see the sign. I went into the store and came out within 20 minutes and had a boot on tractor trailer. When the tow guy came, he said I had to pay $1400 for them to take the boot off in cash. They charge the same price for towing and for a boot. And they make you pay cash. And the two guy was very aggressive towards me that I had to call the police and did not even want to help. I will be taking you to court.

      Car was towed from building where I reside. The permit was in the vehicle. The permit was not visible because I got home late and forgot to place it. The permit was in the vehicle. The car is registered under my name and to that property. I explained it to the business to at least request a partial refund in order to compensate me for the inconvenience and for getting to work late that morning. I got disciplined at work due to arriving late.

      Northwest Recovery dba NWR Transport in **********************, towed my ********** Atlas from a private property on November 25th, and gave me no notification of it. I was out of the state at the moment for a vacation. I have a job that provides me with a company car, and the car that was towed is my personal vehicle that I love, it was parked in front of my condo building. I called the towing company and was immediately told that the car was "gone" and that it is on a junk yard, that I was sent a certified letter. I explained that I never received the letter and asked for a copy, they refused to provide the copy of the letter or proof it was sent out. Later that day I went to the above mentioned towing company and was told that the car is there and that I have to pay $1590 to recover it. They don't accept debit cards and I left to find the *** to get cash. After I returned with cash they told me that their manager said that the car was gone since 12/26/24. I went outside and looked through the fence and spotted my car hidden on their parking lot. I took pictures of it and told them that I saw my car and that I will pay whatever it takes, but they said that it is a mistake and that the car belongs to them, they refuse to release the car because I abandoned it. I said I never abandoned and would NEVER abandoned my car and that I need a proof of the letters they sent or any other proof, but again they refused to provide anything. The *** police I contacted suggested that I file a lawsuit which I will as this situation is beyond normal They practically stole my car and ate holding it hostage without me knowing, lying it wasn't with them anymore, even though it is and leaving me nor room to recover it, and now claiming to be theirs. This is a scam and a theft.

      We did everything on our end per the state of Illinois law.  Two certified letters were mailed out to the registered owner of the vehicle.  After a 16 days the vehicle becomes property of the towing company.  As it states on the letters that were mailed if the vehicle is not picked up by said date it would be sold at auction.  The **************************** Police came to my location and reviewed all of our paper work and found us in the right by state law.

      We have lived in the area for 16 years. Our car was parked at the designated spot like it has been for the past 16 years. Woke up on December 3, 2024 fearing that our car was stolen. Without a notice our car was taken from our parking lot. The reason was no registration which we werent notified about. When we went to the *** business they operated like a scam. We couldnt see who we were talking to at all. Our car seat was dirty as somebody has sat in it. The ladies working there were really rude and unhelpful. *** stole our car and demanded an above average price for an unlawful reason. Took our car and gave us an ultimatum.

      NORTHWEST REPOSSESSION/RECOVERY ON 07/18/24 My ****************************************************************** Which my **** Fusion was Damaged; My Car Was Drugg FOR 53 MILES by this companys tow truck driver For ABSOLUTELY NO REASON @ ALL., I have tried Negotiating with this company for over 5 weeks with NO success, I have asked if I could come in to review Surveillance Camera Footage From The Tow & The Duration of time that my car was on their ************** Told NO, Why?, if theres truly Nothing to hide?, Correct? CORRECT!.. I want my Damages To my car To be paid for by Northwest Repossession Since their Driver Was Negligent, ******************** Thats all I am asking for; I should not have to drive a damaged car that wasnt damaged prior to this & then You (((NORTHWEST REPOSSESSION))) get away with what you did. Im sorry NO, We live in the real world..Now Im stuck with a almost $4400.00 repair bill for cosmetic damages, & another $500 for an Axle that was damaged & a wheel alignment $110 for 2 rear tires, $125 for a private tow ((I have a receipt as well as driver willing to say he saw condition of the car & ALSO RE-CONNECTED THE LINKAGE TO THE TRANSMISSION IN WHICH NORTHWEST REPOSSESSIONS DRIVER DISCONNECTED))).. PLEASE BBB MAKE THIS COMPANY BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. Thank you ??

      My car was repossessed by this company. I called my loan servicer to find out how I could get my car back. They gave me an amount that would have to be paid. I immediately payed the amount. The loan servicer said to wait an hour while the paperwork went through and gave me the towing companys phone number to call. I called the number after an hour and a message they were closed and their business hours are from 9am-3pm Mon-Friday. It said you could book an appointment online. I tried that but had problems booking an appointment. The next morning at 9am I called the office. A representative answered my call and I asked for help retrieving my car. He said I have to make an online appointment. I went online and the earliest I could make an appointment was the following Monday. I did that. I received a text from them saying they received my appointment request. A day later I received another text saying that my appointment was declined and to contact my finance company. I did that on Saturday morning and no one could help me at the finance company because its a weekend. This towing company is holding my car hostage and charging $25 a day storage charge. I also have to pay $50 a day for a rental car for work. I am extremely frustrated and hope you can help me.

      I got my work van towed and was given an original receipt. I paid $520 and lost the original paperwork. I called to request a copy and was given so many reasons why they cannot provide one. I have never heard of a "law" that prohibits a company from providing a copy of something YOU paid to them. They continued to hang up on me and call me out of my name. Extremely unprofessional business.
