Hello,I have reached out multiple times about my case and I have only spoke with REMOVEDthe person assigned to my case one time. This has been going on for weeks with zero resolution. I would like to speak with who REMOVEDreports to and who is over seeing her caseload while shes out please. Do I need to file a complaint with the BBB against your client Sunglass Hut due to the negligence of this case? REMOVEDhas quickly resolved their end im not sure whats the hold up with Sunglass Hut. After reaching out sending several emails everyday and leaving voicemails I finally receive a call from the person that is over seeing my case while REMOVEDis out REMOVED. REMOVEDwasnt much help and stated that no movement will take place until REMOVEDcomes back from vacation which is 4/24/2023. I asked for his managers contact info and he provided me with REMOVED. Reached out to REMOVEDvia email to address my concerns and left my contact info 4/17/2023. REMOVEDacknowledged receipt of my email on 4/17/2023. I rented a storage space at public storage REMOVEDinsurance coverage to protect my property was a requirement and paid in addition to rent. The space I was renting as well as adjacent spaces were flooded therefore my furniture was totally damaged beyond repair. To avoid further rent charges I was told by the manager to leave the open the space so she could REMOVED. So I rented a Penske truck and hired people to remove my property and dispose of it at the county location in REMOVED. I have receipts and witnesses. Now the insurance company is offering a settlement for the ridiculous amount of $72. My furniture was worth more than $10,000Initial Complaint

Sedgwick had previously approved my medical leave from 12/28/22-02/28/23. On 02/21/23 I submitted my last medical review that released me to full time duty. On March 3, 2023 they called me and let me know that based on my last review I should have been back to work on 02/07/23 based on ther nurses opinion. Which makes no sense as on 02/02/23 I had additional medical issues that prompted my pcp to submit me for labs to find whats is going with me. On March 5 I submitted my appeal along with medical documents supporting my appeal. By early morning of 03/06 Sedgwick had already denied my claim without properly reviewing my documents I had sent before. They informed that my Hr would be collecting the money back I got paid from 02/07-02/28/22. Nobody is doing their job to help and they are financially hurting me as nobody wants to pay for 02/27 and my check might be garnished for their own fault. They have completely discourage me from filing an intermittent leave of action because I still have health problems and they also used up my sick time without my consent.Initial Complaint

On January 3, 2023, I suffered property damage due to a leak in the roof of my apartment complex. As a courtesy to the apartment complex and property manager, I first attempted to recover my damages through my renter's insurance. That claim was denied due to the nature of the leak. On January 26, 2023, my property manager advised me that spoke with her regional manager and that they would have the damages covered and paid for on their end through their insurance company, Sedgwick. In light of this having been the second leak of this nature, my property manager advised she would have my damages covered on their end through Sedgwick. I made multiple attempts to contact the claims adjuster with Sedgwick, REMOVED, from January 27th until February 14th. She finally contacted me ONE time on February 15 to inform me she was handling the claim and that she had everything she needed to recover my damages. Since then, I have made multiple attempts to contact her via email and phone to get an update. She is giving me the run-around and not properly handling my claim. Sedgwick makes it impossible to escalate a claim or to find alternative resources for assistance or status. She informed my property manager that she didn't see any reason not to pay my damages, however; she still continues to tell me that claim is in "review" with zero updates. I provided everything they needed and was told it would be paid and have been waiting over six weeks for payment and/or resolution. There is no reason this should be taking so long when they have already accepted fault other than they are trying to avoid having to pay. I want them to pay for my damages as they promised.Initial Complaint

My complaint is because I filed an insurance claim on January 6th. I spoke with the adjuster and was instructed to send emails and she would get back to me. I have not heard from the adjuster at all since then. I have been bounced around trying to get in touch with my adjuster. I have sent numerous emails, left voicemails, and written letters trying to get a response from the insured for 90 days. The urgency is because I have exposed electrical wiring and I am trying to get it taken care of before something really bad happens but I do not know the claim process. Sedgwick's insured is a general contractor that I hired during the home purchase process. I hired him to go through the inspection, access the repairs needed, and to advise if this was a safe home. The insured was not knowledgeable, nor licensed and could not pull permits even though he stated in writing that he could. He "replaced" my electrical box and it is not up to code, there are exposed wires, and other parts that make this very dangerous. The insured also because the process to replace my existing hvac system. All of the insurance and duct work was pulled out from under my home so that I no longer have central heating or air conditioning. To correct the damage that was done, I am being quoted over $50,000 worth of damages. I need to get this work completed for multiple reasons. My daughter is has a health condition that I have to keep her medications cool on top of random breakers in my box randomly tripping..... Thank You!!!!REMOVEDInitial Complaint

We have no direct contact with the manufacturer REMOVEDOur warranty contact was through Sedgwick and this has been an on going issue. We have had our claim transferred to another General REMOVEDwho has not pro-actively kept us informed. We are asking for our deductible since we could not wait for our living area to be repaired. We finally contacted our homeowners and filed the claim with them and the job was completed last July. After signing a release we expected payment which has not happened. I have included copies of costs to home and the release form. It has been over 30 days since we signed release and no payment has been made.Initial Complaint

We purchased a brand new vehicle 03/2021 for my husband to use for work based on the needs for that job and the company he worked for had stipulations for vehicle and covered all of the insurance of the vehicle. In July of 2021 he was involved in an accident while working in this vehicle to no fault of his own. We were without of vehicle for almost 6 months while repairs were being made. REMOVEDwas repairing vehicle and between them and my husband the payments for damages were paid through the insurance company and Sedgwick oversaw the claim and paid for damages. Since this there has been a constant problem and noise that was found to be the left from axel which was where the impact in the collision was and after taking it to REMOVEDService and speaking with REMOVEDis was determined the claim needed to be reopened for a supplemental repair. This was done on 11/29/2022 by REMOVEDat REMOVEDand on 11/30/2022 REMOVEDat Sedgwick had opened up a supplement and asked REMOVEDto call the IA for rush completion. At this time a pdf file with the amount for the supplement was given to REMOVEDand we were just awaiting payment to be received so vehicle could be repaired. After weeks of waiting REMOVEDand myself reached out and REMOVEDreplied that it was a different department that would release payment for supplement repair. Since this REMOVEDand myself have called several phone numbers, emailed numerous times and all Sedgwick keeps doing it passes it off to another name "to help". There has been as many as six plus people mentioned to help with no return phone calls after leaving voice messages and the last name given in charge was REMOVED, she never answered her phone or returned calls but returned email asking for amount owed even though in this recent email I had attached their own supplement review pdf with amount on it. REMOVEDimmediately replied with the amount and that was last Monday and she has yet to respond again.
