    I purchased a microplush reversible electric throw blanket from Target on November 19,2022 for my husband. He has used it almost daily for a few hours. As of last nigh, February 27, 2023 the blanket has stopped working entirely. I googled the trouble shooting for it (unplugged it, plug in a new outlet) the controller will turn on like usual but the blanket itself will not heat up. I have tried to access their website to file the warranty claim since last night, and keep getting error messages that the page cannot be reached. I have been on hold for customer service for 2 hours this morning with no answer.

    I purchesed 4 of there headed blankets in the past few months and they sent out and stopped working and so i file a warranty claim and they give you the run around as tell you to call this number and they tell you to email and only to find out they are known for this and seems like they dont care

    Received a Buffalo check electric throw for Christmas. I used it 3-4 times and it just stopped working. I emailed the company and they will not respond. If you check their ******** profile they have multiple complaints in regards to their electric blankets no matter the size. They need to reimburse or replace the products, especially when they supposedly have a 5 year warranty. Send me a refund and Ill replace the blanket from a different company that will stand behind their product.

    I purchased a blanket last December and this December when I decided to bring it out to use it it shocked me multiple times. I tried to reach out to their customer service back in December and still have not gotten a response back. I did let them know that the blanket was shocking me and still no response. The blanket I have offers a five year warranty however Biddeford has not honor their warranty. I paid over $50 for the item expecting it to last and not even a year of use and it goes out. Not only could I have been electrocuted but this could be a fire hazard.

    I purchased this product for my wife for Christmas and it stopped working after one use. The controller has a burnt smell. I tried to contact the company and have not gotten any responses from them.

    On January 9th, I purchased a Biddeford Heated Blanket/Throw from Ollies. I was advised by the cashier that they had problems with them and saw a lot of returns. I told her I'd give it a try and hold onto my box/receipt just in case. It worked great and after a week of using it nightly I finally got rid of those items, figuring I was one of the lucky ones. 2 weeks later towards the end of January it died, the control light would not turn on and the blanket would not heat up. I have tried contacting Biddeford about this by email and phone. I have called them daily for the past 10 days and have stayed on hold from ***** min each time using ************ and ************ but no one answers. No one has responded to my emails either. i simply want to get a functional replacement. I can do nothing but wait for them and I'm tired of waiting, so I'm opening this in hopes that they actually respond and fix the issue.

    My son bought me a queen size electric blanket in December as my Christmas present. He paid $60.00 plus tax. He doesn't have the receipt and of course I don't due to it being a gift. I've contacted the Biddeford company twice with no response to rectify this problem. I never washed it and it has no damage. It just stopped working. I will never buy any product from this company again cause it's obvious they do not care about their customers!

    Purchased several of these blankets over the years and every single one stops working randomly. I have not had a single blanket last even ONE year. The warranty cards are a joke because the company will not return my emails on their contact site. I stopped filling them out because they are worthless. The last one, ordered from Target.com on 9/19/2022, just stopped working today, 1/27/2023. I am 5 days past the Target return window. Each blanket controller becomes non-functioning after a short amount of time and won't light up or power on. This particular one was 4 months with using maybe once a week. How is there not a class-action lawsuit out there? All of the reviews on Target.com state the same issues.

    I bought a heated blanket model 0BG01 tracking number S142GJ2030519. The controller stopped working and heating the blanket. I have purchased TWO replacement controllers and both of them worked when plugged into the wall but as soon as I plugged them into the blanket an electrical burning odor was immediate and BOTH controllers stoped lighting up or working. I called and asked for a replacement blanket and new controller as the blanket was purchased not too long ago and should still be under warranty. They advised me to send in the blanket and controller but that I would not receive a replacement blanket until my OLD blanket is received. So in the meantime am I supposed to freeze with no blanket and the prices of heating my home skyrocketing. Why wouldnt this company just send a replacement blanket now and get the broken blanket after their new one has arrived so the customer wouldnt be without a blanket? It is a bad practice and now with slower shipping times I will be without a blanket for who knows how long. I still have yet to receive the return label from the company as well? Can somebody from the company please send a replacement blanket and controller Im so cold! Please send a return label as well..
