Dont do it, the repair man never showed up, ordered parts from ****** ! not ******* certified DON'T DO IT, I waited 4 hours today for repair man to show up, and they never did. Took me half hour to find a phone number to call for a human to pick up (all AI - useless), I had to hit the option "buy warrenty" to get a human, I spoke to 10 different people, they told me that my appointment was moved to Aug 6th, without my approval or consent. They were supposed to call or text me but they never did. I took off from work, and wasted 4 hours this am. I wanted to speak to their manager , they put me on hold for 1 hour : 32 minutes, then my call was re-routed to the options menu, they never intended to pick up my call. what a waste of my time. Buyers remorse. Please save yourself and go with a local Appliance repair company , these appliances are not that complicated. Found out my tech ordered new parts to be delivered to my house, they came from AMAZON -and are chinese. That is why they only warrenty the parts for 30 days, bc they know there is high likelihood for them to go bad - not approved Kenmore parts which is what I thought was getting shipped to my house. so sketchy - AMAZON parts coming to my home. Save yourself - Sears is not what it used to be, dont use them, you too will regret it.

I am a paying customer of ********************** Home Warranty, and Ive experienced repeated, unacceptable failures in service. Our fridge failed in April 2025. Despite multiple appointments, a known defect diagnosis, and part replacements, it failed again causing multiple rounds of food spoilage. We had three confirmed no-call/no-show visits, stayed home for 8-hour windows, and received false tech tracking updates showing the tech never left *************We received no work order numbers, and emails to support bounced. After being left without a working refrigerator and no resolution, we were forced to purchase a new one out-of-pocket, even though the unit was only 4 years old.We are paying monthly for this warranty, and expect compensation for the new appliance, spoiled food, and lost time and cancellation of the plan with no penalty. Sears has not replied to our messages, including one sent to the CEOs ********* NOT recommend this company for warranty coverage or service. We are escalating this through every possible channel.

In November 2024, our refrigerator stopped cooling and the food in the freezer melted all over. I called Sears as I had a warranty. *********** came out just before Thanksgiving 2024. Some parts were ordered. The tech came back 3 weeks later, and when he checked the parts that were sent, one of them was defective, so the repair couldnt be done. New parts were ordered. The tech finally came back in February as the appointment in January was cancelled by Sears. The refrigerator did not work after the February appointment and new parts were ordered. The tech was back in March and put in a new defroster, fan and motor. The refrigerator was still not working. Sears scheduled a virtual meeting w another tech. He ordered more parts. The tech came back in April 2025 to put them in. The refrigerator was still not working. The technician refused to fill out the forms to say that the refrigerator could not be repaired. The Tech was scheduled to come in May, and my appointment was cancelled after waiting all day. It was then rescheduled for another 2 weeks and that appointment was also cancelled by Sears after I waited all day. I had another virtual meeting w a tech in *****. Still no resolution.I have called Sears at least 30 times. I have spoken to the resolution department many times, In January of 2025 I was told that my matter is being escalated. Nothing was resolved. They said that they would send $50 for my inconvenience! Haha what a joke! So, 2 new technicians came last week, July 2025. They do not know what is wrong with the refrigerator. They would not fill out the necessary form to say that it isn't working. They want to try some more parts! It has been 9 months to try to get the refrigerator repaired! Crazy. I will never get a warranty from Sears again. I would have been better off to call a local, family owned appliance repair service and pay for the repair.I wish that I could give a negative rating.Dont waste your time and money.

The compressor went out on our ******* refrigerator for the second time 7 weeks ago. We have Sears Home Protect but we waited 10 days for an appointment. After one cancelled diagnostic appointment we were informed that we could not get it repaired for another 3 weeks. Today the appointment to install the parts was cancelled for the second time on the day it was scheduled. We have been told every time that the problem has been escalated with no resulting solution. I would not recommend this company to anyone under any circumstances.

I called Sears Home Services to repair my dryer. It was impossible to talk to a human representative. The **** chat limits what you can ask and was not helpful. I finally made an appointment. The repairman said I needed a very expensive part, which I paid for, and he ordered. I waited all afternoon for my next scheduled appointment. They sent an **** text cancelling. I have an expensive part but no resolution. I have never encountered such horrible service from a large corporation. You cannot talk to a real person. I feel as if I am being ripped off and am unsure if this is a legitimate organization. They send text messages, but I cannot respond as I use a flip phone. I cannot understand how this company can be approved by the BBB. There are many similar complaints on the web. I am expecting the repairman tomorrow afternoon but have my doubts that anyone will show.If a company wants to use AI they should have a system that answers real questions, not a limited menu. This is incredibly frustrating and expensive (about 600 dollars so far) and unresolved. I do not feel that this company cares about me as a customer. The contrast with service from other major companies is *****. I worry that this will never get resolved. I should get a discount for their failure to keep appointments and inability to respond to customer needs. I would never, ever consider purchasing a product from, recommending, or doing business with Sears again.

We had a freezer stop working. A technician came to diagnose and fix problem. He strongly encouraged buying the protect home warranty package. We purchased the 12-appliance package and were told we could pick any appliance to be added. We still had to pay almost $400 to repair the freezer. In less than 2 months the same issue happened again. When we called, they told us that upright freezers are not covered. Each department we called told us something different and sent us to a different department. We were eventually told we would have to pay full price for the same repair, parts, and service call. We would never, ever recommend this company based on our experience.

Please do not get Sears warrenty I purchase I fridge from Sears in 2015 not knowing there was a manufacture defects with that model. Was never informed by Sears. Within 5 months the fridge broke down. Called Sears and it only then I found out about the defect. I was offered to now purchase ******** from the very company that sold me a defective product. Since then the fridge has broken down several times. Sears refused to give me a replacement fridge. Either I encounter difficulty getting a replacement part or the repair person never shows up. Even we they do show up, Im told the replacement part should arrive it didnt.

After 20 plus years of paying Sears for two protection agreements for central air units, most recently $1500/year, to remain compliant and trying to get them to come for the yearly maintenance, they did not show up and provided no notice, waited to reschedule, the tech that came did not do the check up correctly. When we called the department, they agreed and said we needed to have it done correctly. Another wait, and today was the scheduled day. After multiple emails and texts confirming, again they texted that they are not coming. I requested a refund for the agreement and they are prorating it to $124.
