Purchased a $1000 Bosch dishwasher from ABT. It arrived with missing parts and water/mold inside. I called to complain and discuss my suspicions this was a used machine, they assured me it was not. When my plumber tried to connect it, the water supply was craked, spraying water everywhere, *** told me to call Bosch, they would do nothing for me! The worst customer service, never will ever deal with these people ever again!Business Response

I am sorry for the condition of the dishwasher delivered to the customer. While the unit was brand new in the box, the customer sent me pictures of the inside, and it is moldy/mildewed inside. The packing material is still inside further indicating that it was a new unit, but I wouldn't want that unit either. I have contacted the customer and I am arranging replacement.Initial Complaint

*** advertised a $1,000 refund/credit when an ** appliance four-piece package was purchased. I spent $12,000 on the package of a refrigerator, oven/stove, microwave and dishwasher. All pieces arrived/were delivered to my home on the same day. In following up on the $1K rebate, the salesman is telling me I'm not eligible because of a "back ordered" piece in the set. Nothing was back ordered. All four pieces arrived at the same on the same day. I don't understand why *** is negating my $1K credit from **. There was never any mention of a concern during point of sale. I had to reach out to understand the delay. Instead of the salesman calling me to explain, he sent a text saying the back order is the issue. This is madness. I tried to resolve through a manager and he was not helpful. I feel like *** falsely advertised the rebate from ** and is, for some reason, not honoring what was shared to me at point of sale. For a $12K purchase, I don't understand why I'm being treated like a economy buyer. My family and I have been loyal to *** for other purchases but this has soured my experience. No one is reaching out to me. I just want the $1K rebate/credit that was supposed to come from ** through Abt.Business Response

As this is a mfr rebate and not an Abt rebate, I called to inquire if they had received a rejection from the mfr and what the reason for rejection was. Since Consumer Reports always rates ABT highest on customer service, I ordered ********** 55 QLED. It worked for less than 3 months, now wont even come on at all. ABT sent ******* tech & replaced power board. TV came on with horrible lines, that moved from side to side. Tech called support and recommended replace whole TV screen. Tech even commented that he had never seen anything like this. Now they want to replace another power board and entirely new TV screen. I wanted a new TV, not a totally rebuilt one. No telling if this will work at all. I paid the money, tv had 1 year warranty and ABT advertises Easy Returns on all their literature. Full refund and let me purchase a new tv that works. Im in ************** and should not be responsible for hundreds of dollars in packing and postage fees. If this is what ******* produces I want nothing to do with a replacement model.Business Response

The repair company has been here. Their attempt at repair failed and now they are ordering an entire screen which cost as much as what I paid for this piece of junk. ABT should have ******* send an entire new model or send me a check (check is preferable) for what I paid. Now the repair company says the part has not come in and this is just ludicrous.

In early April I had a refrigerator delivered. The delivery driver knocked a picture off of my wall and broke it, and yanked a very heavy old refrigerator door off which dropped onto and hit my kitchen floor very hard. These incidents were both documented in my post delivery survey, and I was contacted by manager ***** to compensate me for the broken picture. ***** asked if there was damage to the floor, for which there was not at the time right after delivery. We just wanted the door incident documented because it was something he should not have done. Approx. 2.5 weeks later, a piece of the laminate flooring in direct line of where the door hit started to pop up. I contacted *** explaining the situation. I was assigned to *************************************. Approximately 1.5 weeks later, I contacted ****** again to see where the case stood, and she stated that *** would not be able to do anything and went on to give me details which were untrue. Her statements, with explanations as to why they are issues, are as follows:1. The driver has no recollection of the door hitting the floor ( absolutely false! The door hit our floor so hard it made a huge noise and my husband and I were both standing there to witness this)2. She stated that floor protection was used. She provided a photo of the protection that was put down for the new refrigerators install, but I did request a photo of the protection being down when the old refrigerator was removed and when this incident occurred as we dont recall them using any during that time period. She ignored my request. This email was sent to me on May 12. On May 13, I sent ****** an email explaining my upset over a delivery driver flat out lying and asking to speak to someone further about this. No Reponse from her. I followed up with 2 emails on May 21 and May 27, simply asking for further assistance. I have received no response at all. I am beyond disgusted with ABTs customer service, as well as the dishonesty of your delivery drivers!!!Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I have returned the managers call and have not heard back from him. The floor tile popped up in the exact spot the door hit very shortly after the incident. Coincidence? Your driver flat out lied about what he did, saying it never hit the floor when it absolutely did. Your associate never acknowledged this lie and refused to respond to three emails I sent her requesting further assistance on the matter. But it's no fault of ABTS? Ok!

Hi I am contacting you in regards to an online order I have with ABT Electronics. My order # with them is 0529303QEDP. The tracking number associated with my order is 1Z5281860372818711 via **** I never received my shipment, and when looking at the tracking, all I see that it was undeliverable. I tried to resolve this with them, but all they said is that *** has proof that it was delivered (which it clearly states it was not) and that they can not help me further. I am rejecting this response. I am not sure how a package can both be delivered and undeliverable simultaneously. Could this not be a case where *** preemptively marked something as delivered? It's fairly common that *** will mark something as delivered and deliver it the next day or the day after. As I said, I still haven't received the items. I contacted you guys last week when I noticed the *** tracking showed that it wasn't able to be delivered, and was told I would receive a response back, but I never did. I contacted you guys again this week and you guys said there was nothing else you could do. Surely, that's not true?

I bought a dishwasher from Abt in 2018. It had a few problems but since I had purchased the warranty, the issues were all fixed for free. My warranty expired in February 2023. I had a technician fixing some things and ordering parts a month before the warranty expired. Last month, April 2023, a little hook on my top rack broke making the top rack not sit on the bars correctly. I called and asked if I could order that part and how much it is. A very nice manager said that the part would only be $20 and and that the other parts were also in and since it's so close to my warranty having expired, the labor to fix it would be free. I told him I am willing to buy a part for both sides because it would only be about $50 and it makes no sense to pay much more for a five-year-old dishwasher when new ones are not that much. He agreed. I only had to pay for the $20 part that needed to be replaced. I agreed and a technician came out. He had a huge bag of parts and I asked him several times why he had so many things to install when there was nothing wrong except that one part. He said this is what was ordered. I thought maybe some of these things were from the previous warranty order. After he was done installing the parts, he said, "You have quite a bill here!" I asked him to see it and told him what the manager had told me but he refused to show the bill to me and said the manager would call me. I never got a call but a bill for $514.05. I called Abt four times after that and they told me I owe the money. Then they said they could take $100 off the bill or buy a new dishwasher. I was angry. Now they are telling me that they are coming to remove all the parts they installed on my dishwasher BUT they are not giving me my old parts back, parts that worked fine except for one little plastic **** I could have fixed with a paperclip! So essentially they will not return my property and are taking parts that make me not be able to use my dishwasher properly.Business Response

I purchased a Kitchenaid ******************************** microwave combination oven (KOCE507ESS) on 12/10/22. The microwave works but the oven has never worked. I had a service appointment scheduled for 1/17/23, to troubleshoot the issue. The oven was inspected and determined to need a new sensor and a new jack ****** It took quite some time for the parts to come in and once the parts were installed in March, it was determined that *** and control needed to be replaced as well. Two months later on May 8th it was determined that a panel, control and *** were needed to be ordered. At this point the only solution I see is replacing this broken oven with a brand new oven in a timely fashion. I am a senior citizen, I have been without an oven for over 5 months.Business Response

Eighteen months ago I purchased a whole-house water filtration system from ABT Electronics. Approximately six months after purchase, I attempted to change the filter on the system and was unsuccessful. I contacted *** and informed them I was having difficulty changing the filter and was informed that they would send their plumber out to show me how to change the filter at a cost of $99.00. So six months later I attempted to change the filer as instructed by their plumber and again was unsuccessful. I contacted *** again and was informed the only way the filter can be changed is by a plumber using their tools and I would have to pay an additional $99.00 to come to my home again to change the filter. I did so on May 19, 2023 and paid $99.00 for this service. ABT no longer sell this whole-house system and if I had known it required a professional plumber to change the filter I would have never purchase this system. I believe they no longer sell it is because they received complaints from other customers. I contacted *** the third week in May 2023 with my concerns, they informed me they would get back to me to try and work something out. I have not heard from them. This system cost over $1300.00. The installation was over $700.00 and so far I spend $200.00 in having to have these filters changed. I no longer want this system in my home and want a refund of my purchase price and cost of installation. I'll go elsewhere to find a whole-house system that I can maintain on my own.Business Response

I purchased the Bosch Range almost two years ago. Within two months the oven did not work. When I try to turn on the oven, there is a gas smell and it does not turn on. Abt appliance repair came out several times and replaced a part. Less than ten days ago, the oven stopped working again and the repair person came out. Now, the oven does not turn on and there is a strong gas smell. *** told me they will send out someone to attempt to repair the oven this week again.This is a hassle and the oven has not been working for almost two years. I want to replace the oven, therefore I wish not to wait for the service and wait additional weeks for parts since this has been going on for a long time. bought a 16 cu ft Amana freezer from this company, delivery claimes to be in 15 - 18 days. I was charged on my credit card for this purchase. Almost 30 days later, still no delivery - i contacted the company, got on a chat with one of the people ther on a PC, after an hour of telling them this situation, and i went through 3 chat techs, each on disconnected me. the third one was a bit more cooperative, but not much. I got the feeling this company was hiding something from the lack of information i was given, and i believe they are a scam. They basically said, "oh well, there is no such an order,sorry." but yet i have been charged $189.95 on my credit card. I am very angry at this scam company, and id like something to be done about it. I even checked with the BBB first before ordering - you seemed to approve of this company.Business Response

I tried calling the customer this morning but phone number says they have a voice mail box that has not been set up. I researched in our system and have no order for this customer, and I don't have any amana freezers for sale for $189.00 on my website. We have seen a number of spoof websites like ABTSDISCOUNT.COM, ABTTVS.COM etc pop up recently and had a number of calls from customers that have been duped. I have a strong feeling that that is what happened here. We are working with authourities to have these fake sites taken down. Customer should file a chargeback with their credit card bank.
