  I used Renewal by Andersen to replace 21 windows in my home. There was trash left around my house after the installation. The trim job was terrible. The wood was uneven, bowed, crooked, and marked. I asked for compensation for the trim and was offered $300, less than 1% of the total cost. After the rain recently, water flooded into my basement through the 9 month old windows. I'll be paying these poor quality windows off for the next 10 years.

  The installation happened back in August and was very professional and quick. We noticed we were having problems locking a couple of windows after winter rolled around in December and Andersen sent ******* out to assist us. He was able to lock the windows with no problems and give us a quick tutorial on how to lock them.

  This review is about the process this far; have not received windows yet: I appreciate the work ********************* has done in getting HOA approval; he remained professional despite having to address several challenges along the way. He was always respectful, kind and responsive.

  I have ************ from ***. They open and close fine and they look nice. They also leak air worse than my ****s wood windows that they replaced. I had the company out twice to check them and determine why I can feel cold air coming through at the bottom of the lower sash. They made a couple of adjustments and nothing has changed. Today it is 4 degrees and windy and I have ice on the inside of the window between the frame and the bottom of the lower sash. 12 years ago I replaced 7 windows with ************. No air infiltration, no ice just a perfect performance for far less money. I gave two stars because the service and installation by *** was done well. The product is not worth the money at all. I will probably be replacing the air infiltration window in my bedroom with another brand sooner than later.

  It took about 7 months to get our install. Once the install was done we noticed that the measurements had been done wrong and there was a scratch on one of the sliding glass door panels. We asked for them to honor that they would fix any issues to make us happy as the sales man had said and then we started getting the run around. They straight out told me that I would have to buy a new replacement door to fix the issues. They forgot to pull a notice of commencement from the ************************** so my door could not get inspected. We are currently in limbo and waiting on a response from our complaint to the BBB.

  **************** scheduling/customer service is terrible- waited almost 10 months for replacement of defective window to be scheduled- scheduled for **** today and had to call 800 number twice- first told at 11:30 they were on their way- called back at 1:30 to be told I was now scheduled for between **** - it is now 2:30 with no arrival yet- would be nice to get a phone call or text updating me - gave up entire day waiting for them to arrive- would not recommend purchase at the prices they charge if this is what happens when you encounter a problem

  Totally agree with all comments about the slick salesmen. They are not up front about the product. We take some blame as we should have done more research & asked more questions but when you're standing in a knotty pine home talking pine wood interior on the windows someone should tell you it's a VENEER on their fibrex frame! It's deceitful not to! Wood my ***! Praying we can get the staining to match the rest of house.The reason we got these windows was because 7 years ago they had replaced some & we were extremely pleased. At that time they stained everything & did some reconstruction to accommodate the windows. Now they do neither. When we were told that...that's when we should have said NO! So disgusted.

  I have been seeing the ads about Renewal bu Andersen. We purchased our windows in 2019 the salesman came to the house, measured the windows, and gave us a price of $35,000. When we began to decline the sale, he said the price was good anytime we needed. We do it in stages and pay as the windows were installed. We agreed and set up the installation of windows in the back of the house. On the day of installation, the crew showed up with all the windows ready to install them all and asking what our payment method was. We explained that we were told that we could have installation of the windows on our schedule for up to one year. If we did not complete the installation, the price may change. That sold us, although, on arrival, installers said not so. We had them price out the windows they were supposed to install and that came to *********. The rest of the windows went back. We contacted customer service; they had no idea who the salesman was. After waiting on hold, we found that the salesman no longer worked with them. How convenient. Buyer beware with Andersen. My mothe's initials are AJS. I said that to prove this is an actual review.

  Would never use them again. Our windows that aren't even 2 years old are leaking and corroding. Trying to get help is next to impossible. Never use them.
