1 starWhen I first signed as a new customer with REMOVED, I was promised by the REMOVEDI was working with whose first name is REMOVED, that my us cellular bill would not cost me more than $150 monthly for 4 lines. We were also supposed to receive contract buy-out help to pay off the old contract that we had activated through T-Mobile, but I'm not even sure I got all those credits placed on my bill, where I stand now, uscellular who, might I add, was recently bought out by T-Mobile, is telling me that I have a past due balance of $560. There is no way in God's green earth that I would ever be able to pay that kind of an amount! So, this seems to me to be a breach in contract. Quite honestly, it's to the point where I just want to forget having a REMOVEDservice, buy me a landline & a landline phone and just have people contact me via landline. What I'd really like to have happen is cancel my service with this carrier without having to pay early termination fees or anymore device installments either! If I could figure out how to do that all without having to jump through about REMOVEDhoops just to get it done, I would be a happy camper! BBB if there's anyway that you could help me with this issue, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks so much, BBB.Review fromGary N

1 starI have had several significant problems with US Cellular. Firstly, I don't think that they advertise their prices accurately. I was told that my monthly service payment would be 70-something and it ended up being closer to $130. Next, I have had many technical problems that they did not resolve. Due to financial hardship and the unexpectedly high monthly prices, I found it difficult to keep up with their monthly bills. When I fell behind in my bills, they initially agreed to put me on a payment plan. However, their ability to follow through on the payment plan was terrible. They repeatedly turned off my services, claiming that I was behind in payments, despite our previously mentioned payment plan. Because of my financial situation, I qualify for a government program called Life Line which helps pay for some of my phone service; when I decided to discontinue US Cellular and set up a phone service with a different carrier, US Cellular shut off my phone, before I could completely transfer my Life Line. In other words, before I could set up my new phone, they shut off my old phone leaving me with no phone. Lastly, I asked US Cellular to discontinue my internet and stop billing me for it, but they delayed for months to do so and continued charging me the whole time.Review fromKelce L

1 starWhile I do understand the switch and absorption of US Cellular into T-Mobile, what I do not understand is the layoffs. I shop at the US Cellular Store in Wichita Falls, Texas. I was appalled to find out that, through this transition, each employee will be laid off in August. This is HEARTBREAKING. There are some employees, REMOVED in particular, who are ALL-STAR at what she does. And yet, she is being rewarded by a layoff?! US. Cellular, you KNEW this was happening long before it did. You should have fought harder for your employees to have a spot at T-Mobile once the transition occurred.Review fromSkye D

1 starI spoke with FIVE REPRESENTATIVES with US cellular. the last call i had was today may 9th, the representative muted her microphone and refused to talk to me, she refused to transfer me to a supervisor or retention. she sat there for over 15 minutes with her microphone muted hoping i would hang up so she didnt have to deal with me. REMOVEDis the supervisor i spoke with before her. he refused to acknowledge that i asked several times to give me information to file a complaint. i shouldnt have to ask more than once!!!! and then the representative before him also refused to acknowledge that i wanted to file a complaint and refused to transfer me to a supervisor!!!!!!! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND NOT OKAY. The provider is awful and the prices are absolutely outrageous. they give you random fees constantly on top of your insane bill amount. Us cellular is a terrible provider. i would never recommend using them.Review fromRobert S

1 starWe switched from T-Mobile to U.S.Cellular. We were promised a refund for the amount of money to buy out our contract after we paid T-Mobile. We paid the $1520.39 to t-Mobile and brought the receipt to o U.S.Cellular to get our refund. They said they filed all the paperwork. This was in November of 2025. We checked in with U.S.Cellular every couple of weeks asking about our refund. It supposedly has been filed repeatedly but they claim they have no paperwork. Now they are telling us we have to rejoin T-Mobile to get a credit but it will take a few months.Review fromAndrew A

1 starI had already paid my bill for us cellular and they sent a text that I had to go to the nearest store to change over to REMOVEDThey said if you had to change over before the end of the month or loose service and your number by the end of the month. I had talked to a representative and they will not refund any money on my account. Not only that I had a credit amount on there for $15 to $20. I live on a fixed income and this is wrong!Array Digital Infrastructure

1 starI paid off my phones with US cellular and switched to a new phone carrier. They have delayed unlocking my phone for two and a half days so I am unable to port it with the new service. They said it would take 48 hours and its been been over 48 hours. I called three times and they still won't unlock it. Terrible service, highly over priced plans I am saving $116.00 per month with the new service with the same unlimited text, data and talk.
