On Nov 30. 2023, I order a pair of Sandals ONLINE FOR A PLANTAR FASCIITIS INJURY.. I NOTICED THE ***** FORM HAD THE wrong size. No phone number was given to contact anyone, so I emailed them at ************************************* to cancel order. This was 20 minutes after ordering. I stated I was leaving for vacation in Fla and was hoping they could cancel, since it was a major error in size and contacted them immediately!The response was we will look into this dispute ??it took 2 days to get back to me and it stated they already started the shippping( how can that be, it wasnt.t even ******************************************** And the charge was just pending there was no way it was shipped.Email response was that I should send it back when I receive item and get a full refund. So, I waited and waited for sandals.On Dec. 20 I received shoes..they were shipped from *****?? Not aware they were from *****.. I contacted them again by email for an address where to ship.It took another 2 days to get back to me with an address and stated we have to receive it within 30 days from day of receipt.. This was after Xmas. I went to PO. AND HAVE A COPY OF TRACKING NO. As they insisted , i sent the tracking no via email. This should be received on Jan 2-5 . Since then I got another email stating the no. Was not clear. So I sent the photo again along with PO receipt. I have not heard back, they now have stated I am to track item and email them when it is received? Oh My. This company has been nothing but a nightmare. I am a 74 year old senior and have never dealt with a problem like this. The sandals were awful , a copy of the Ortho Fee, with no name of ortho Fit on the sandal So I could not regift them..they were terrible shoes.All i want is my refund 0f 39.95..I paid for the shipping. This company appears to be fraudulent. Nightmare to get item and return.. I am now dealing with credit card co. On Dec. 8, 2023, I purchased three pairs of shoes (two orders) from The Orthofit.com. Within two hours of my on-line purchase I attempted to cancel the order. They would not cancel the order. I received one order (two pairs) on Dec. 22. The shoes do not fit. I never received the other order. They state they offer full returns. They will not refund my money (say they will give me 15% back) and will not send me an address to which I can send the shoes. Their business is a scam. I would like my money back, and I'd like to warn others about them. This is a fraudulent website. I have all the communication saved if you need it. Please get back to me. *************Product NOT as Advertised!People are being ripped off - paying OrthoFit (deceptively playing off the legitimate company OrthoFeet) and receiving plastic/rubber shoes straight from ***** - and OrthoFit NOT issuing a refund, I have reported this company to my bank as a fraudulent business. My bank has issued a credit for the $69.69 this company charged me. The bank is investigating this transaction as a fraudulent charge, and will determine whether OrthoFit is a sham company ripping customers off!Shame on OrthoFit for stealing peoples hard-earned money! The shoes they send customers are cheap, chemical smelling plastic/rubber that dont fit and cant be worn. Yet when a refund is requested, the company doesnt honor their return/refund policy published in their website. Apparently, trying on the shoes makes them used and disqualified for a refund!Initial Complaint

I filed a complaint today about this problem but the address I had was no longer valid. I ask not sure how to proceed at this point. Your information does not include the company name that is in my paypal account, Zefi E-commerce, Limited, which is who is listed for Orthofit shoes. I am trying the only other address listed for Orthofit to see if that is also closed or out of business. I am beginning to think this is all a scam and I have been duped. But I thought I would try again. I have also started a complaint with PayPal, which i used to pay for the purchase. Thank you anything you can do for me.Initial Complaint

ORTHO34385. Shoes are wrong size. I requested either a refund or correct size. The quality isn't what I expected. I emailed company 7 times between Dec 4 and Dec 16. They said I received correct size. Their policy stated if I'm not satisfied I can return for full refund. Then they offered 15 percent and keep the wrong size shoes! I purchased boots from them. They sent me an email saying the warehouse had closed because of COVID-19, so my order was going to be delayed 2-3 weeks. I requested them to cancel the order and refund my money. The response I got was that miraculously my boots did ship and here's your tracking info. I watched the tracking info closely. It supposedly arrived at *** on 12/11 then, again miraculously, cleared customs in ******** and was delivered in ********* on 12/14. I sent an email asking how that was possible, that they were not delivered (still have not received them), and, again, asked for a refund. They responded with a request for me to try a few things first and haven't heard anything more from them.Initial Complaint

Boots were advertised as high quality, comfortable, orthopedic shoes for older women, with a guaranteed return policy. What I received is a cheaply made product, with no arch support and extremely uncomfortable. When I contacted OrthoFit for a return, I was told they do no accept returns on shoes that were tried on. Of course I tried them on! And immediately took them back off, knowing they didn't fit right.This company is false advertising the quality of their product, as well as their refund policy. Ordered Nov 9th - Received shoes on Dec 2nd. Very poor quality. The seller suggested ordering one size larger. Shoes were too big. An email request for a return was issued Dec 3rd. The seller states clearly, a NO HASSLE RETURN within 30 days if you are UNSATISFIED. This is a BIG LIE!!! Upon the sellers request, after sending a video and pictures of the shoes in their brand new condition along with the reason for the return (poor quality and size issue) I was told since the shoe was tried on, they were considered used and non-returnable. Seriously?? No where in their return policy is this stated and it would be ridiculous if it was. Offered a few dollars off my purchase instead. Why would anyone want to keep shoes that dont fit? This company is a SCAM and should be SHUT DOWN. They are completely DECEIVING THEIR CUSTOMERS.Too many similar complaints and nothing is being done!!! Their website looks very impressive but dont be fooled. Its CRIMINAL what this company is doing to innocent consumers. Wish I would have checked the BBB reports before ordering BUT in my defence, companies of this nature should not be allowed to stay in business. Please do something more.Initial Complaint

On 11/13 I ordered a pair of OrthofFit tennis shoes. I purchased them for *****. The website said to order up a size so I bought the 8-8.5. When they arrived on 11/27 they said they were 8.5 which was too big for me. When I tried to tighten them, the toggle broke off. Clearly the quality was poor in design. I looked on their website for a customer service email and sent an email letting them know of the issues and that I needed a return address to send the product back and get a refund. I have been emailing back and forth to them for nine days. Each email tells me that they can let me keep them for a 10% refund. Then it was 15% then they said they could not guarantee that they would arrive to them for the refund to which I replied that I would return with a signature required. They asked for a picture of the shoes to which I sent. Then they requested more photos to which I sent. Finally today, 12/6 I received an email that said they cant return because they must be unused or untried. Instead, their resolution is to give me back 20%. I am so frustrated with this company and their dishonesty. All I wanted was to return the shoes that did not fit and that broke and instead, I am getting nothing but the run around. I let them know I would be contacting the BBB, my bank and the *** fraud division. They did not respond to this. The only acceptable resolution is a return for a full refund. I am not uploading documents as they have all of my emails and photos. I placed an order with this company and tried to contact them immediately bc the order came through with the wrong item. They have not responded. Email is the only option. I just got an email that says that there entire warehouse is shut down for at least the next few weeks because of Covid so my order will be delayed until they return. This was after receiving an email that my order had shipped and issuing a tracking number but then when I click on it is says that it hasnt been picked up yet. I am certain I have been scammed based on others complaints posted here.
