I purchased two pair of shoes from ortho fit although they were my size 8 1/2 they were too small.I asked the company if I can get the next size up 9. They told me I had to pay to have the two pair of shoes returned which I did. It cost me $65 to return the two pair of shoes.They have not given me a refund nor have they given me an exchange!Its been over two months and at least 10 emails.I dont want them to scam other people as well. I ordered a pair of comfort sandals on 12/20/23. The website tricked me into buying another pair but you are not able to cancel an order when I tried. Received shoes weeks later. Shoes have a foul smell and are hard as a rock. Immediately requested a return. Was told they could not be returned because I tried on the shoes and are now considered used. I disputed never even out of package and they did not inspect shoes because they refuse to accept. Sent pictures proving never worn and still in package. They then say they are unable to accept returns at this time due to warehouse issues and offer a 20% refund. These shoes meet all the return requirements so their warehouse issues are not a reason to not give me my money back. Another email they respond that they shoes are used and they will offer a 25% refund. This company is ridiculous and will not honor their return policy. Im appallled that this company can be allowed to continue the deceptive practices and SCAM consumers. I ordered a pair of shoes which first of all took a month to receive. Immediately upon receipt it was clear that this was a scam, the shoes came in a cheap plastic bag and not a box. Additionally, the shoes were nothing like described and the upper part felt more like a pair of socks. No way could this shoe provide the required support by my doctor. Ive been trying to return the unworn shoes and first its taken forever to get a reply. I had to email 3 times and note in the subject line 3rd attempt before they can answer and since they have taken no actions other than they keep coming back with ***** offers of refunding first 15% then with additional emails 20% on when Ive clearly SAID no and want to return the shoes for a full refund. *** never had to write so many emails for a REFUND. Clearly this is their way of stalling and to keep my money. I dont understand why a LAWSUIT has not been filed against this company to stop them in their tracks with so many complaints. Who is protecting consumers? Im contacting counsel to understand my rights and file a class action lawsuit on deceptive advertising and improper practices for returns/refunds. Purchased from this business 12/3 when received did not fit, contacted company for a refund (as website says 30 day ***************** back guarantee) they refused to allow return or refund. I saw an ad on ******** for winter boots from OrthoFit, claiming to be orthopedic, provide arch support and foot pain relief. I thought they looked stylish, so I ordered a pair of black ones. Somehow in the ordering process, a second pair were added or recommended on my order, so a grey pair was also included. As soon as I received my order confirmation email and realized a second pair had been added to my order I emailed the company. They said the order had already been processed, so they couldn't change it. They offered a 15% partial refund and I accepted it and $8.99 was credited to my account. I waited for my order to arrive for quite some time! I purchased them before a trip where we may encounter **** and hoped they'd arrive before we left. We were gone almost 2 weeks and they still hadn't arrived when we returned from our trip. I started to wonder if they were coming on the slow boat from *****. When they finally did arrive, they were just wrapped in a plastic bag and taped. They weren't even in a box or given any cushioning to avoid damage or deformation in shipment. When I opened the package, a horribly strong chemical smell overcame me! I saw that the second pair of grey ones were tiny! They were only size 5. I wear size 8 so I couldn't even try them on. I put one foot in the black size 8 pair and they were not anything they promised. Not orthopedic or arch supporting and too small. I emailed the company requesting to return them. They've been emailing me back and forth now for over 3 weeks. They offered another partial 15% refund, but that doesn't adhere to their return policy. It says they will give a stress-free refund. They are refusing to let me return them because they say their policy states anything that has been tried cannot be returned. I have done nothing to violate the return policy. I took pictures of them when requested by them. They are in original condition. I threatened to refuse the charge with my bank and report to the BBB now here.Initial Complaint

On Dec. 23, 2023, I purchased a pair of shoes from OrthoFit, online. They stated they had a 30 day money back guarantee. I paid with my debit card. I paid ***** dollars total. The shoes did not arrive for a long time. They were not in a box. These shoes did not fit and were not quality shoes. I asked for my money back and was told that because I tried on the shoes, they would not accept a return. (Which is ridiculous.) That was not spelled out on their website. Since I have been turned down for my refund, I have been looking into them. They are clearly scammers and should be shut down. Their ****** listings are highly suspicious and they only put good reviews on their site. Due to the verbage that is used, I seriously doubt customers wrote those reviews. I ordered some shoes from Orthofit in November and upon reviewing the original order I noticed they had charged me for an additional pair of shoes which I never selected. They refused to remove them from the order but gave me a 10:/: refund. Then the failed to show up after a couple of weeks. I contacted them several times over the next few weeks asking where my shoes were. They said they were in Transit but when I looked on the tracking site it looked like they had never left their origin somewhere in *****! Anyway, the package arrived on 1/2/24 in a bag with no return address. I decided right then I wanted to return the shoes unopened after going through such grief with this company. So i tried emailing to start the return process and complied with their request for a photo and reason for the return. I have been asking for a return address for last week with no response! I feel they are a complete fraud and are stealing money from multiple consumers. There must be a way to stop these people from preying on the public!Initial Complaint

I thought I only ordered one pair of shoes and that's what the confirmation email showed. But later the same day I got an updated email showing I purchased two pair of the same shoe. I immediately emailed back to stop the order for one pair, but was told that wasn't possible. When the shoes arrived, I sent one pair back without even trying them on. Advertising for OrthoFit on FB had me excited to try these supposedly orthopedic shoes that provide superior support for arch, plantar fasciitis, and other foot issues. I order 2 pairs for my mom (age 73) and 1 for myself (age 50). I spent over $180. The shoes took several weeks to arrive, did not fit as described, and when I started the return process, it became a nightmare of emails back and forth. Their ad claims "hassle-free" returns with "free return shipping" making it sound as if it's a satisfaction guaranteed product. I was immediately asked to send photographs to verify they were unused, to which I complied. I then was offered a 10% refund of the products to just keep them. I notified them I wasn't interested and sent multiple screenshots of their ad offering free return shipping and continued to request a return label. Their offer for a no-return refund then went up to 15%. It was only after I again refused that the company FINALLY sent me an ADDRESS to return the shoes- but, again, no shipping label. I gave up and paid for the return. Next, the company demanded a **** shipping tracking number. I sent that, and I was informed I should now let them know when it's delivered so they can make a decision regarding the refund - if it is within 30 days. First of all THEY should know when it's received at their factory. And second, if they had just honorably complied with their guarantee in advertising, they would've received the return within 2 weeks. I'm BEYOND annoyed and frustrated, and I HIGHLY recommend NOT making ANY purchases from this company.
