Horrible experience with Grubhub I order lunch for me and my coworker for takeout and we go and start walking to the restaurant just to find out after walking *************************************************************************************************** the area and is not going to prepare the order. Nobody to contact for help they never pick up the phone.. Grubhub support is useless not helping at all and couldnt even cancel the order for me so I am just stuck with this spent money and no food. I placed an order at 2:36pm through the Grubhub app. Estimated delivery time was 3:11pm-3:26pm. At 3:48pm, I had still not received my order. I called Grubhub regarding this problem. The man on the phone told me the order would be canceled and I would be refunded. I asked him 3 times to confirm I would receive the refund to my checking account. He confirmed YES. Next thing, I received an email that I would only receive a refund through a Grubhub credit.I would like the original amount charged to my checking account to be refunded to my checking account for GOODS & SERVICES I NEVER RECEIVED.Business Response

Placed an order and one dish was missing 5 items and the other dish was missing entirely. Grubhub refused to refund for missing items which is essentially theft. This has happened numerous times recently and it's egregious. I should be refunded for the missing items, including tax and service fees.Business Response

Made an order at 11pm August 17. Estimated arrival time was 11:50pm. Requested a refund and to cancel the order and was denied. This issue is no fault of mine and should be handled by the business. I am rejecting this response because:As a business there should be no reason you can't cancel and refund an order for FOOD that has been waiting to be delivered for 1 hour and 45 minutes. FOOD grows BACTERIA after sitting for 2 hours. It's unsafe. And to be reject a cancelation for the extremely late food and a refund i get told no. Not acceptable.

GrubHub has two guarantees. One is price guarantee "find a lower price? Let us know, and we'll give you the difference PLUS $5 off your next order" and On-time delivery guarantee "if your food arrives late you'll get $5 off your next order." I have submitted documentation on two different orders for price guarantee and were denied without a specific reason. I called them and the person said it was in their terms but nothing specific.
