Grub hub order at 326pm on8/13/2025. The order kept getting delayed. To 6pm. It was my sons birthday dinner that was supposed to be delivered by the time he got home from work. Finally cancelled and asked for a refund to my credit card and grub hub refused. They issued a grub hub credit. This is unacceptable. On August 10th I purchased subway from grubhub. The order consisted of 2 six inch sandwiches, 2 cookies, and 2 Gatorades. The delivery driver couldnt find me despite me waving behind her and trying to catch her. She instead left, marked the order as delivered, and went to a Wingstop. I immediately called her and asked her to bring the order back as she didnt see me when I was right behind her. She agreed. However it would take some time. I immediately reached out to grub hub to explain the situation and was met with an AI assistant who did not help me. The order was brought to me, incorrect (added items I cannot eat such as tomatoes), and soggy (tuna). Upon reaching out to Grubhub I was told the failure was mine for receiving too many refunds despite their driver making this error and ignored.Business Response

On July 9, 2025, I received a $15 Grubhub credit after my order was canceled. The email I received from Grubhub explicitly states that the credit expires 90 days after issuance. However, Grubhub removed the credit from my account after only 30 days.I contacted Grubhub ************* multiple times, providing the email and citing their own website terms, which also state a 90-day expiration for credits. Despite this, customer service insists the credit was only valid for 30 days and refused to restore it.This is a clear contradiction of Grubhubs written terms and amounts to false advertising and breach of contract. I am requesting that Grubhub restore my $15 credit or provide a satisfactory explanation and resolution.Customer Answer

on Saturday ******* I placed an order for ********* thru grubhub, the total ws *****. The order was inadvertently taken to a different address. I asked for the monies to refunded to my original form of payment, my debit card. They have issued a credit back to GrubHub for me to use w/n 90 days and that's not going to happen. They keep telling me they are unable to refund any longer to original form of credit and can only issue a GrubHub credit to use for ordering again. I am not ordering from GrubHub again and they can't hole my money like that for something I did not even receive. They continue to offer ***** plus another $10 on top of that. I want my money back. I am rejecting this response because:they are forcing me to use their service, credit applied to future orders before a date in November 2025. The delivered to the wrong address, I told them that during the delivery process 08.10.25, also tried to call the driver 3 times and my call would not go through, texted the driver the correct address, no response either. I should not have to pay for product I did not receive and have my money held up like this. I am not going to use grubhub again so I need my money back. I don't have ***** to throw away and they should not be allowed to force me to use it by ordering something else thru their service, that is not right. GrubHub was aware the delivery went to the wrong address as I was texting them the same evening it the incident occurred, they said they would credit the order, I told them to credit back to original form of payment. I did not receive a message from them until Monday that it was credited as in store credit not back to my debit card which is where the money needs to go.
