This program was purchased by our school when we already had an online platform to write discussion posts and complete assignments. I see Packback as a way for teachers to use AI to grade assignments rather than having to grade assignments themselves. Maybe Packback has better uses/features than just to be used for discussion posts that would make it worth the extra money for students. If not, it is definitely not worth the price students have to pay.

This company quoted a price to be charged to each student to utilize its learning platform for a Fall 2024 semester for an online class. After agreeing on a price with the faculty of the overseeing school, the company turned around and charged each student more than double the agreed upon price, unbeknownst to the faculty. These folks are quite the stellar sort of swindlers and ne-er-do-REMOVED.

I've received more than 100 unsolicited emails and several unsolicited phonecalls from Packback. I've asked several times for them to leave me alone and yet they keep trying to contact me. They have no 'unsubscribe link' to click. Their company is built on spamming university employees.
