Snapsheet makes their estimate based on a picture, resulting in a very incomplete one and a payout that is much too low. Then they take forever to look at any supplementary estimate. It has been a month so far. I've been a member of USAA for over 30 years, and this process is making me look elsewhere for insurance.

Snapsheet - who was working on behalf of USAA - severely slowed down and ***** pinched my recent claim and repair for a damaged truck.Once the initial estimate was finally approved and the repairs started, Snapsheet kept kicking back the supplementals for additional damage discovered during the repairs. After almost 2 months of not having my truck, the repair shop calls me to let me know they just need to paint and run a final diagnostic and it would be done; however, the shop told me Snapsheet wanted to total my truck (after it was almost completely repaired) and told the mechanic the payout would be approximately $26,000. This is interesting considering the market value of my truck is between $29,000-30,000.Today, I received a call from the shop saying they needed to install a sensor in the taillight and the hood, they had the parts located, they just needed approval from Snapsheet or USAA ... neither of which they could get a hold of.Bottom line - Snapsheet claims they make the claims and repair process easier for an insurance company. However, since they do not utilize an actual person to evaluate damage, they lack context of repairs and severely elongate the process artificially. Use caution when evaluating an insurance company you may want to sign, see if they use programs like this.

I have been a member of USAA for 19 years and Snapsheet is going to force me to change my insurance company. Their estimates are unrealistic and want to cut corners instead of getting my vehicle back to its previous condition. I would highly advise anyone who has USAA to strongly consider changing companies before they are forced to deal with this third party nonsense.
