    Ive emailed this company multiple times and customer service is the pit. I received a product that was not as described. Requested refund and they want to charge me $80 plus additional amount to return. Meaning making it impossible to get your money back. Do NOT buy from them. More HASSLE than what its worth. Going to dispute the charges!!

    returned the product (2 cameras, 2 s d cards) several weeks ago and cannot get the company to refund my money. I have made several phone calls to no avail. On the last phone call, I was told the supervisor would call me. That never happened.

    I received a light socket camera and called support four times for assistance to install. I was hung up on three times. I was sent a replacement camera at no charge as the company determined that the original camera was defective. I installed the second camera on my own. It worked for about five minutes and then went offline. I can't get either camera to work. WIFI keeps dropping. I requested a refund. I was advised that I would only get a refund if I paid for return shipping. I don't feel that I should have to incur any expense for a product that does not work. I purchased a product in good faith. If I simply changed my mind and wanted to return the camera I would gladly pay to return it. I should not incur any changes for a defective product or one that doesn't work. Companies can't sell products that don't work and expect to profit from that. This company and camera have great reviews online and Consumer Reports recommended them. I don't know why I am expected to pay for return shipping for a defective product. I am requesting a refund of the full amount I originally paid.

    Dec 7th I bought the item. Sent it back Dec.18th. it was received by them on the 26th at 10:05 am. I have been fighting them for my refund. I call, I have emailed numerous times on both but to no avail. Ask to talk to supervisor but of course no one available at the time. Told they will call me back but no one has ever called back. Looking at their FB page I see they have done this to a lot of people who are still trying to get their refund. I call them everyday but always the same answer. "I will put it through right away or we tried to put it through but for some reason it didn't work so we are working on it. This company should not be in business. I want my money back. I would like the ***** also it cost me to send it back. they had said when this first started I would only get back *****. Well, 3 weeks later still fighting them.

    Product, a security System delivered on or about 12/11/23. Attempted to install product that took many hours with their customer service department to no avail. I requested to return product om 12/22/23. Agent advised me to send the product back but I would incur S/H charges. Moreover, I paid $126 for the product, but the company would only pay $70.77 for its return, a substantial return charge of $77! This company is a ripoff!

    On 11-13-2023, I purchased a light bulb security camera set. They assured me it would be delivered by 11-17-2023. I ordered for our 2nd home in ** and told them I didn't want to order if wouldn't be there before we had to leave back to ****. After the purchase, they called and wanted to sell a chip for the cameras, and i also purchased the chip.On 11-17-2023, the item never arrived, I tried the tracking and it showed it was never shipped. I emailed and tried to call to tell them to cancel multiple times every day . No response from either method. We had to return to **** 11-21-23 As of today, 11-22-23, nothing has shipped.I want the order canceled and my money refunded. I paid per PayPal. I tried to get help there to dispute, without luck. But noticed that Dot Com Products were set up to get reoccurring payments from me. I never gave consent to that.And I don't want anyone else to be scammed by them.I was charged $118 for camera and $38 for memory chip

    I tried talking to rep at the company.dot com products. He was rude and told me to return at my expense. I told him to send me a label to return. He said send it back and send him a picture of tracking slip. He stated he could refund me $ 32.$$ on my American Express.I asked for return label cause I dont want and it doesnt work like they advertised it.

    Taking advantage of customers. I purchased a security camera, plus a $19 ** card from them that they suggested. The Camera would not recognize the ** card and the app would insist you sign up for their cloud recording service for a fee. After contacting customer service 3 times, (because I would be cut off each time), I was told the camera was defective and i should return it for a new one. However, I was told I would have to pay for the defective one to be shipped back to them. I told the representative I didn't want a refund, just a camera that worked as advertised. They insisted I pay to have the bad one to be shipped back before they would send me a new one. I said it wasn't fair I should pay out more money for receiving a defective product. They insisted they would not send me a new camera until I shipped the bad one back at my expense. I asked for a prepaid return label, but they said they don't do that. That's bad business practice if you ask me.

    I ordered two light bulb cameras after viewing video advertising. I received them and upon trying to set up the App. It requires your email and password and a credit card. The advertising video contradicted these requirements. I did not open the camera boxes and immediately called to return them. Dotcom Products offered to quadruple my expense by issuing me credit on their site. I declined so they immediately offered me half my expense which was issued. However, I pay for the return of the items and must get a tracking number to be refunded the other half. So likely this will be expensive. Especially when you consider the custom fees from ******* to ******.I recommend everyone to stay away from Dotcom Products.
