My Rinnai water heater needed repair. Day 1: A tech diagnosed the heat exchange unit needed to be replaced($650). $325 required upfront payment. Day 2: New tech diagnosed the problem was diagnosed wrongly & filter needed to be cleaned. Next day previous tech was fired or quit. New tech tried to flush the filter. 6 hours later, failure . He told me that my fully warranted Rinnai needed to be replaced, & manufacturer was not honoring the warranty. He enthusiastically recommends The Nividia heater for $4000. They offered it for $3500. Day 3: Two new techs take 10 hours to install. Performing retrofits to the infrastructure of my home (pipes) without my knowledge. Worked for five mins & then water poured all over. We shut everything off. Day 4: 2 new techs came out & told me the previous tech did not know what he was doing. They worked on the unit for 2- hours. Disappeared for 3-hours. 2 hours after returning they told me they needed to break the floor to reach the drain. I said stop trying to fit a square *** in a round hole & get me another unit. A mgr agreed to replace the Nividia with a new Rinnai, a plug-in play install. Day 5: All retrofits were ****** to their original state. 6 hours later new water heater installed. A mgr named *****, said I would get a refund. I only wanted $325 (heater exchange unit). I ignored the lost week of my ************ for having to stay in my home waiting for techs. Weeks later: Countless calls to ************** at the company they said a refund is approved. They promised to call back, but only did once. Over a month later, they approve a refund of $125. I am still battling to get $325 the heater exchange unit that was never installed. They left a mess at my house. Also every tech that came to my house wanted a good review so they could get a $20 bonus.

The most dishonest company I have ever dealt with. Starting with the customer ********************** department and the plumber named ****. I paid him ****** just to tell me that my toilet needs a ring. I paid it. Then he told me the ***** would be deducted from the cost of job if I decided to hire him. I said, ok lets get this done in the morning. He asked me to sign off and proceeded to add the ring that took him about 15 minutes to get done and charged me ***** dollars. Never did he discount the ****** paid upfront for hiring him. What a pig! Never again!! This company is trash and they will steal your money. Do your research before. ****** learnt.

DO NOT USE. My family used this company to fix some plumbing issues and the technician that came out was drinking on the job. He was flirting with my younger sister, and he spent all day there, but never fixed the problem. He also did damage in the home by letting sewage leak downstairs onto the wall and dropped equipment that damaged the flooring. My son called the next day to tell them that he did not want ****** to return and for them to send out another technician. When the new technician arrived he quoted my son two thousand more dollars and said that ****** had diagnosed the problem wrong. when my son called to complain about ****** and his behavior the manager totally disregarded everything that my son said. my son had a video of ******, leaving our property with both back doors open on the van and he also ran into the side of our house with the van and damaged his passenger side mirror. do not use this company. Theyre not ethical. They wont take accountability and they never fixed the problem and we were out of thousands of dollars and hired someone else to complete the job. I dont understand how they have high ratings on ******. I will never trust or look at those ratings the same. I hope this helps the next person.

Subject: Repeated Service Failures and Misrepresentations by Rooter ProXpress Review:I've experienced multiple issues with Rooter ProXpress, necessitating this detailed review to inform potential customers.Initial Heating Unit Repair Date of Service: October 24, 2024 Issue: Paid $450 for a repair that was not resolved, requiring an additional $150 on a follow-up visit. Despite my complaints sent on November 20 and December 18, 2024, and conversations with ***** ****** who promised escalation, the issue remains unresolved.Misrepresentation by Employee Date of Incident: October 24, 2024 Employee: ******* ****** Issue: Was initially quoted $2,000 for a water heater, later reduced to $1,500 after a $200 upfront payment, which I found out was the actual price without any discount. Despite my follow-up complaints and discussion with the owner, no satisfactory resolution has been provided.Earlier Service Issue Date of Request: May 13, 2024 Issue: The service on my heating and air unit was inadequate, and the documentation did not specify what was serviced. My request for a detailed invoice remains unaddressed.Request for Warranty and Itemized Invoice Date of Request: November 1, 2024 Issue: I requested a detailed invoice and warranty documentation for a new water heater, which was only partially fulfilled by sending a manual via email after much delay.Summary:The lack of professional integrity and accountability from Rooter ProXpress, from unresolved service issues to outright misrepresentations, has compelled me write this review.

I had my 1k gallon tank and the outgoing hoses pumped out and was told that some chemicals were going to be used, nothing major were there for close to an hour, and was charged $3,474. I called someone I know that works in the septic tank business, and I was told I should have never paid no more than $1,500.

Absolutely DO NOT hire Rooter ProXpress. Over a year ago, my neighbor hired them because their sewage was backing up into their home. We allowed Rooter ProXpress access to our property to solve the issue that was going on in our neighbors home. They destroyed our lawn, and left a clean out pipe that was 6 feet above ground. It took them another three weeks to come back and fix the 6 foot tall pipe. However, instead of capping it off, they simply broke the pipe so it would hide underground. Now the pipe continually leaks SEWAGE, ****, water into our backyard I called and asked to cordially speak to the manager several times. He rudely told me to never call again to and to stop harassing the office staff. It will be a year in April since they have been out, and we still have SEWAGE water backing up into our yard from our neighbor. It ******* me how this company has so many good reviews when their customer ********************** is horrendous, and their business practices are unethical. Because we did not hire them ourselves, and there is no formal contract, we are stuck in a situation where we have no legal rights. However, in *******, this is not how one should do business. My children do not get to enjoy the yard because of the horrendous smell and the risk of them getting sick from the sewage. We do not have peace in our home. This is an ongoing constant source of stress.

Would not recommend. They say "free quote" but then want to charge a $50 service fee BUT don't tell you about a service fee when calling! Then wanted to charge $319.00 to reconnect a pipe that can loose under my kitchen sink. Said absolutely NOT! I wouldn't use their services and I would find someone else! Got it fixed for $75... a fix that literally took 15 minutes!! They are a huge rip off and wouldn't ever consider having them render any service in the future! Many much more reasonably companies out there!!

Ms. *********, I apologize for the fact that you were not completely made aware of the $49.50 service fee that is credited to your invoice if work is actually completed. We do try to keep our prices competitive and I apologize for the confusion on our pricing.

******************. Long story short, my parents are older, so I manage their rental property for them since they're not really able to do it anymore. On 1/1/2025 I called to make an appointment for the following day to have the septic pumped. When I made the appointment, I specifically stated that for approval for the maintenance they needed to call me and I gave my number. The woman who booked the appointment confirmed that the technician would take a look at the tank and call me with the quote and for approval before proceeding with the maintenance. I also asked for a rough estimate of the cost I should expect, assuming nothing was wrong and the supervisor told me between $300 - $600, which aligned with the research I saw. The next day, I get an invoice for $1,300; no call, no approval. I called the Company and somehow, they got my aging mothers phone number and called her for approval, even after I told them approval needed to come through me. They did not follow proper procedure and then without getting approval from the person with a contractual obligation to manage the property, they went ahead with the maintenance, charging wildly higher than what was expected. When I called to complain and get at least a partial refund, I was told that the Operations Manager, ***** would call me back. He to this day has never called me. Every day they told me they'd call, he wouldn't and when I would call, they would give me some excuse on why he was unavailable. These people gave me the run around for a week and a half. And when he did finally reach him, he was so arrogant and unapologetic. They offered a $350 refund which still didn't put the maintenance cost into the range of what others would have charged. He said he would take the case up to the person above it and promised he'd call me back the following day with the results. No call. I finally called back and told the supervisor I would accept the $350 just so that I could be done with them.

This company is the worst. They came to my home in ******, **. They patched and fixed my dishwasher, causing water leakage downstairs. That should have been my first clue. Their technician couldn't install a DISHWASHER correctly! Instead, I trusted them twice to come and try to fix the dishwasher until, ultimately, the last tech said ma'am, this ain't our strong fix, ****** dollars later! Adding another ****** for a local ********** man to fix it correctly. Later, I trusted the company again. I don't know if I'm stupid or desperate. But this time, it was my septic pump. Their tech replaced it. In 7 months, the septic pump went out completely. Guess what? The company said there is no warranty after paying almost ***** bucks! Now, they are asking for ****** again to replace my septic pump. After careful consideration and consulting other local PROFESSIONAL plumbing services, I decided to cut my business dealing with this company as they do not have enough tech experience, and their services DO NOT INCLUDE WARRANTY!!!! Watch out!

Completely Unprofessional Do Not Use This Company!I hired this company to fix a water leak in my home, and it turned out to be one of the worst decisions I've ever made. After an initial consultation, I was quoted $700 for the repair, and they assured me the issue would be resolved. Unfortunately, not only did they fail to fix the original leak, but they actually caused a new one in the same spot on the pipe. When I contacted them to explain the situation, they refused to take responsibility. They claimed the new leak was "unrelated" to the work they just completed, despite it clearly being the result of their repairs. I paid $700 for a service that was never properly performed, and now I'm left with an even bigger problem. The lack of accountability and poor customer ********************** is unbelievable. Instead of solving the issue, they made it worse and refused to come back to fix it. This has been a complete waste of time and ********** yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for reliable, professional service. I would not recommend this company to anyone and will never be using them again.
