Disgusting business. I disconnected service and recieved a final bill that is due on the 21st. What did I get this morning? An email stating that my "account remains unpaid with an overdue balance" and that my account will be sent to collections on the 23rd. Today is the 17th. Two days, and my bill isn't even technically due yet. But guess what? They deleted my access to my online account due to the fact that the service was disconnected. If you can choose any other company to get your gas, do it.

I accidentally paid 2 months to my old account. When I realized it I gave them a call and the 1st ****** found the old account and said yes. They credited one month to new account and sent a check to the old address which I no longer live at. She said they would credit the new account. Next month. Same issue. Called and she said the first **** did it wrong and said she fixed it leaving me with a balance of just over $19 which I paid. Next month. Same issue. Now they say 2nd payment was rejected. My bank account says different. Plus it was made via bill pay and can not bounce. ****** asked for info to be sent which I sent to him as requested. Then they send another email asking for different information which I sent. Each month threatening to disconnect my service, even though I pay new bills prior to due date. Horrible experience and still no resolution

Please be aware of GNG's rate policy. I am uncertain if this is industry-wide, but I want to leave something here to warn consumers of what I think is an unethical practice. This is what I was told, and there's nothing they could do.Scenario: I was on a variable rate plan, because plans expired and I did not notice until bills showed up on my bank statement. I cannot blame GNG but why variable rate the default option is another story entirely.I called to ask to get back on a fixed rate plan. Let say that rate plan will kick in immediately on 1/23/25, the date I called. However, if my "prior read date" is even one day before let's say 1/22/25, I am stuck with this variable rate for the rest of the month. I was told, after the fact, the only way to get on the fixed rightaway would be something like disconnecting the service and get it restarted. There is no pro-ration or any reading in between or anything that could make sense of this. This makes 0 sense in my honest opinion. If I disconnect, and then reconnect, that would involve more work on both ends. GNG would charge $35 for a connection charge or whatever but in general this is more work. I question why is there no such thing as plan-change reading? Why is there no such thing as pro-ration? How much more work is it to do a reading that is practically done electronically these days? You get where I am going. This is crazy to **** was comforted, however, and was told that if it was the other way around, I would then benefit. For example, my "discount" or fixed-rate would apply for the rest of the usage period even if my rate lapsed mid period. So if my fixed rate ends 1/23/25 after the reading date of 1/22/25, I would still benefit from the fixed rate for the rest of the usgage period until my variable rate kicks in the month after. ******* the end, all these things, rates and such are all done electronically. My review is to warn you and to question these practices. Knowing is half the battle.

Terrible business, said I put myself on a budget variable rate. Got a surprise bill because my fix rate went out only to find that they themselves put me on this stupid budget friendly con. After I pulled the 150 to 400 bill they hit me with another surprise bill to get out of the budget friendly trap of 2300. What a **** joke of a business.

My 12 month fixed plan ended that was around .69 to .79 per therm in *********. They did send notice, I did let it lapse without making a decision. Surprise on the new bill, I'm on their variable rate plan for ***** per therm. I called and spoke to **** and ******* and there is nothing they can do. They talk in circles and will little clarity. They don't tell you what the variable rate pricing is going to be in the notification before as an example, which to me would seem reasonable. My previous bill was ******, pool heater was running a lot. New bill is ******.... this is a great way to ensure I move providers. Again, nothing they can do....I'm sure they did not pay anywhere close to the ***** they charged me. ***** *******

they charge you base what they want to charge, it is not true number read from meter, you used less gas still charge you more and you try to complain get it correct, they don't care, different customer agent tell you different answer, hope every unhappy customer file the complaint to BB and ************************************ department, do not renew your contract with this company when it's up, it seems to be true since the deregulation not only the price increase but also the service went down as well for consumer, they need to reverse the deregulation

We switched from Scana to GNG, because of the so-called 20cent discount per therms. But every since we switched, even after the credit, our bills are way more expensive with GNG. Once our contract is up, I will be returning right back to *****. GNG's AGLC charge is way more expensive than Scana's AGLC charge. If you are thinking of switching to GNG, because of their so-called discounts per therm, DO NOT SWITCH!!!!

January ****** I contacted GNG to renew my flat rate plan. I spoke with a representatives, I was quoted 57.9 a therm. I received my bill for March and it has my therm as 2.29 the bill was ******. I called and spoke to a representative (*****) about the situation. She said she saw in the notes where I called in about the flat rate plan at 57.9 a therm but she didnt know what happened. She said she could give me a credit for ****** I said no because the bill will still be high. I ask for a mgr. She transferred me to ***** apologize and said the bill has been credited for ****** and he would give me an additional ***** next month. But he cant back date the therm rate because the therm rate has changed, it will be 69 a therm. He asked if I wanted to lock the 69 a therm and he would send it to be reviewed for an adjustment. I said no because I didnt make the mistake his co worker did. When I went online to pay the bill after speaking to ***** I was credited ******. This month I received a new bill ****** ridiculous! I called again and spoke to this lead ******* . ******* said shes sending my bill to upper management to get my therm backdated to 57.9 a therm. ******* CALLED ME TODAY 3/28/2025. She said my bill was recalculated at 57.9 a therm MAKE IT MAKE SENSE! They are telling me they created the bill for ***** leaving me a balance of ******. This is not correct! My bills for ******************* were less than this. I have called them over and over. I did what I was supposed to do. They should own their mistake and adjust my bill accordingly. I have been with them for over a decade!

****************. triples your bill without notification and shuts off service the friday before an expected storm is to arrive. Stay far far away ***** this company. Georgia is a deregulated state for natural gas, and you do have the option to choose your gas provider.
