On 9 January ****, I followed the instructions found in the Roadie app to delete my account. The instructions stated to send an email to the provided email address. I did and it came back undeliverable. I contacted customer service and they gave me a different email address to request my account be closed. In total, I have emailed three different addresses and no one will close my account. They claim it is a technical issue and will get to it.Initial Complaint

I am a non employee driver for roadie. They locked me out of my account that allows me to access the money Ive earned, and will not correct the issue. Their response is that they have no time line for correcting the issue but will let me know when they correct it. Its been over a month now and Im still getting the same response.*** reached out to them about shippers that have had safety issues and nothing was done. After ignoring my concern one of these customers transported 2 dozen gasoline canisters. One spilt, filling my car with fumes and damaging the car. When I reached out to them to discuss concerns and problems, they will not escalate the call to a person who can take action and the issue is not resolved.In short they are unresponsive and neglectful.Initial Complaint

I ordered an item from Best Buy, a PS5, that was tendered to Roadie (a subsidiary of **** for delivery. The Roadie delivery driver (7c0ae0b0-0424-4101-904b-9582d896tb0e) brought the item to my house, took a picture of it on my porch and marked it as delivered, and proceeded to state to my doorbell camera that "he couldn't just leave it there," and absconded with the item. Best Buy denied my claim for a refund because it was marked as delivered. I attempted to contact Roadie to file a claim, but they do not have a customer service number or department to report to.Initial Complaint

I am a roadie driver my offer was accepted for a delivery at 407 a.m. said I had until 5:06 a.m. to arrive at the pickup ************* you I arrive at 5:15 a.m. because it is only *********************************** snow so I arrive at 5:15 a.m. I slide the bar that says I've arrived it lets me see the customer's name and date of birth I proceed to the drive-through pick up and my order completely disappears so now I've just drove an hour and 20 minutes and 11 weather and snowy cover roads for my order to disappear and customer service on ******************** to proceed to tell me that the order should have been picked up at 3:00 a.m. so how am I supposed to pick up an order with a pickup time of 3:00 a.m. if I'm not accepted on the order until 4:07 a.m. so now once again I am screwed out of my $45 that I was supposed to make and a quarter tank of my gas for Roadies app freaking s******* up again this needs to be stopped they are messing with people's lives and money especially in a bad economy like today they need to be held accountable for their app not working correctly this has happened so many times they're constantly s******* people out of money especially when you drive an hour and 20 minutes out of your way to pick up an order for $45 you get clear up here and it's poofs gone this needs to stopInitial Complaint

I requested a prescription delivery from CVS pharmacy. The prescription was delivered on the side of my next door neighbors home and thrown in the snow. It stated that someone would have to be home to accept the delivery my doorbell was not wrung or knocked on as I was home the entire time. I have taken hundreds of deliveries with the Roadie platform. Overall, I enjoyed using this platform, and that's why I kept doing it! Heaven and my bank account know it wasn't because I made millions delivering with them! But I kept on because it helped my family pay the bills and every delivery I e ever taken was easy enough and I got help when I needed it. Once I received a bad review but when I messaged support to inquire, they forwarded it to "the appropriate department" and I suppose they reviewed the situation because they removed the low rating and I was back to 5 stars. About a month ago, I delivered luggage almost 100 miles away, at 3am, and as soon as i finished it, my account was locked and under review by the "Trust and Safety Team". I was told I'd be emailed. Still haven't received anything from anyone. I've tried to call HQ. I've tried to send emails. Everytime I get the same "wait for your email" message. I don't understand this because I want to help clear up whatever misunderstanding is going on here!! I am missing out on the money I made with them, and I don't understand why I just communicate with someone about this. I've written down anything I can remember from that delivery, just in case so that I can remember better than if I didn't. But it doesn't mean anything if I can't speak to anyone and try to get the situation understood. It's totally not fair to ban a driver who has taken HUNDREDS of deliveries and has been a driver for over a year, without even talking to them or giving them a chance to give their account of things! I'm very disappointed in how they've handled this situation. And from what I've read here, many other unsatisfied drivers and customers all around!Initial Complaint

I want to file a complaint against roadie **** I paid over $600 for a laptop to be delivered to me between 7am & 7pm Christmas roadie was in charge of the delivery of that laptop. Roadies driver texted me at 5:48pm he was on his way for me not to forget a tip. Around 6:20 I received another text arriving. This driver lied and said he attempted to deliver my item when he did not. I waited all day waiting for this item because it was a gift for my son for Christmas. The driver sent another text no parking this man did not deliver my laptop or attempt to he just text me arrived no parking. So I texted where are you because I went downstairs to my lobby. This man texts me he just left. This driver was lying because there was plenty of parking. Why would he lie and say no parking. Five minutes later I received a text from another phone number that my laptop was going to be returned to the shipper. This is absolutely unacceptable. Then I text he again and he absolutely rude and doesnt care . Roadie needs to tell there drivers to stop the lies. People pay money for a service and because a driver doesnt like or want to do the job they were hired to do customers suffer. Why have a chat line or a customer service phone number when ********************** doesnt answer the chat message or the customer service phone number. Im attaching the entire conversation and the drivers name and information. He needs to be reprimanded because he lied and take all the necessary steps to deliver my package. This bad customer service has to stop why are so many delivery companies allowing there employees to give bad customer service to their customers. It needs to stop. I ordered a printer from BestBuy on 12/23- which was picked up by a Roadie driver for delivery on 12/24. It says delivered today 12/24 @6:51. I returned home at 7:15 pm. I get a picture of my building (which is a 7 floor building) saying delivered to my email. I checked everywhere around the building. There is no package. Has the driver really dropped the package.? I have never lost any of my amazon or ******* package ever. Does it make sense to take a picture of the building and say delivered rather than the picture of the item where it was kept as proof. My building is very safe - there are loads of packages left outside with no one picking or robbing any thing. Its very clear the driver just did not deliver and just took a picture of the building. Totally disappointed. Please be aware.
