I recently reviewed my Equifax credit report and discovered that two accounts are inaccurately showing late payments, despite the fact that I made all payments on time. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, all furnished information must be 100% accurate and verifiable.These accounts were never late, and I have included a copy of my credit report dated (01/2025), (08/2024) as evidence with this complaint. The reported delinquencies are false and damaging to my credit profile.I am demanding that these accounts be corrected to reflect Paid Never Late *************** cannot report information with knowledge that this information has errors. I am rejecting this response because:To Whom It May Concern,
I am responding to Equifaxs message dated July 31, 2025, regarding my BBB complaint. While I always appreciate Equifax team acknowledgment of the issue, I must emphasize the following serious concerns that remain unresolved:
********** removed these same late payments from my credit report, which proves the tradeline is not definitively verifiable and casts doubt on its accuracy.
Equifax is continuing to report inaccurate late payments that I provided evidence were made on time, in violation of the ***** requirement for maximum possible accuracy (15 USC 1681e(b)).
Equifax has failed to conduct a reasonable reinvestigation of this dispute as required under FCRA 611(a)(1)(A) and has not provided a method of verification as required under 611(a)(7).
This tradeline is now inconsistent across credit bureaus, which by itself supports that the information is not fully verifiable or accurate, Ive asked Equifax to update the info to correspond to the other Credit Reporting Agencys
Requested Resolution:
I am demanding immediate deletion of the inaccurate late payments associated with these accounts as I provide clear evidence from a Credit **************************** that they were inaccurately reported. I have kept a paper trail and documented evidence of all laws Equifax is violating, Equifaxs company has Treated my consumer information and my right to dispute inaccurate information poorly, Ive tried to handle the situation with Equifax and its hurting my ability as a consumer to obtain credit
Respectfully,If this matter is not resolved within the next 15 business days, I will take my evidence and escalate this issue with my State Attorney General
Equifax is currently in breach of several provisions of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and this complaint will remain unresolved until the inaccurate information is removed in full.

I have not been able to sign in to My Equifax for two full months. This began on May 27, 2025.The message I get is that for security reasons, I need to contact Customer ************************ have contacted Customer ********************** at ********************** a total of six times in the last two months, including speaking to a supervisor, and no one has been able to help. I have 6 case numbers that they gave me.They continue to tell me that their technical team needs to fix it and that I would get an email from them to enable me to sign in to my account.This is the worst Customer ********************** that I have encountered in the last 50 years.I asked Customer ********************** if the technical team was in the same building. They said yes, but they cannot go over there and they cannot contact them.I have paid for my family membership for several years, and Ive never encountered such a problem like this.
