Ive been using networx for 3 weeks. 9 leads and none of them were legit people looking for a new roof.*** spent more time fighting lead review trying to get my money back, than anything else with this company. Its a total scam. Im not sure how they get these leads, but 2 people i called said they filled out giveaway surveys.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH NETWORXBusiness Response

It is concerning to hear from any customer who has had a less than positive experience working with us. Unlike other claims that are difficult to substantiate, in this situation we can confirm that a large percentage of the leads you received were unqualified. Across the business we continue to discuss the need to deliver "real value and quality" to our customers. As of Monday 7/24/23 we took a very significant step towards this direction, pausing the relationship with several of our major affiliates. It came to our attention that in some cases the means to generate new leads did not align with the strict criteria we believed to be in place. These specific methods of acquiring new leads will remain paused until we are confident in the commitment to a quality and accurate customer experience. We believe this is an essential part in growing and becoming a leading and respected brand within our space. It's also part of our commitment to "doing the right thing" and of our value system, both as individuals and as a company. Please let us know what more we can do to make your experience better.

I am rejecting this response because:0 Thats right ZERO of the leads I've been given have been valid. Even after I've asked for my money returned and my account deactivated, I've been told i cannot be refunded so i have a lead credit. I decided to use it because( why not ?) right. So im still given leads that are completely fraudulant. One lady said she was told she could get a free or discounted roof. She wants to *** for false advertising. This is all too common for every lead ive received to either not respond when i reach out. Or every lead i have contacted has been mislead into believing false pretenses. NOT ONE SINGLE lead has been a legit customer wanting a new roof. ******************** IS A SCAM and i hope you all end up incarcerated!
Sincerely,

It's unfortunate to hear that you feel the original response did not address your concerns completely. it is completely understandable to be frustrated with the bad leads you received. However, to claim that we are a complete scam is simply untrue. At the time of responding to your initial complaint it was not clear you were seeking a refund. As mentioned previously, we are committed to doing the right thing by our customers, even in instances where we may no longer do business together. Therefore, we have refunded the remaining balance in your account to the card on file. Per your request, you will not receive any additional leads going forward.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:Even though I do appreciate a partial refund. The overall problem is I've spent more time arguing about leads that aren't worthy. Ive reported every single lead thats come my way to my knowledge. Now you have refunded just over $200 of my money to my card. What about the rest of my original $500 charge. Theres still almost $300 worth of leads that should have been credited to my account. Therefore the full $500 wouldve been credited to my card.
Sincerely,

I own and operate an Accredited business with the BBB with zero complaints, and all 5 star reviews. This Networx company are selling bad/fake appointments/leads to businesses including mine. I gave them over $4,000 for leads and never received a lead in which the customer answered or returned a phone call, email, and/or text. The people that did answer the phone (2 out of 100's) told me they had already replaced their roofs a year or longer ago. What Networx is doing is selling fake/old leads to small business owners like myself. When I contacted them to close my account, and refund the $1,000 left in my account, they told me they do not refund but I would get more leads. In just 4 days they ate up that thousand dollars with fake leads just to steal our money. We have tried calling all of these "fake leads" and the phone numbers are either not the right person, or no one responds. Buying leads is part of business, and we have very good relationships with other lead generating companies in which we get a return on and have been doing business with these companies for years. Networx are simply criminals, liars, and thief's. I want our marketing money back from these crooks.Business Response

It is concerning to hear this type of feedback but it appears some of these claims do not align with your account history. We understand you may have receied leads that did not work out. This is why we strive to provide high-quality leads to our contractors. However, we understand that sometimes leads may slip through our quality filters. In such situations, we are committed to providing prompt and fair resolution to all credit requests. Our records show that between the dates of 6/10/21 - 12/3/21 and 6/30/23 - 7/14/23 when you were actively using our service you received a total of 87 unique leads, in which 23 of those were credited back to your account balance. We do see you categorized a Roof Installation lead that was received on 9/27/21 as being closed. Congratulations on landing such a job. Therefore, while we understand that not being able to reach a homeowner on the phone is frustrating we feel that the claim of receiving hundreds of leads and then being denied credit is not accurate. When you spoke with our team on 7/13/23 requesting to close your account, we did attempt to understand the process you use to contact leads in an effort to improve the contact rate but ultimately closed your account per your request. At that time, the remaining funds in the balance were to be used for leads, as our membership agreement indicates. Please note that you still have full access to your online dashboard and mobile app where you can control your account anytime. This includes reporting any leads that fall within our credit policy if needed.

I am rejecting this response because: 95% of the leads received NEVER answer, nor respond back to our phone calls, emails, or texts. Your going to tell me its because I didn't respond fast enough? or your working on attaining better leads? What you do at Networx is criminal. I mean look at all these complaints, and bad reviews! Your motto is "give us a monthly budget, we eat that up with 95% junk leads, and maybe I will get one decent sellable lead out of 40, when I request a credit on a lead that never responds to us, it gets denied, because of your "policies". When I call in and cancel I'm told, NO REFUNDS. You stole $1,400.00 from my business, I will NOT settle this BBB matter until that money is refunded to my business.
Sincerely,

It appears that we share different views of the way a service such as this works. As previously mentioned, we take the matter of lead quality seriously and is why we have countless measures in place to screen and validate the information submitted through our site so that we only send leads that are actively looking for an estimate. You are right to be frustrated when unable to reach a homeowner, anyone would be. However, this does not necessarily constitute it as a bad lead. We feel it is important to mention that in the plan you signed up for each lead is sent to a maximum of 4 contractors. Being competitive in nature, at times another contractor may reach a lead more quickly. After further review of your account we identified 2 additional leads that did in fact have bad contact information. These leads have been credited back to your account balance, bringing your remaining balance to $211. In good faith we have refunded these funds back to the card on file. We hope this resolution is satisfactory and that we can part as friends.Customer Answer

I signed up with Nextworx today, and I didnt do any services with them and do not want to. I told networx id rather cancel, and get my $300 refund. The lady said ok your account has been canceled were refunding you the $300 now. LIESSSSSS! Theyve still activated my account anyway and started sending me leads to my email after I specifically told them not to and give me back my money. I dont want the services, and just want my $300 back!Business Response

This company has lots of complaints. They cheated me , practice bad ethic. Since canceled my networx they turned my chance to pause my profile. I have over ****** $ on there books. I needed to pause it due to a tumor surgery I have told them know I cannot do work on my own i told them my plumber does not work evenings and weekends so i cannot take calls. This all started when I told them do not use my credit card anymore, and they did. I filed claim with B. of A. They have caused hardship. They are very pushy . they say one thing but they don't mean it.Business Response

So sorry this has been your experience! I see you texted a member of our team this weekend and spoke with someone else this morning regarding the pause feature. The feature is not working properly and we thank you for being patient while we fixed the issue over the weekend. Your account is cancelled and remaining balance going towards leads with you having control to pause them as needed per your request. I am a homeowner who has not submitted a form to this company. I did a yelp review on a local roofing company a couple months ago. My husbands name on the yelp account but my phone number and email. I am being inundated in the past two days by roofing companies who tell me they got their lead from this company.Obviously this lead was lifted from my yelp review as I nor my husband never filled out a lead request. I have called networx customer service and asked them to stop, asked them to look into how this happened. i get stonewalled. ****** with no last name and no knowledge of who is in charge was last person I spoke with.I am tired of getting as many as 10 calls a day as a result of some overzealous lead generator at this company and deserve some kind of recourse. Who is the **** *********************** make it stop!! And it is not nice to scam contractors with fake leads!Business Response

We are sorry to hear of your experience. A manager will contact you to gather more information regarding your concern. To our knowledge Networx does not have a relationship with Yelp of this kind. Therefore we are not certain exactly how your information was submitted or shared with local contractors. Our intention is to connect homeowners who are actively seeking help from local professionals and not to share information with our customers that does not meet a specific criteria. This creates a bad experience not only for the homeowner (you) but for the pros that use our services (our customers). We look forward to resolving this issue for you as we imagine it is frustrating to receive unsolicited calls.Customer Answer

I am mostly okay with this response. I am saying that I believe networx lifted our information from somewhere. I want to know from where and how company will get all these contractors to stop calling me.Business Response

Your concern was escalated to our homeowner experience manager and you should have received a phone call by now. We have contacted this particular partner and requested they cease this form of engagement through their ads. As previously stated Networx did not collect your information but merely attempted to connect you with local contractors in our network using the contact info that was provided to us. We would encourage you to inform any business that does contact you that you are not in need of an estimate and to contact Networx for assistance.Customer Answer

In the beginning of June or the last of May I decided to give the lead generating company networx a try. They were persistent in trying to get my business so I finally gave in. Its a pre paid lead service and I have a gutter business. NETWORX IS A SCAM. In the middle of ********** 3 weeks in after I had paid them I still hadn't received the lead and I was going broke so I called them and asked them to refund my money they said that they could not refund my money then they said that they would check to see if they could refund my money then they came back and said that they could not refund my money because it is their policy nobody said anything in the beginning about no refunds if they would have said no refunds I would have took my business elsewhere. I called the prosecuting attorney in my town and they said to call the police and file a report so I filed a report with The sheriff's office in the county that I Live in. I've read other complaints about this company not refunding money and everything that they say on the replies to the complaints with the Better Business Bureau never addresses anything about refundant of money. Sure they will tell you that if you have a lead that is faker bogus that you can report it and I'll give you credit for that lead but they're not gonna give you your money back period I wouldn't Give anybody their money back either if I was running a con scam company like they are . If they don't refund my moneyI'm gonna take it to the Attorney GeneralAnd file a lawsuit I guess they have pending class action lawsuits already I should have done my research before I Attempted to do any kind of business with these people they literally stole $400 of my hard-earned money and will not give it backAnd over a month and a 1/2Since I've been with their company I have sold one lead and made $2000. I can't live off of $2000 A month this company needs to be shut down. The manager's name is ************ a real character Full of lies And deceit And deceitBusiness Response

It's concerning to see a complaint such as this from anyone. It sounds as if we really failed to meet your expectations. Networx is not a perfect fit for everyone but over the last 15+ years we continue to provide a tangible service that can bring customers real returns on their investments if used properly. Per your account history and details included in this complaint we see you opened the account on 6/9 and received 11 leads before closing the account on 6/15. We are thrilled to hear of the job you did close. It's understandable that the return on that job may not cover all of your personal and professional expenses. However, we are confident that your initial $400 investment in leads has been a success given your stated return on the job you did win. Currently there is $195 remaining in your balance that is to be used for leads. We realize for some that adjustments may need to be made during the first few weeks of using a service such as this and therefore reserve all initial funds to be used towards leads. You still retain full access to your online dashboard where you can control your account as needed. We wish you the best of luckInitial Complaint

This contractor referral company poses as as fake businesses via websites to collect consumer information and sell that information to contractors as "leads." I sought an estimate on roofing services from "****** and Sons - Voted #1 in *********" only to learn this business doesn't exist and then contacted by several businesses from whom I didn't request and estimate. I do not find this transparent business practice and think the BBB A+ rating is unwarranted.Business Response

I attempted to cancel our account with ********************** after unaccepted lead quality and ROI via email and was notified that someone will reach out to finalize the process. No one ever reached out so I called Networx only to speak with a representative named **** who began asking me multiple questions regarding our service to which was a sales attempt to talk us out of cancelling. After stating that I simply want to cancel the service he became difficult and argumentative and would not cancel my service. Never have had someone conduct themselves in the way that **** did on the call in a professional setting. Networx conducted themselves in an unethical manner and engaged in fraudulent behavior with our membership. We communicated to them over a month ago we wanted to terminate our contract and end our service. We set budget to zero and paused account (all their website allows; no option to cancel without their company support.)However, the company proceeded to unpause our account and charge us $750 the next month despite us cancelling the membership the previously. We called to verify cancellation and had a very difficult time reaching anyone, and when we did, they could never find our account or the $750 charge. We called numerous times over a period of five days and didn't get anywhere. Networx always old us someone would call us back to resolve and never did.We finally got someone on the phone today and the manager (****) insisted we/d never called before and the account hadn't been cancelled at all. We were assured the account was cancelled today but I'm still not so sure because they've told us that before. They also refuse to refund the $750 despite us already notifying them of cancellation and us not using their services since. This company simply refuses to do the right thing and continues to charge customers unethically after cancellation. They also refuse to refund despite their mistake, this is an example of how companies should not operate with customers. I certainly hope they don't continue to defraud other companies in need of their market's services. We've requested to speaker to one of the owners, ********, to further resolve the issue and we get absolutely nowhere.Business Response

Feedback such as this is most concerning, especially if you feel Networx behaved in an unethical or fraudulent manner. We value any and all feedback from customers and take claims of this nature seriously. Per the account history, our records show the only attempt to reach our support team regarding cancelation of the account was on 6/26/23. The account was closed at that time, per your request. It is possible you attempted to reach us from a number not associated with your account. However, at the time the request to cancel was received by our team the account was in fact closed. Please note that the remaining balance of $472.00 was also refunded to the card on file, per your request. We hope this has addressed your concerns.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: This response is simply not true nor is it accurate whatsoever. We manually zeroed our budget out and made us inactive on their website 27 days before the renewal date! Unfortunately, their website doesn't allow you to out right cancel, they require us to contact support. So we called Networx support and told them to cancel our account over a month ago.
Then we noticed a new charge for $750 where Networx renewed our account despite informing them we wanted to cancel weeks ago!
We called the correct phone number ************* multiple times over the course of a week to try to reach them but were unsuccessful in making any progress. We either couldn't get anyone on the phone or they would claim they couldn't find our account or they'd find our account but couldn't find any charges. And In fact the one thing I can give them credit for is finding their phone number is very easy. Not only did we have it on file at the office because we were a client of Networx, but if one were to ****** Networx Systems, that same phone number is prominently displayed all over the internet and on several websites. There are simply no other phone numbers to get confused with, the suggestion in Networx's response is a desperate attempt to deflect their bad business practices.
When we finally did reach someone who could locate our account and the charges; they were unprofessional and argumentative, claiming we never called. Then when we finally reached a supervisor, he was even more argumentative and didn't even have a record of the previous call. He then proceeded to inform me that they do not do refunds under any circumstance, despite this fraudulent renewal charge of $750.
We should have been credited back the full $750, not a partial amount. We need to be credited back the full amount, anything less than that is simply unethical and not in good business practice. Our main concern is not only getting fully paid back for services we didn't want or use, but to make sure Networx does not continue to fraudulently charge other companies additional months of undesired and unused services. The business community needs to be made aware, these practices are unacceptable.
Sincerely,

We realize you feel as if Networx took actions with your account without approval or consent but this is not the case. Per the account history, the account was paused on 5/24/23 through 06/21/23 via your online dashboard. On 6/19/23 you received an email reminder informing you that the account would resume on 6/21/23 and the budget would be refilled at that time. After the account resumed we did receive two calls on 6/26/23 at which time your account was closed. We understand any frustration this may have caused you. However, the claim that you were charged fraudulently is inaccurate. Lastly, we feel it is important to mention that upon activating your account you also received an additional $400 credit towards leads during the first 30 days. We wish you all the best and consider this matter closed at this time.Customer Answer

We do not consider this matter closed; if we are not credited the full amount we will exhaust all other options within our legal rights to be paid in full in addition to filing complaints with every single regulatory board, public forum, governmental agency and organization that oversees or documents Networx business practices.Respectfully,

This company has their employees ****** random companies in an attempt to sell "leads". We have received at minimum 9 phone calls from their employees in the last week. We always request to be put on their Do Not Call list, only to be told they don't have one. I called in and messaged in to the actual company today, and each of the people I spoke with attempted to sales pitch me after I clearly stated I needed to speak with someone about not receiving phone calls from them anymore.I am incredibly tired of wasting my time with this company.Business Response

BBB asks third parties who publish complaints, reviews and/or responses on this website to affirm that the information provided is accurate. However, BBB does not verify the accuracy of information provided by third parties, and does not guarantee the accuracy of any information in Business Profiles.
When considering complaint information, please take into account the company's size and volume of transactions, and understand that the nature of complaints and a firm's responses to them are often more important than the number of complaints.
BBB Business Profiles generally cover a three-year reporting period, except for customer reviews. Customer reviews posted prior to July 5, 2024, will no longer be published when they reach three years from their submission date. Customer reviews posted on/after July 5, 2024, will be published indefinitely unless otherwise voluntarily retracted by the user who submitted the content, or BBB no longer believes the review is authentic. BBB Business Profiles are subject to change at any time. If you choose to do business with this company, please let them know that you checked their record with BBB.
As a matter of policy, BBB does not endorse any product, service or business. Businesses are under no obligation to seek BBB accreditation, and some businesses are not accredited because they have not sought BBB accreditation. BBB charges a fee for BBB Accreditation. This fee supports BBB's efforts to fulfill its mission of advancing marketplace trust.
