2 starsI wasnt aware when googling the hotel I got a 3rd party. As she was reading off I started getting concerned because of the questions. I asked if this was the Fredonia and she was Not honest about who she was. I come in with a company that has corporate rate and when I kept questioning she avoided and ran through the process and hung up. I called the hotel and was told it was booked through *******. 1 starWhen I called what I thought was the number directly to the *********** in *********, **************, I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights with the person on the phone. I specifically asked the agent twice if I was speaking directly to the hotel when I first made the reservations and he lied and told me yes. They are very good at making you believe you are speaking directly with the hotel. My husband has Parkinsons disease and has decided he is just not up for the trip to his sisters for Thanksgiving. When I called the number to cancel the reservations is when I found out it was made through this company *************. They went ahead and charged $714 to my credit card for 2 rooms for 2 nights. I need assistance getting my money returned. They were not supposed to even charge my credit card until check in. Even calling the hotel directly you can get a full refund as long as you cancel 24 hours before check in. This is totally unfair to consumers. Please help with this matter. 1 starHotel planner lies and overcharges. They tell people they work at the hotel, they don't. They don't tell people they charge a fee. I was charged $206.20. When I got to the hotel, I asked about it and was told I should've have been charged 129.00 + $25.00 for my pup + tax, not the 206.20 that I was charged. Make sure that you call the hotel directly or you'll get screwed .If I could, I'd leave 0 stars.Review fromKatie L
