*** has harassed me and sent threatening messages such as the one attached claiming they were with a bail bondsman. The message was clearly sent from a store phone. Money is tight for everyone and I am no exception. I admit that I didnt communicate to the best of my ability but this behavior from RnR is unacceptable. I made a payment in full on 8/10/2023 to bring my account current and when I got into my online portal, I saw that online payments had been disabled! For what reason? Paying online is easiest for me. It seems like they dont want their money that badly if they are taking that away for no reason. I will NEVER recommend RnR to ANYONE.

Yes, I went in to purchase rims and tires from the gentleman was helping me told me about the six months same as cash price and I said I would do that paying $600 a month for six months and there was one time I was late a day or two and he said not to worry about it. It would not matter he would make sure it was good Come a week payment after the six months was up the price I doubled of what he said he was going to sell them to me for then he contacts his manager after I argue with him about it and finally comes up with a price of $1100 he would settle for that day And he said if I wanted I could just pay that amount out until I was ready to just pay it off so I go back in yesterday which I shouldve hold about $600 left on it and now theyre telling me it was $1500 and its just one lie after another and the price goes up every time you go in there

I purchased 4 tires last year in the first week of November. They claimed that they had done and alignment on my vehicle, but when i got inside my vehicle the steering wheel was not centered right, and that caused my sensor to be on and not allow me to use my cruise control. Well after about a month and a half went by and I had to go back to the shop and tell them that the inside of the front tires were being wore down awfully quick. To which they responded to me that it wasn't something they done wrong and told me to take it to a specific shop to check my front end. I felt like they had told me to do that so they wouldn't be held reliable for the damages done to the tires. So I did take it to another shop and had it aligned properly but the tires have had significant damage since then. They call and harass me and send me threatening text messages about my payments. But on the first of this month they ran an unauthorized payment the day after they asked when I was coming in or calling in to make my payment. I had not given them the permission to store my card information and had always called in to make the payments. This has overdrafted my account and I am not happy with this business at all. I would like a refund for the ****** and also would like a replacement of tires that th they said weren't damaged because of them. After taking to a different shop and having my tires aligned properly I haven't had any other trouble with them wearing down, so that should tell you something, even so the tires are severely worn down on the inside. When I have a problem with their shop they always make some excuse to why it's not caused by them. But the charge that I didn't authorize is my main concern. I need a refund urgently, and I'm ready to start the charge back process if it's not resolved in a timely manner. I have text messages from the company that can verify all that I have said. Thanks

Our General Manager has been attempting to reach this customer through the telephone number provided, however, it appears to be off or not in service.  The General Manager will order 2 replacement tires.  He will refund the last payment received once the customer can contact the store and work out payment details with the General Manager.  Reversing the current payment will make the customer delinquent.

I am rejecting this response because:

Okay so I filed a complaint against this company a little over a week ago. Since then I had heard back from someone at the company telling me that they have been trying to get in touch with me in regards to the previous complaint and that they had spoke with the general manager here in ********** ********* in order to replace my front two tires and to further discuss a refund of the money that was taken out of my bank account illegally because they stored my card information after I specifically told them not to. Well the general manager has fulfilled the replacement of the two tires, but I have left multiple messages with ************** and I have yet to hear back from him on the refund that I was promised as soon as I got in contact with the store and wanted to figure out payment options. Well I've been calling him for over 4 days and he hasn't tried once to contact me back. I believe this is a breach of contract because they aren't keeping up with their end of the deal. I still want my refund and need for the general manager to contact me on this issue promptly or I'll find other measures to recover the money that was illegally taken out of my account while I was current on my payments.

      Sincerely,

      Complaint: 20443869

I am rejecting this response because:

I filed a complaint with this company for making a payment with my card unauthorized. My card was not supposed to be on file and they stored my information without my permission. I also had two tires that were wore down bad on the front of my vehicle due to an improper alignment on the front end. I had talked to the manager of the ********** ********* store and they did replace my two tires, but the manager also claimed that he would refund me the money that was taken out of my account unauthorized when I called in to talk to him about a payment arrangement. Well while speaking to him I told him that I had previously told his billing ***** Destiny specifically that I no longer wanted my card on file and I had even told them on the first of this month that i wanted the card removed but it was still on file as of today. The general manager told me that he assured me that it was now deleted for sure. But there was no refund of any of the money that was taken out of my checking account on the first. I am not happy about this because I was told I would get a refund after making other payment arrangements. The general manager just claimed that there was nothing he could do for me to help me with this issue. I am not going to use their company again and will take my business elsewhere seeing as they can't keep their word on what they said they would do. I am attaching a screenshot of the what they claimed they would do for me and they only done the tire replacement. I want further action with my claim. I feel that you should give your customers what they were told they would get. Not tell them that you can't do anything to help them when it was the company who was at fault to begin with. Finish the job.

This is the worst place to buy tires from . I've bought 3 or 4 other sets from them . But! Never again, ever .. I had a blowout and had my truck towed to the shop . When I walked in the door one of the guys greeted me like always. I told him about what happened and he immediately told me I was going to have to wait for a till they ordered a insurance tire . I didn't buy a insurance tire I bout a regular tire . He said he couldn't split up a set when I asked ,can't you just give me a tire that you have and replace it with the new one when it comes in? He said nope thats not how they operate. What is the difference ??. And why do I have to wait for a tire when there was obviously plenty of the same tire in stock . They ****. Nothing has been done to handle this . I haven't even heard from them. I'm paying over ******* on tires and I'm riding on a spare

On July 25,2023 at 14:17 I paid RNR Tires Express $2000.00 for a set of wheels and brand new tires. I picked up two of the wheels and tires to take with me to put on my car. I drove the ******************************************************************** the special lug nuts to put the wheels on. I had to drive the 30 min back to attempt to return the wheels. They told me no, turn around and a tech will meet you. So I make the 30 min trip again. I wait almost an hour and a half in the heat for a tech. He gets there and installs the 2 wheels and i put the other two in my car. He left and I take my car home. I go to get in my car the next day and have a flat. I take the wheels off and just want to return them. The tires are not new like I asked for and the tire that went flat is on a wheel that has curb rash and is cracked. I was not told about this defect or shown anything like this when purchasing. I was lead to believe I was getting new items. I bring everything back to the store to return. I sign all the return documents and take all of the items into their shop. Then they tell me that I can not return them. I told them that I was not given anything new, it was used tires and wheels and one of them is broken at that. $2000 is a lot of money to pay for something that I can't use. They told me they will not refund any of my money. They kept the 1 cracked wheel that they claim to be fixing.

On 8/3/2023 I spoke with an associate at RnR tires about voluntarily bringing tires I purchased back, after 6 months of payments. I no longer needed the size I had and wasnt impressed with the quality. We agreed Id bring them back today 8/4/2023 until the manager got mouthy and I asked what they were going to do. Rather than waiting for me to bring them in as I had agreed to, they showed up that evening. The manager damaged my car while I witnessed it and got in my car and started rummaging through my glovebox. I told him to get out of my car immediately to which he told me he didnt have to he was looking for the wheel key. My wheel key isnt even in there, which I told him and went and got it out of my shop. Because this upset him, he ****ed my car up by the door frame, not the **** points made for just that, and then dropped my car (photo and video proof of him in my car and how he ****ed it up). They left junk tires under my car and its so low on the ground I cant even **** it up to put my other set under it. They also took my factory rims with them and told me to come get them. I dont want their garbage tires on my property, and I dont know if he took anything out of my car or not but he had no business IN my car. He dropped it purely out of spite because I made him look like a fool for how he ****ed it up.

I received a message this morning about this issue.  I talked to the store about the issue.  The customer said we would get our product when the customer wanted to give it back.  We went out to the customer's residence and met with the customer's partner yelling and cursing them out!  The customer's car was already on a lift of sorts.  We had to take our stuff quickly.  We did have to get the key.  I tried to call the customer but they would not take my call or return my call.

      Complaint: 20423484

I am rejecting this response because:
It is inaccurate. When I first met with **** (who didnt know how to **** my car up) I said really? I told you Id bring them in tomorrow - see screenshots of conversation. Me asking or what was a question, not Ill return them when I want which I never said.
see screenshot of cal log, no calls from RnR prior to showing up, no texts either and conversation ended with my question.

I was decent to him until he mouthed off sbout well if youd pay your bill - I was returning the tires because I no longer need them, I had cash on me to pay the entire balance, but because he wanted to say that and attempt to embarrass me, absolutely not.
My car was on a set of ramps prior to ***** fumbled attempts at ****ing it up. Yes he needdd the key, but I was standing right there and he never asked me for it, just took it upon himself to open my car door and glovebox. The key wasnt in there it was in my toolbox in the shop and after telling him to get the f out of my car I went and got him the key voluntarily.

I told him not to hack my car up by the door frame that it had a **** point and he talked down to me, I absolutely blew up here and he told me he isnt responsible if he damages my car.
accidental damage is one thing, blatantly being told it has places designed to **** it up by because its a unibody and doesnt have a frame where he ****ed it is another. He willfully damaged my car after I not only showed him where the **** point was but asked and told him to stop repeatedly.

as far as getting them quickly, they spent almost an hour messing with it. He left my car sitting on the rear control arms and brake rotors on trash tires they brought with them. My car is so low on the ground I cant get a **** under it to relieve it from being dumped the way it is.

had they actually called me or informed me they intenddd on showing up Id have at least had adequate blocks to sit my car on.
I have a tire machine at my house, as I explained in the texts I could pull the tires and return them without them taking my rims,  it **** chose to show up unannounced and not only attempt to embarrass me, but to damage my car and enter my car without my permission. I should file criminal damage charges on him after his comment that he could damage my car any way he wants because of the company contract. I am sure the contract doesnt cover intentional damage, which I and several others including another RnR employee witnessed.
      Sincerely,

We have reviewed the response of this customer.  We have advised the customer that we were willing to pay for the pinch weld repair and that is all that we are willing to do.  We will not pay for other repairs to a vehicle that is 27 years old and over the course of time will have natural damage from day to day use.  We will also waive the past due amount that the customer owed prior to us picking up our merchandise.  The customer had the opportunity to bring this vehicle to our place of business where we could use the equipment designed to make the deinstallation easy.  However, the customer decided not to do that.  In one of the text that was provided, it was stated that if we came and repossessed the merchandise that it would save her 40 miles of driving.  We do not want to deinstall merchandise in the field and only do on the rare occasions where other solutions and attempted methods of recovery have failed.  According to our contract, we have the right to recover our property if the customer does not return the merchandise or honors the contract terms.  That is what we did in this case.  If our employee(s) made errors during the recovery, we will address those internally.  We considered this matter closed on our end pending estimates of a single pinch weld repair from the customer.

On 7/26/23 I went to RNR tire express in ********, ** to have my rims replaced on my car. The rims that I received a picture of I was quoted for new rims in stock. I choose the rent to own option so after they installed my rims and I returned to pick up my car the sales guy was going over my lease agreement and at no point did he tell me that they were used. After walking out to leave I inspected my rims and realized that they were scuffed up and had red paint/color on them. So I asked another worker, what happened? He explained that the rims were used. I told him that I was not aware of this and asked for the sales guy that was assisting me. He then came out and I asked him why I was not told that they were used. He quickly passed it off to another employee saying he was following what the guy said to him. I explained that was not the issue. The issue was that he did not inform me that the rims were used and it is illegal to sell someone a product without informing them of that. I asked to speak to the owner and he said they were both not there on the weekend but would have one of them call me back on Monday. Which they did not do. I finally spoke to one of the owners *****?? and after I explained the situation she told me I should've known they were used because they had tires mounted on them. I said it is not my job to know that but it was their job to inform me of it legally and provide me with a warranty which they did not. She continued to get defensive and try and pass it off as my fault instead of her employees. At no point did she try and resolve the issue. She actually told me to bring back her merchandise after I paid $200 of the $880 for the rent to own option and that it belonged to her. The business has not only not tried to resolve the issue but tried to blame me for not knowing when I was quoted and told that they were new rims in stock. Not used rims.

On 7/29/23 ******* came into RNR Tire Express with the intent to purchase a set of wheels. Per two of my employees ******* was told the wheels were used and had the product pointed out to her. She confirmed that those were the ones she wanted so per request we installed them on her vehicle.Upon ******* returning to the store to pick up her vehicle, she looked at her car then came into the store to sign her lease agreement with us. Attached is a copy of the lease agreement she signed with an employee of the store. In that lease agreement it clearly states the product description, and the condition of the product is used (on page 1 section 3). Once she got ready to leave is when she became unhappy with her purchase.

On Tuesday 8/01/23 Casee my business partner spoke to *******. She kept stating to Casee that she wanted us as the owners of this store to say that we illegally sold her used product as new. You can clearly see in the lease agreement that we were up front about the products condition.***** offered to order her a new set of wheels of her choice, and she declined.***** also offered her to return the product to the store if she no longer wanted them which it clearly states in our lease agreement that she can do with no penalties or fees which she also declined and stated the wheels belonged to her now as she had already signed the lease agreement with us.

I went to the business to get new struts and shocks put on my vehicle, while they were doing that they broke an axel, when they broke ******** they broke the ceil that connects to my transmission and didnt fix it so my transmission blew while I was driving it. They have been giving me the run around on getting my vehicle fixed and getting me a rental car. I have missed 4 days of work because they keep promising me a rental car and then calling me giving me a story as to why they cant get a rental car and as to why they keep moving my vehicle from shop to shop. When I call corporate no one calls me back, the store manager in my area is no help and does not find my issue to be an important matter. I am missing money and without a vehicle because a mistake they made.

I started doing business with RNR Tire on July 15, 2023. I put a down payment of $20 for 4 new tires on our 2013 Nissan Rogue. On July 19, 2023 the left front tire was low of air and the TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR warning light came on due to the low air pressure. I called the Roadside Assistance that RNR Tire offered when I bought the tires to help out with the low tire. The gentlemen came to install my spare tire and I noticed the spare was very low of air pressure after it was installed in the car once the lift jack was removed. The spare tire apparently was no good and had a blow out in the parking lot after the gentlemen had left and I got in the car to drive away. So I called the Roadside Assistance once more to get help with a tow truck since I was stranded without any other tire or spare tire. The Roadside Assistance said I could not get any help that night for 72 hours after the first call since I had already made a call one that day. So I had to call Lubbock Wrecker to tow my car to RNR Tire on North University where I purchased the tires and is charged $110 out of my pocket just because Roadside would not help me again that day being that the gentlemen that came to help had said the spare tire looked really low. So then I called my wife to pick me up at the location where the car was. July 20th RNR Tire repaired the tire, thankfully, so then I go to pick up the car at RNR Tire and noticed that the valve stem did not match the other 3 valve stems on the car. Still there at RNR Tire I get in the car to start then I noticed the TPS light was on. So I went to tell the salesman and he looked at the car and went to talk to his technician. He came back and said to drive it at least 20 miles and maybe the warning light will turn off. So I drove the car and it never did turn off. So I go back and talk to the assistant manager. He said he would take care of it. Waited there 30 minutes then to find out from the technician that the TPS sensor was broken since the 1st time.

Customer purchased product from one of our Lubbock locations and within a week caught a flat tire. He proceeded to use the roadside service which came out to him and put his spare on. The spare blew out not long after it was installed leaving the vehicle stranded. Our roadside service will only offer one free service every so many days. Customer paid to have the vehicle towed to us. When we had possession of the vehicle, we replaced the damaged tire. The sensor at was damaged when it was brought in by the customer as well due to it going flat. We notified the customer and put a regular stem in the tire since the customer refused to purchase one. We will agree to put in a new sensor in for this customer if he returns to our store so we can do this service for him.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: there's 3 things that are mentioned not true! Roadside Service offers service 72 hours after one call only. This needs to be advised with sales person explaining roadside service to customers. If I knew about the 72 hour wait time I would have asked for a tow to get my car to RNR Tire instead of spare being installed. When RNR Tire was aware of my car being at there location the following morning the new tire in the hatchback of my car was not completely flat damaging the TPS Sensor which RNR Tire claims it was damaged due to being flat. The tire was not completely flat or driven flat. I contacted Roadside because I did not want to ruin the tire by driving with low air pressure. There wasn't anything wrong with the tire or TPS Sensor at the time of being towed to RNR Tire. I was not contacted about the TPS sensor valve being damaged or the tire being damaged for it to be replaced. I noticed the TPS light on upon picking up my vehicle and mentioned to **** (sales person) before I left the parking lot and was advised to drive for at least 20 miles for the sensor to reset while driving. I drive for 2 days and TPS light still on. I returned and **** and there mechanic attempted to clear sensor code but could not clear. Again, **** mentioned to drive for 20 miles or so. TPS light still on! Went back for the 3rd time to attempt to get this TPS light off. **** came to me after being there for 40 minutes to finally attempt to show me a sensor that was not even from my vehicle claiming that's the reason the technician installed a regular valve stem. I was never notified about the TPS sensor being damaged. I believe the technician damaged upon removing the new tire. According to one of the front employees the technician was new to RNR Tire and was still getting things down with the new job. After 3rd attempt to get my car going I went ahead and bought the TPS Sensor from O'Reillys in order for the TPS light to come off. Still light was on after installation of new sensor after being told there was no TPS Sensor in the left front tire. This whole deal is just not a good deal from the start. Again, I want full refund of the TPS sensor I bought from O'Reillys $75 (proof of receipts provided) full refund of LUBBOCK WRECKER SERVICES $110 charge (receipt attached) after I paid out of my pocket since roadside failed me when I needed them the most. Stranded!!!  Also, agree to settle tires paid in full for compensation of ALL my emotional breakdowns, distress due to all that has occurred. I am disabled and do not need to be treated or given the run around when I'm doing business with a business that suppose to be professionally staffed. If we cannot come to an agreement I will need to pursue in Small Claims Court.

      Sincerely,

      ***** *******
