On 4/29/2023 me and my wife went to purchase both tires and rims for her 2016 Yukon XL. When we told by the young man L we planned to pay it off but then we were told if paid off that we would have to deal with the rim company for the rims and the tire company for the tires if anything happened to them. We were told we can get a rotate and balance and all the bells and whistles if we make payments. Oh boy how we wish we would have paid them off. We put ******* down ****** a month and we went with the 6 months same as cash plan. Well with this plan they get you because they tell you and they told us our payment started in two weeks right? Well what they dont tell you by the store manager is the contact you signed starts the day you signed not when the payments start which will get anyone not paying by the contract date a late fee. But the young lady helping us gave us the two weeks extension so our contract started the day we made our first payment. We have pictures of what we only owned which was ******. So the store manger threaten my husband to come repossess the tires and rims if we didnt pay ****** instead of the ****** which was all we owed pictured below. The store manager ********************* is a very mean vindictive man he and threatens customers, he also treats his employees like garbage. I witnessed customers call the store to make sure he is not there before they come in to the store to pay their bill because he talks to folks anyway being rude and embarrassing to customers and employees. The girls that work there dont have the corporate store number because their not allowed to have it which is sketchy I say probably for fear they would complain about him. So not only does this store manager punish customers like us with having to pay even more money that was owed after I was told I only owed ****** this has happened to other customers and their hard earn money? Im sorry I didnt look up the rating on this business first. F is not good. They owe us ******Business Response

The following is a statement/response from the Store Manager, ************************
Not a whole lot of memory on this one. He paid auto and wasnt late so i had very little contact with him until the end. Everything was reviewed with Mr. ***** to make sure everything was done right.
We sent required documentation to ***** for review. He was paid in full by ***** last payment.
I asked **** also and pretty much the same. Missed date, paid extension then paid out.
As it relates to any interaction I have had with any customer is *******************. No raising of voice, no use of profanity or humiliating a customer .
We do explain the agreement as it relates to non-payment and what could happen.Return of property, etc.
We dont **** on certain things, and this was one. I did get a second opinion on this customer before we told him the amount. I dont remember giving him anything in writing that would justify a different amount.

I am rejecting this response because: this is a lie. *********************** had no dealing with me except on the phone when he threatened to come to my house and repo the rims and tires. They never give paper work or explain the due date unless you specifically ask then they only give you the top piece of the Contract that has no information. We had one that payment left and it took them almost 2 weeks to figure out what we had left to pay and Im the only that contacted them them back because no one called us back to inform us about of anything. This is Mr ****** little game he plays with the customers because Im not the only one read the reviews and complaints. My wife called **** and ****** and was told both times that the paper work was under review so if we were late it was because no one could tell us what was owed but my wife kept up with all the payments and we only owed ******. He threaten to come take the tires told me we owed ****** which we paid on 11-11-23. I attached what I was sent what was actually owed. *********************** makes bonuses off people being late. ****** is the one that review the paperwork. I believe ***** is a made up name. ****** knew how much we owed because she sent the photo about explaining how much they figure we owed. The paperwork doesnt lie.

I financed a set of Nexen Roadian ATX tires from RNR tire in ****** ** in March 2023 and am paying $63 a week for them. I was told the tires had a 60k tread ware warranty. For over a month I have tried to get warranty information on the tires because the tread on them have worn very fast even though I did the rotates regularly with RNR tires but no one at RNR tire wants to help. There's not even 20k on the tires yet and there's not much tread left. Ever time I call I get told they are 2 busy to deal with it. On 12/23 I talked to a woman named ******** and she told me that the tires do not have a warranty which is a lie. I asked her to email or mail me my paper work for the tires since I never got anything from them. Their printer was messed up the day I purchased the tires and they were supposed to mail me my paperwork when they got it fixed but of course they never did. I asked ******** what my interest rate was since in ********** you can not charge over 36% interest per state law but ******** refused to tell me my interest rate. She said they have the ****** ********** store listed under ***** laws and that's what they go by. I'm not sure how a business located in ********** can go by ***** laws. Makes no sense. I ended up having to buy brand new tires because RNR tire refused to do anything about the tires I bought from that are still under warranty. I have paid around $2700 for the tires because they are illegally charging way more interest than the state of ********** allows. I told them I can not pay anymore and that I will turn the tires in to them since they are so worn and still under warranty. ******** told me if I didn't keep paying that they would file crimanal charges against me and that I could be arrested. I again asked her how much longer do I need to make payments and what's the interest rate that are charging and she still refuses to tell me. I purchased 4 new tires from the ************ location of RNR Tire Express in November 2022. I have been making payments for over a year now, which according to the payment schedule puts my total paid at $3,200 for $1,600 worth of tires. I have requested documentation from the local store to determine why there is such a large discrepancy in what I believe should be owed and what the company says is owed. I have since disabled my account for them to auto draft the payments until I receive the requested documents. A **** texted me and my three references threatening criminal action for non-payment. I again requested a copy of my contract and complete transaction history so I can clear up my account. **** refuses to provide the documents unless I come into the store to retrieve them, which I explained was not conducive to my work schedule and that per RNR Tires Privacy and ********** Communications Policy listed on their website, the company is authorized and does use electronic communication for agreements, notices, and any other form of communication. **** continued to refuse to send the requested documents, and now has ceased responding to my text messaging. I have also reached out through the Contact Us and Text Us links on their website and have not had any response. I dont have a problem with getting my account back to good standing, either by catching up the past due balance, or surrendering the tires, but I need this documentation to make an informed decision on what course to take next.Business Response

Mr. and ***************** purchased wheels and tires with RNR at our *** Road location on 8-1-22. The wheel and tire purchased were placed on ******************** vehicle a 2016 Lexus LS. **************** was offered an early payout on 9-19-23 and his account was paid in full. We have serviced ******************** vehicle at two different locations. Our techs have indicated that the wheels are "bent" due to **************** having hit potholes or other road hazards (manhole covers etc) while driving the car. **************** went to our Colonial Rd location on or about the week of 11-25-23 and our Senior Tech ***** did a full inspection and replaced 4 of the wheel hub centering rings to help reduce the vibration. ***** showed **************** the three bent wheels (one wheel was perfect- the one he purchased 11-20-23) and that the bent wheels caused **************** car to drive with a vibration. ***** further explained that the wheels could not be fixed, they needed to be replaced. The original four wheels were in perfect condition when installed and ******************** car on 8-1-22, and **************** did purchase one replacement wheel and tire (to replace one that was damaged) at our *********** store on 11-20-23. In an effort to help ****************, we have offered to replace the wheels and all **************** will need to pay in cash, is our landed cost. **************** will need to contact the *********** Store at ************ and ask to speak to *** (General Manager) and set a ************* to visit the store to review options. *** is aware of the situation and will work with **************** to resolve.

Three weeks ago their employee at ********* **** location was test driving my car and got into an accident. I was promised insurance information be sent to me. I have not heard from anyone regarding this! I went in to make a payment on my tires and was told said employee no longer works there. I am disgusted by the way this location is ran. An employee even mentioned that they can't believe I'm making payments on my tires he said you should be given them for my hassle. ************ was on a test drive due to finishing an alignment on the customer vehicle. While on the drive on a straight away road with no signs or lights indicating ************ had the right-away of travel. A worker at ************* also, in a customer vehicle pulls out of the dealership lot peaking around a semi-truck and strikes ************ in our customer's vehicle. An accident report was filled out at the scene where ************ and another member of our staff from one of our stores provided the officers with any information including, insurance information. On the accident report that was issued to all parties, there was a ticket number where, the officers on duty told each party if, they had any questions or concerns to utilize the report and the ticket number that was provided. The officers on scene stated there would be an investigation and upon the conclusion, it would be determined who would be at fault. ********************** stated in her experience, if a person has the right of way and gets hit by another, it is the other party who is at fault. Mrs. *** requested from one of our employees a short time later that, she would like our insurance information. A request was sent out for advice on what information of ours that could help her out and was reminded, all information needed was provided to the officers and on the report they were all given along, with the ticket number provided for all questions. Since then, *************, which is the employer of the party that hit ************, had given her a quote for damage significantly higher than original thought, ordered her parts and set a date to fix it for her. RnR Tires Express is also deducting an amount off of her agreement as well to try to help with what we can for the inconvenience.

We had a new business open close to my home, in ******, ********. My car was acting up and I wanted to get a new front left tire and alignment. This business convinced me just to finance the four tires, and it included road side assistance, lifetime rotate and balance and alignments. However, once we got the tires- they could not do the alignment because they said the tie rods were messed up. We had a mechanic fix it, over 800 dollars, we went back to RnR and they said the same thing. We said, we had that fixed the day before!! Then he came up with the ball joints were messed up. My mechanic said neither one of these things were the problem. Now I owe this business for tires, over **** dollars in repairs I paid for - that I DID NOT need. The problem still isnt fixed. I purchased tires on 3/4/2023 on 6 months Same as Cash. Set up automatic payments with RNR tires. The total amount on the agreement is $1,036.00 for 4 tires. I was not aware that there were any missed payments until the store contacted my husband and we updated our credit card immediately. No further issues discussed, the lady on the phone processed the payment and continued payments. Never mentioned any other issues. I questioned on 11/21/2023 when I discovered I am still being charged for RNR weekly so I called the store where I purchased the tires. I was told by the first male I spoke to that my contract was paid and I was due a refund. He then put me back on hold. The manager, ***** the got on the phone and told me I was not due a refund. He said I was late on my contract. I asked how. He said in July I didnt make several payments. I informed him I was not aware of any issues until RNR called, we provided our card and they processed our payment and no one told us at that time that any other payments were missed. I asked him what my contract was for 6 months same as cash, he said $1,036.00. I asked what have I paid to date? He replied about $1,111.00. I went through my bank account. What i paid was $1,623.35 which includes **** fee they took out separately. If that is deducted, the total I have paid to date is $1,549.29 same as cash. He said my account is paid in full and h*** close it. He said h*** refund 2 payments of $50.32. He refuses to explain why I am being over charged ******. (I have included proof from my bank. We have attempted to contact this customer multiple times to discuss this concern. The phone rings and goes to voicemail each time and no voicemail massage can be left. What the customer failed to mention in their complaint is that they missed 2 full months of payments putting them well off their 6 month same as cash time schedule. When we were finally able to get back into contact with them, they did start back up making their payment as they should. When they inquired as to why they were still making payments even though 6 months had passed we let them know they had missed their same as cash time period due to the long gap in payments received. In the interest of going above and beyond for this customer, we went back and honored the 6 month same as cash payoff for them. The amount they paid was exactly to the ***** what they should have paid based on their contract and the 6 month same as cash offering. The amount they paid over the rent amount was sales tax and the fees associated with the alignment and coverage they receive for the tires. By the terms of the contract they agreed to, they should have paid a larger sum. We feel like we went well out of our way to resolve the situation to the benefit of the customer.Initial Complaint

I went in to buy tires because they advertised 4 tires 20 dollars a week. I asked the associate how to get that deal and they said I just had to pay 6 dollars down so I did and got the tires put on well when my payment came do two weeks later it was 76 dollars instead of 40 dollars I asked the payment clerk and all she would do is repeat that they have never had a deal that low and when I said thats what the commercial said and the associate I dealt with told me and she just kept repeating the payment is the payment.Business Response

They took an unauthorized payment out of my account, caused overdraft and late fees. they know it happened and admitted it was there fault but have done nothing to remedy it. I am rejecting this response because:This company before took an unauthorized payment on 12th of the month and caused some overdraft fees. I did talk to someone and ask to be removed from reoccuring payments because they also texted me on due date and I would authorize them to take a payment. Every single time because I am paid Bi Monthly and they could not set the payments up for my pay schedule. but then that payment was ran on 12th. I filed a complaint and really nothing was done. They gave me 50 dollars cash to make up for the 105 dollars they cause in overdraft due to taking payment on wrong day. They also only got partial payment so they said they credited my account 126 that was still due on payment(they took 60 dollars of 180 payment) and I amde it very clear to take me off auto payments and i was fine and moving forward. Then next payment they just took automatically with out telling me. I told them I mad it clear I wanted off the auto pay with the last incident the response from them is attached. I cant beleive they just do whatever they want. It cant be legal just to put someone back on auto pay without permission. Also they never credited my account The 126 they said they did, it has not came off my balance, nor did the down payment i made. 100 dollars and they matched 100 so total of 200 down payment

This was the first complaint, i have made another because after this one was what I thought taken care of , they took a payment when I asked to be taken of reoccuring auto payment
I did in fact speak to someone on this complaint and they said they would push my payment to the 15th to get me back on track, now mind you the reason I couldnt make a full payment was because they took a payment out on the 12th instead of when I pay which is the 15 th and 30 th , caused 140 dollars in overdraft fees, they did give me 50 dollars cash and pushed out the payment till my next payday. (stil owed full amount even after they caused it. I have a text saying they credited my account but they didnt, its still on balance
I asked to be taken off auto reoccuring payments because they blamed the "system" for taking the payment. I was assured by the store and by regional manager i was.
NOw leads me to december 01-they took a payment before I could say yes and move the money from one account to the one they have on file and they ran the payment. SO once again caused a 35 dollar over draft fee. attached is where they put me back on reoccuring WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.

I am rejecting this response because:
i spoke to the regional manager and not one issue was resolved you caused a bunch of over draft fees, offered 50 dollars and then pushed a payment out , that even though you caused a bunch of fees I still had to pay. You have since then took another unauthorized payment and just said oh well. There are no consequences for what you have done at all. You act as though you did me a favor by pushing a payment out WHEN YOU CAUSED THE WHOLE THING. Just the audacity that this company has is just unprofessional and absolutely not worth it . They also have not given me a credit of ****** like that said( i have texts) and my down payment has not came off the full amount, i am returning everything today even though I am well over 1/2 paid off because of how they have treated me.

I had purchased tires from RNR on December 16, 2022 and was doing the payment plan and paying biweekly. When I bought the tires I was told if I paid within 6 months it would be same as cash and my total would only be $340. Strangely, after the 6 months passed and I had paid the balance off I noticed I was still paying every other Saturday for the tires still. When I contacted the business I was told they haven't done same as cash since 2021 and I will be paying until March 8th **** for a total of $707.48. Why tell me from the beginning that I'm paying a certain price and if I pay within 6 months it's a set price and then once I pay that balance you change the agreement in the first place. I'm still paying these payments every other week. I also missed one payment by a week because I agree with paying for something I've already paid off and they sent someone to my apartment and my job to do a "courtesy check." They are completely inappropriate and should not be conducting business. I don't even have the tires anymore as they both had a nail in them so for them to come to my job and house to try to take tires off that are paid for and I'm continuing to pay extra for is mind blowing.Business Response

I see that you are referring to an old program we no longer offer, I am very sorry about that. If you review the document that the customer ******************* attached, it clearly states that this is a 15 month agreement, that shows the full term balance if you pay for 15 months. The great thing about our program is if you want to payoff early we offer 50% off the balance at that time.

I am rejecting this response because: as it clearly shows in the previous attached image of the agreement. I did not initial next to number 5 or 6 because the salesman told me I had the same as cash price. Also if you look at previous complaints on the BBB they pulled the same scam with other customers. They are offering them the same as cash price and giving refunds to them yet somehow with me theyre stating now that they havent done that in a while. The harassment from the workers with the phone calls and sharing my personal information with my job is not ethical or legal. Also they have not reached out in any way to try and work this out with me. I do not recommend this business to anyone.

The agreement was signed stating that you read it, also there is no information on the lease agreement stating 6 months same as cash or any same as cash program.
