    Sales rep lied when signing up for this service. Charged me $300 on-site and said I could cancel any time and get a full refund if I wasn't happy with their service. Then 30 days later another $149 charge. I've had the same pest service for years with little to no issues. Decided to change because they just showed up. I've seen more cockroaches then ever before. I tried to cancel and they now want me to pay a cancelation fee and offered no refund. This company is a complete scam and they hire people to lie to get people to sign their contracts. This is a pest service! Why a contracf?! I want a refund and full cancelation with no other fees. This has happened to other customers as well.

    We understand that miscommunications can happen at the door with a sales rep, so we make sure to call customers within a day after signing up to review the service agreement once again. We gave you a call on 8/26/22 and reviewed the service agreement we attached to the response. If you are still having pest activity after a regular visit, we offer free in between services to resolve those issues.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    This is false. Someone called me to confirm payment and to set up my appointment.  The sales rep said this was 100 percent money back guarantee if not happy with their services? You all are a scam and a rip off to this community. I can hire a year round pest control company for under $300 per year. You all charged me $500 for 2 months!

    June 2022 I engaged EcoShield for pest and mosquito control, separate charges for each. My EcoShield Account Number was ******* The salesman who knocked on my door, communicated the service was very thorough and I could cancel at any time no penalty. As part of the sign up process, the salesman called an office where a representative asked me my name. When I gave it to him, the salesman then turned the sound off on his phone and said hes just going to reiterate what *** already told you; lets you and I talk about your problem areas. I made a mental note of this b/c I thought it was odd After 2 months there were little to no results and I wasnt happy with the service. I spoke to one of their techs when he came to perform the service. He said the mosquito spray wouldnt do much good unless I removed all mulch and leaves in my yard. I have multiple Oak trees on my property Given all this I called and cancelled my service in late July. The representative I spoke to said I had signed up for a 2yr plan and couldnt cancel. I explained that was not accurate, no one would sign up for 2yrs of pest control without knowing the service was effective. She put me on hold and then came back and said I would only owe $150 for early cancellation Since then, Ive changed my credit card number, and gotten numerous calls and emails about the outstanding money I owe. The last call stated they would engage a 3rd party collection agency Over *********** I paid a total of $500. Their deceptive business practices and poor service are why I canceled in late July. I dont believe Im legally bound to pay a $150 termination penalty

    I am rejecting this response because there was no 2 year agreement. I never signed a document, nor was I ever able to clearly understand what was communicated by phone upon initial account set up; the salesman who came to my door turned his phone volume down deliberately so I couldn't hear any conditions. I was specifically told by the salesman there was no penalty for canceling early. I would not have engage in a 2 year bug service agreement, especially when the service was unproven.
