They damaged my car while it was in for repairs. The radio and shifter broke while sitting on their lot. They refused to accept for their mistakes. I spent over $4,000 in repairs!! John S, the service manager acted in a very unprofessional manner. He did not listen to our issues and he kept interrupting .

Purchased a vehicle with sales rep named Jimmy and sales manager, named Julian M******, after purchase of the vehicle we did go in for some checks of some issues with the vehicle. It was a certified preowned. Went into a Mercedes dealer that was closer to us, they reported uneven wear and stress splits in the tires And potential issue with the rotors they recommended that I contacted purchasing dealership to see if they could correct these issues as the car was only a few weeks old. I first contacted Jimmy who replied, and said I needed to speak with the sales manager, Julian M******. I have left him three voicemails , thus far with no response was hesitant to go to the dealership due to some previous bad reviews however, I will never be back nor will any of my friends .

I purchased a used vehicle about two months ago. Ive just found out that it is unsafe to drive. The service bill I received is more than half of the sale price. This is an unfortunate position to be in. I expected premium service at Mercedes Benz of Tampa, however, this experience has been sub-par at best. I would have never expected such deceptive and immoral business practices from this establishment.Be weary that they will smile, collect your money and have you drive away in a ticking time bomb with no remorse whatsoever. If the ** blew up with me in it, I doubt they would move with the slightest bit of urgency.Review from Bobby B

Worst service department to work with. Promises not kept that are made by service advisor to keep the car owner advised of when to expect your car to be completed. Very difficult to get in touch with service advisor who then puts you on hold or tells you he is busy and will call you back and then dies not call back. Management should try calling their service departments to understand the frustration of the phone system. And to add insult to injury the service advisor has the gall to ask the customer to give him all top grades on his service. Then there is the questionable connection between service and sales. I had an on line quote to buy my car by the dealership that was then reduced by $8,000 when the service advisor told me that he would set me up with his guy in sales. Hmmm wonder what that was about. Stay away from this dealership and especially this service advisor. Crown Mercedes in St Petersburg is much better.Review from Jeffrey R

******** of Tampa is the worst dealership in *******, stay far far away from General Manager ***************** and his sales force, nothing but a bunch of liars and cheats. Worst mistake I've made in my entire life of 67 years was buying an Infiniti QX80 from ******** of Tampa. In the 11 months I have owned the vehicle not once has ******** of Tampa honored the warranty of the vehicle even when I was suckered into buying an additional 3 year extended warranty. Whatever you do, do NOT buy from ******** of Tampa or General Manager ***************** you will regret that lack in judgment for as long as you own that vehicle.Review from Alexandrea J

Mercedes Benz does not truly fix your vehicle. Instead, they break additional items on your car & falsely charge you for services never rendered. This place has an F rating on BBB. In addition to my car being deliberately damaged; a noose was deliberately placed to hang from the rear trunk at pick up. I dealt with Brian G.. He is a bold racist-a white supremacy racist that should be on the U.S. homegrown terrorist list. After spending nearly $9000 in maintenance costs with the last payment for maintenance totaling $2838.08, I was voluntarily mocked, disrespected by Brian G.. My vehicle was not fixed. I left a camera in the car. The tech cut wires in both the passenger and driver seats. He used racial slurs, broke the floor vents on the rear passenger, removed the gas cap & jammed tight a gas cap that was too small that did not belong to the vehicle. They didn't do the oil change that I was charged for. There was no power steering, no windshield washer fluid. The coolant was overfilled to the rim of the cap with water, the center arm rest was broken. I expressed my dislike to Brian he told me to part ways since we were black. I then contacted every one in upper management about resolving the matter, no one responded except John S. who initially responded with mockery. But then he too ignored all communication. Therefore, I contacted the FTC at www.ftc.gov. Charges for services not rendered to the Federal Trade Commission is classified as FRAUD. I have 40 Federal Trade Commission file #'s against Mercedes Benz & I am not done. Anytime they damage your car or falsely charge you for services not rendered & lie about it, go to www.ftc.gov. Click report Fraud and explain to the FTC the crime they've committed. When you have completed & submitted the online form, you will be provided with an FTC file #. Keep that for your records! The Federal Trade Commission is the best force to stop deceptive & unethical practices by Mercedes Benz.Review from Dianne P

On 03/14/2022, I took my 2011 GLK 350 ******** **** ("SUV"), to Mercedes Benz of Tampa ("****"), for the annual service. During the service, they stated that my "vehicle required an alignment." I was charged $169.95 + $50., for "environmental fee/shop supplies". On 03/27/2023, I once again took my SUV to **** for the annual check up. Once again, I was told that my "SUV required an alignment", which was scheduled for 04/04/2023. At the time it seemed odd to me that my SUV should need an alignment, so I asked the **** Tech, *******************************, when the last time my SUV had had an alignment. She reviewed the automated file saying she "wasn't sure". This time the alignment charge was $169.95 + $25.49 for environmental fee/shop supplies + tax. This week, upon filing the maintenance records receipts, I noticed that 2 for years in a row, and a difference of **** miles, I was advised and paid for alignments by ****. My SUV is 12 years old, with low mileage: *****. Plus, on the way to ****, I took my hands off the wheel to test the steering, and it drove straight. I feel I have been misled and taken advantage of by ****. I want a credit in the amount of $169.95+misc charges+tax in the amount of $210.10. When I attempted to discuss the matter with *********************** of ****, I was met with hostility, and he challenged my credibility, essentially saying I am a liar! **** are a bunch of crooks! My SUV is driven locally around my subdivision given that most required destinations are within my subdivision, hence, the low mileage after 12 years of ownership. I am the original owner, and I am the sole driver of the vehicle.Review from Cd Z

Took Mercedes for sunroof repair few month ago, now I have water infiltration on the headliner, fabric started to come loos, water stains on the back seat columns, rattling noise around the mechanism of sunroof. 2 years warranty provided by Mercedes. Took it in because of the problems, Mercedes charges $450.00 to verify the problem, even though it is highly probable problem caused after sunroof repair. No discussions, no negotiation, explained that warranty does not cover that part, even if the problem was caused by the service. I was treated like a number, no costumer service at wall, as soon I started question why, I was moved to the side and the rep asked to see the next "customer". Very DMV methodology. It is what they want to charge you or they will see the next customer. There is no "going to the extra mile for the customer" anymore at Mercedes dealership, overpriced, careless and apparently poor repair service performed. Mike (Mercedes Supervisor) aware of the problem, nothing has been done.Review from James K.

The service department does not honor their appointments and accommodations for either transportation or a loaner vehicle. I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance and arranged for the car to be picked at at my home. 36 hours before the appointment they called to tell me I would need to bring the car in myself and wait as there were no loaner cars available. The next available appointment if I wanted to reschedule was almost 4 weeks later than my original appointment. While this may sound like a 1st world issue it is the principle of not delivering what is advertised and not holding themselves accountable. We all have work and family obligations and they are impacted by businesses lack of commitment to what they offer. In my opinion, it is false advertising in not delivering what they agreed to when the original appointment was made.Review from Rachel T

On Dec. 6th 2022 I traded my GLK350 and bought 2019 GLC300. The sales person was Bassel H. There was no honesty and integrity from him. The car delivered around 7 PM. I forgot to empty my belongings. Next morning when I called my agent was rude and unprofessional. I called sales manager no help. Then I tried to get the name and number of the Chief Manager but receptionist refused. In short this place is a den of cut throats and jerks. Please flee from this flop business.
