This company is a scam and should be shut down. They advertize a free trial for a subscription, the form I created was not what I wanted, I canceled the subscription and they charged $200 without my consent!Absolute scammers.

We apologize for your frustration, but after reviewing your account we can confirm you activated our Pro Annual Plan yesterday, September 16, 2025. The Annual Plan costs $199.00/year. This subscription plan does not come with a free trial.

Our Monthly Plan at $49.00/month is our only subscription plan that offers a 7-Day Free Trial for new members. Our pricing and checkout pages reflect the terms of each of our premium plans. If you wish to change your subscription, please contact our support team at *********************************** or call ************. Our agents will be happy to assist you.

On July 24, 2025, I ordered one (1) deed document from eForms called "Transfer on Death" (TOD) form. After clicking on the "one-time" charge ($55) using PayPal, I received a notification from PayPal that I've been charged $199 for an annual subscription. I did not authorize an annual subscription. Due to my health condition (SMZL Lymphoma), I'm trying to get my affairs in order for my daughters, and I only approved a one-time payment for a single document. I've written numerous letters to eForms (on 7/25; 8/30; 9/4; and 9/11/2025) and they notify me they cannot give me a credit on my PayPal account for the difference between $55 and the $199 which PayPal has already paid them. I did NOT choose an annual subscription and asked eForms numerous times to provide documentation of an annual subscription for my order, which they never did. I request a refund for the unauthorized charge of $144 ($199 - $55) to be credited back to my PayPal account. I feel eForms is dishonest and deceptive on their ordering page, even down to the small print. The lack of transparency and clear disclosure about the annual subscription fee led to this unauthorized charge. I urge others to be cautious when using this site and to carefully review the terms and conditions. As someone with a serious health condition, I kindly request that this matter be resolved promptly. I would appreciate it if eForms could take immediate action to rectify this situation and provide a refund for the unauthorized charge. Be warned about this site and read the other issues with this company posted on the Better Business Bureau site. Single Document Transfer on Death Deed (TODD) $55 one-time charge One-time fee to access and download Credit / Debit Card Your subscription plan will be billed at $199 per year, starting on September 11, 2025. You can cancel ANYTIME. If not canceled, your next billing date will be September 11, 2026. Sincerely, *** **

We are asking that this review be removed as it is not an accurate representation of this account user's activity, and this customer's account has already been serviced with a pro-rated refund issued.

This customer activated our Pro Annual Plan Subscription on July 24, 2025, which costs $199.00 per year. He contacted our customer support department stating that he intended to purchase a Single Document at $55.00, but our system charged him $199 instead. Our team informed him that all activity is timestamped for quality assurance and the account that was used activated the Annual Plan, not the Single Document.

Our team attempted to process a pro-rated refund and update his purchase to a Single Document, though the customer had already disputed the transaction directly with ******. When a transaction is disputed, eForms cannot edit the transaction while ****** conducts its investigation and this information was relayed to the customer. The customer contacted our support department numerous times throughout the time ******'s investigation was active, and we continued to tell the customer we cannot edit and process a pro-rated refund or change the plan while it is active. ****** found the dispute case in eForms' favor on August 30, 2025 based on the customer's activity log showing the user selected the Annual Plan at checkout - to which the customer disputed the transaction again, putting the transaction in a HOLD status again.

****** found the secondary dispute case in eForms' favor once again on Friday, September 12, 2025, based on the customer's activity log showing that the user selected the Annual Plan at the time of activation, not the Single Document.

Though ****** found each of the dispute cases in eForms' favor based on the user's activity, we processed the pro-rated refund of $144.00 on Monday, September 15, 2025, at open of business before the customer could dispute it directly with ****** for a third time. eForms also updated the customer's account to reflect a Single Document Purchase as he intended to purchase.

We've submitted the user's activity log for record to show the customer selected the Annual Plan at original activation on July 24, 2025 vs the Single Document option. We understand that mistakes do happen, and we always attempt to accommodate the customer's wishes. We were unable to do so because the user kept disputing directly with PayPal.

I was searching for free forms for a personal loan. I saw a free 7 day trial from a website called legal templates.net and registered. Their subscription costs were high so I cancelled after two days. I got an email confirmation of my cancellation so I didn’t worry about it. Then five days later I noticed a charge of $49 on my account by Eforms. I immediately called my bank. Then had a chat bot on the first website tell me since I deleted my account they no longer had my card information to give me a refund. I noticed a phone number on the bank charge and called it. It turns out that apparently legaltemplates.net must’ve sent all my information to Eforms as if I had subscribed with them. They swore up and down that I subscribed with them when I know I did not. I have all emails to prove who I signed up with. Brent would not admit what happened to me but did send me an email confirming I would be refunded. I was about to ask him another question but he hung up. I called back and got a different person and just wanted to make sure they were aware this is happening. He told me they used to own that website. So my guess is it’s all a scam and this company should be RUN out of business! BEWARE OF WHO YOU ARE DEALING WITH! I was lucky to get a refund but I’ve read many complaints on here by people who didn’t get refunds.

We respectfully ask that this review be amended or reviewed as the information is not accurate. eForms does not have any affiliation with ******************. If the user received a charge from ******************, they must have registered and activated an account with that merchant when they were searching for free forms.

At eForms, all customer account activity and communication is timestamped for quality assurance. We can confirm that this reviewer registered an account on ********************** on August 28, 2025, activating a Monthly Subscription Plan. As a new subscriber to this plan, this customer was granted a ***** Free Trial and it was utilized to download a Loan Agreement (promissory note) on August 28, 2025, at 10:46 AM EST.

eForms allows cancellations via phone, email, live chat, or directly through the user's *********************** dashboard and instructions are found on the checkout page as well as our FAQs page. No cancellation was requested within the trial, so the subscription renewed following the 7-Day Free Trial period on September 4, 2025, at 10:44 AM EST, and a payment and renewal confirmation email was sent from eforms.com, not ******************.

Upon contacting the eForms customer support team, our agent informed the reviewer about the reasoning for the charge on our website, eforms.com, and processed a courtesy refund to the payment method on file though there was no prior cancellation during the free trial period. We ask the customer to allow 5-7 business days for the refund to appear on their statement, but make note the pending charge may void completely based on the transaction and refund both being issued the same day.

To reiterate - eForms.com does not have any affiliation with ******************. If the reviewer received a charge from that merchant, they have an account with that service provider, and we recommend they contact that company's customer support team for further inquiry.

I needed one form to help with estate planning and they offered a 7 day trial so what could go wrong? I am usually very careful with what I purchase online so this was especially troubling to me that I had buyer's remorse.
I ended up electing their monthly plan which at $16.95 seemed reasonable. Of course, as I later realized, the small print tells you they will front load that monthly cost x 12 months. I immediately checked my bank account and $199 was already charged. So I then immediately emailed to cancel my subscription saying I only had it for two hours and wanted out.
Two more emails later, I was told I signed on the dotted line and the best they could do was refund the difference between the annual plan and either a single document fee ($55) or a one month plan at full price which was $49. I certainly didn't want to stay on board with this business so tried to hold them to honor my free trial period. Their response was that this wasn't my first free trial period (which I didn't recall) so no free trial ever really existed. This could have been made much clearer in their initial ad offer, but, again, the small print is small for a reason.
I finally agreed for them to withhold the single document fee of $55 so this transaction could be over and done. Nothing in this "trial offer" was made clear in their initial ad grab and unfortunately I ended up with nothing free as expected.

We apologize that you are dissatisfied with your recent experience. Please note that our Monthly Pro Subscription Plan is the only plan that comes with a 7-Day Free Trial for new members (only). The plan that was selected at the time of download was our Pro Annual Plan that costs $199.00 upfront. This plan does not offer a free trial period.

The terms of the subscription and price are stated on the checkout screen after selecting a plan, prior to entering billing information. Our pricing page also reflects this plan as requiring an upfront $199.00 payment for the full year. We do show that the Annual Plan is over a 66% savings if broken down monthly at $16.59/month when compared to the $49.00 Monthly Pro Plan ($588.00 savings over the course of the year).

As the account previously utilized the Monthly Pro Plan and 7-Day Free option in the past (as a new subscriber), the free trial option was not available on the account for the most recent form. The form was only eligible for a pro-rated refund of the Monthly reactivation at $49.00, or a Single Document Purchase at $55.00. Please note that you have lifetime access to your form with unlimited edits and downloads as you elected to pursue the pro-rated refund, and recategorize your form as a Single Document Purchase.

We ask that the customer allow 5-7 business days for the pro-rated refund to appear back on her statement.

Have you counted just how many complaints are on BBB for pretty much what I reported on? You offer a good product, I believe, but please consider your wording that I'm not the only one to misunderstand ($16.95/month should be edited to read $199/year which is charged in full, no refunds). Less headaches for all concerned.

They say its a free trial. But they charge and then tell you. Scam.

    EForms.com

    Date: 08/19/2025

Contradictory to this reviewer's claim, we offer our forms for FREE as blank templates without registering an account or entering any billing information.

Every free form is available per the individual state's compliance standards in Adobe PDF, Microsoft Word, or as an ODT file on that specific form's webpage on our site.

If a customer elects to utilize our form-filling software instead of downloading the FREE form (an optional upgrade elected by the customer), that service comes with a premium plan. All pricing options are listed in our Terms of Use, reiterated before checkout, and displayed in full transparency on our pricing page. Customers still have the ability to obtain their forms for FREE, even after using our premium form-filling services. Our Monthly Subscription Plan comes with a "no obligations" 7-Day Free Trial period for new subscribers. If the subscription is not canceled within the 7-Day Free Trial period, the account automatically rolls over into the Monthly Plan and the account is billed. All terms of the subscription and free trial (including renewal dates) are listed prior to checking out.

Subscribers can cancel via phone, live chat, by email, or through their eForms dashboard directly. These cancellation instructions are found on our website on the FAQs page. If this reviewer's account was billed following the free trial, no cancellation was requested during the 7-Day Free Trial period after the terms of the subscription and trial period were previously agreed to.

We ask that this review be removed or amended, as it does not accurately represent our services or the support this reviewer claims.

The user's account was serviced, and a pro-rated refund was issued. This user signed up for our 1-Year Pro (Annual) Plan via ******. That plan costs $199 annually, paid upfront for unlimited use of our premium services for the entire year. The terms of the subscription are clearly stated on the pricing page and reiterated on the checkout page prior to entering billing information.

Once the user was billed at the time of download, she filed a direct dispute with ******, putting the contested transaction in a "HOLD" status until ****** concluded its investigation. eForms does not have the ability to edit the transaction while the case is investigated. ****** found the case in eForms' favor; however, we processed a pro-rated refund to this customer due to her misunderstanding of the subscription she signed up for. We changed the Annual Subscription to a Single Document purchase, per her initial request when seeking the refund.

We ask that the user check her ****** account to view their refund receipt and remind her that she has lifetime access with unlimited edits to the document purchased. Based on the information above, we kindly request that this review be removed.

We respectfully request that this review be removed or amended as it is not an accurate representation of the account activity, along with the fact that this customer has already been offered a courtesy refund.

All customer activity and communication are timestamped for quality assurance. This user created an account and activated a Monthly Subscription Plan on June 9, 2025. This plan comes with a 7-Day Free Trial period, which was utilized to create and download an Eviction Notice using our form-filling services. No cancellation request was made during the initial trial period, so the subscription automatically renewed at $49.00 on June 17, 2025, following the conclusion of the 7-Day Free period.

The customer logged in following the initial renewal transaction and email confirmation, canceling the subscription at period end. Upon contacting our customer support team following the cancelation at period end yesterday, June 17, 2025, our agent explained the activity on the account and that it was charged as we have no record of a cancellation request until after the initial renewal, sharing the account's activity log.

As a one-time courtesy, our agent processed a $49.00 refund and canceled the subscription immediately based on the user not wishing to pursue the subscription. We ask that the user allows 5-7 business days for the refund to appear on her statement, and make note that the initial transaction may VOID completely due to the charge and refund both being processed the same day, June 17, 2025.

This business has repeatedly sent notifications and requests to amend my post. The only change from my previous comment is they finally refunded the $49. Keep in mind that was After a day going back and forth with their customer service **** After I reported it to the BBB, my credit card etc. This is not an easy company to communicate with and it definitely isnt easy to resolve anything with them. If you choose to use them just beware the hard time youre signing yourself up for.

I echo the complaints of the other reviewers. I looked at one document and even filled some of it out until the site fold me I would have to agree to a subscription. I immediately left the site. Somehow, I was still charged 49 dollars and their customer service said I agreed to the subscription and successfully downloaded a document. None of that is true.

We respectfully request that this review be removed as it does not offer a genuine experience of this user's activity or represent our available services. This account has already been serviced at the time of receiving and replying to this review.

All customer activity and communication are recorded for quality assurance. Contradictory to this reviewer's claim, the user registered an account on May 7, 2025, and activated a Monthly Subscription Plan. That plan comes with a 7-Day Free Trial for new users. The Free trial was activated and utilized to download a XXXX Quitclaim Deed on May 7, 2025, at 6:54 PM EDT. The document was then edited multiple times and downloaded again at 7:03 PM EDT. If the account was canceled within the 7-Day Free Trial period, there would be no billing activity related to this account and the document would have been 100% free.

Please note - There is no way eForms can collect a payment from a user unless they enter their billing information at the time of subscription activation. This user elected to link his ****** account when registering, and activated the subscription and trial period to download the form using our form-filling services - a premium plan service. The subscription was not canceled within the 7-Day Free Trial period, so the account was billed on May 15, 2025, at 7:19 PM EDT.

When the user contacted our customer support department, our team informed the customer of the activity on the account and why the account was billed. Per policy, the refund request for the initial charge was escalated to our management team for review yesterday, May 19, 2025. Our agent informed the customer he would receive a response from management within 1-2 business days.

Though a form was downloaded and there was no cancellation during the free trial period, our management team informed the customer via email this morning, May 20, 2025, that he canceled the subscription and processed a courtesy refund for the initial charge.

The business has contacted me directly in an effort to get me to reconsider my review. They also sent me the forms I created on their site on a one-time basis. In an effort to show that their forms were available free, a link was sent to instructions on how to achieve this. I followed the link and followed the instructions, but was confronted with a page that did not show the same options displayed in those instructions, namely, the option for the free form. The business suggested that I was using a link leading to the paid area. However, I tried using both the link they supplied as well as the method most users would use- a ****** search for the form and clicking on a result describing "Free" forms. Both led to a page without the option for a free form. I suggested they examine the html title labeling of that web page as it displays the title suggesting a free form was available on that page. I'm hopeful that they will correct the problem and make it possible to readily access these forms if they are, indeed available free of charge. If those changes are made and I am able to access free forms, I will happily update my review.
