    I signed up for a 5 day free trial and canceled 2 days later. They took ***** out of my account anyways. I called and was told that they would send out an email to fill out to dispute the charge. No email ever received. I want my money back along with the ***** overdraft fee it caused me. Unacceptable!!!! I will pursue this further if I am not refunded both amounts.

    This company leaked my information and then disappeared so I can't find their ***** to sue them. Any ideas for how to find the details I need to make them pay!

    Today, I was charged for $39.97 for the site when I initially started the trial on May 9th but was not charged that high of a fee and have been trying to cancel it since then. I guess I thought I cancelled it before, but it was just suddenly out of the blue, and even tried contacting support but did not get an answer. My trial was not extended by choice, and not only would I like to cancel my membership, but I would also like a refund for what I was charged when I've had no intentions of furthering my account's activity, nor did I realize I would be locked into it this way.

    Before the date of February 26th, 2024, I had opened a membership in the form of a free trial with this business. As stated, when the trial ended, I would be charged $39.97. Naturally, when the trial ended before the date given above, I was charged the fee not long after. As every other business and trial anyone ever opened and accidentally not cancelled within time, I immediately reached out to the business and asked for a refund with the reason being I had intended to cancel, but hadn't within the 7 week trial.The first time I emailed, I was given an unorthodox means of obtaining my refund, as I had to find a way to print a form, fill it out, and hand mail it to the address on their website.First of all, I haven't owned a printer in over 20 years, it's just not a common necessity anymore. I asked if I could email them, but I was denied and they passively restated I needed to "go to their Refund Application on their website" and print/mail the form as per their process. I then asked if I could call any phone number, and I was again denied in a rude dismissive manner.Then finally months later, I called the refund number after googling their business and the same person spoke to me in the same manner, and I was finally shook enough to try something else. I researched the number and called a number for the business and not the customer service refund number, and I was told that "an employee had already told me the information". So at this point, I had been prepared to attempt and find a way to pursue a refund with their process, and I went to their website after finding the email from February and it didn't work. So I asked the employe from the other number if they could help and give me the information I needed, but they ALSO were very passively aggressive and rude... I have never ran into such HORRIBLE customer service, EVER. I am literally amazed, I have never seen this level of intricate difficulty obtaining a refund, that it feels like a scam!

    After logging in to our site from your mobile phone with IP address: 72.48.71.114, you performed four searches and etended your account until 02/23/2024 when you called our customer service. Our service logs do not show any downtime during your membership. Your account was cancelled as you requested and you were referred for a courtesy refund, even though you had extended your account for almost a month past the trial epiration date. We provided multiple options for requesting a refund, even if you did not have a printer. I listened to your recordings and did not detect any dissatisfaction as you thanked our represenative for her asistance. My apologies if there was a mis-communication. Hopefully, this jogs your memory. Please check your phone records to confirm.

    Since your membership was NOT canceled until 02/23/2024, almost one month past your membership due date of by 01/24/2024, you were charged a standard monthly membership fee of $39.97 as you had agreed to at the time of registration. Your account was cancelled and has been fully refunded as you requested. You will no longer be charged.

    3/11/2024 I noticed a website that promotes or implies that an individual's social security number can be found online. See the attached screenshot.Now, I know "Search for a SSN" may be possible online. But this website implies that a "lookup" of a specific individual will return a social security number. This "advertises" and undermines the **** that a business entity may NOT divulge, even if they have it; an individual's social security number. That is private, not public information. What I am asking is that this company remove the wording "Social Security Number Lookup" in big letters on the landing page when using a cellphone. Yes, they explain further in smaller lettering that the search is public records. But I believe they message the business is conveying by having this larger wording as the headline on the site page; where an individual's first and last name are entered, is that the search will return an individual's SSN.Thank you

    this company has published my information on the internet and has refused to remove it even after being served with a formal letter to do so! i want my information removed from there databases now!

    I have called and emailed this organization numerous times asking them to remove all information related to my phone number ************. This has been going on for months. I spoke with someone today who said they would call me back. They did not. When you ****** my phone number, search people free shows my former rental unit of 907 18th ******************. If you then click into results is re-directs to ***********.com and privaterecords.net. *********** has removed information. Privaterecords.net appears to show a record for me albeit I have never lived in the bronx. *********** or ***************. As I do not want to give this organization my credit card information I am unable to see what data they have. This business should be shutdown. Under ********** privacy rules, they are obliged to take down my information. They are putting people at risk disclosing personal information such as addresses. I don't live there any longer and I want the information removed immediately. Please. Thank you.

    Private Records has charged my account twice for **********/3/23 and 11/29/23). I did not approve these charges and never received a confirmation regarding this "membership". I checked my email to see if there was any correspondence or receipt and found nothing. I was charged $79.94 and received nothing in return. **************** was rude and unhelpful in regard to my concerns. This is fraudulent and I will file a complaint with my AG and Senator.

    i tried a trial of this company's services for personal use. after a few days I felt the services was very basic and was able to be attained quite easy with just ******* I blocked my card from getting charged until i was able to call and cancel. They somehow still processed that payjment so i called in. I was greeted by a ************** woman that had an attitude from the beginning. She basically called me a liar then told me in or der for me to get a refund i would have to follow whats on the website. So i called the phone number on the website and someone picked up which was another ************** woman with the same bad attitude. im deadly frustrated at this time and just wanted to speak to customer service but she said that phone number doesnt work and then i advised her that i just called that number in which she jusdt hung up on me. Very unprofessional, lacking English speaking skills and did not want to accomodate anything for me as a customer.

    As a customer, from my own experience I know what I heard and how I was treated. I wouldnt go through these hurdles if the experience was pleasant. As a consumer of your service I was displeased with your service and had not used it after the trial period had ended. Your customer service representative didnt provide me with any solutions that wasnt more of a hassle for me as the customer. The agent notified me go to a specific web address and the number was that site said call this number for any questions and the agent said no they dont answer that number? I dont wish to listen to your recording because I have no faith in your business not have tampered with it. I know attitude when I hear it. You clearly dont want to resolve this for the customer. I do not wish to accept this companies resolution idea.
