This site is a predatory business site. It does not indicate it is a 3rd party site and does not provide transparency with pricing. Today I inadvertently booked a hotel room that was 33% more expensive and non-refundable with Reservations.com. I called six minutes after making the booking and "*****" informed me that the terms of the reservation were that it was nonrefundable. This is a predatory business. Avoid.

Made a 3 night reservation with this company, (which is regrettable) at a Marriott Residence Inn at ********* ************************* Medical campus. My wife was having surgery the following week. The day after the reservation was made, I learned that my wifes surgery date had changed. I immediately contacted Reservations.com to change/cancel the dates of the reservation and was told it was a non-cancelable reservation.i.e. no credit offered. The Reservations.com call center is located in the ********, perhaps ***************, and it is very hard to understand their representatives. After waiting on hold to speak to a supervisor regarding this complaint, (another 25. minutes) was told there is nothing they can do. What a sham.I should have looked at their reviews before booking with them.

Do yourself a favor and dont ever use this site. They charge a multitude of fees and I did not see them until the reservation is made and you cannot cancel the reservation and will charge your card. When I contacted them they offered to request a refund through the billing department but if not approved your reservation is canceled and they keep your money. Fool me once but it wont happen again. I want to be sure others know. My $132 room ended up costing $186. I want to save others the headache! I give them 0 STARS just TERRIBLE!!!!!

the website does not indicate it is a 3rd Party site before booking; and does not adequately communicate additional fees charged. Absolute fraud. I'm ashamed that the Better Business Bureau has allowed this company to stay in business. STAY AWAY and complain to your local hotel

I tried to book a reservation and using the link embedded in the legit hotel information, I was misdirected to Reservations.com. I did not know I was being highjacked by a third party scamming company. The standard room cost increased by 40%!! I would not recommend using Reservations.com for anything. Please review the many complaints at the Better Business Bureau about them. I don't know how the government allows them to stay in business.CURRENT ALERTS FOR THIS BUSINESS Advertising Review:In July 2021, BBB contacting the business regarding the following advertising concern When consumers click through from ****** search and ads; website does not indicate it is a 3rd Party site before booking; does not adequately communicate additional fees charged.BBB requested the business website be updated to include pop-up window or info bar that would appear site-wide that includes the following disclaimer:"Reservations.com is a 3rd party booking site not affiliated with the hotels and properties shown within; additional booking fees are at the discretion of Reservations.com."To date the business contacted BBB and indicated they would address the concerns; but no further updates have been made.BBB Code of Advertising indicates:1. This company makes your think you have reached the reservation desk for the Hotel. I thought I had called the hotel directly. I asked specifically what the room rate per night was. She told me it was $169 per night. When I got to the hotel I found out the nightly rate is $95 per night including tax. They overcharged by $74 without telling me what was going on. When I call the customer support number, they say they cannot make adjustments, and it goes to a support desk to review, and they cannot transfer to a supervisor. Additionally, she could not give me any turnaround time to hear back from the support desk or supervisor. She also would not provide the name of the company. When I called back on the number I made the reservation through I asked the person for the name of the company. They said they were a reservation line. I said I know, but what is the name of the company. He immediately hung up. When I called back I could no longer get through the phone tree to an agent. I believe I was blocked after asking for information on the company.

Reervations.com is basically a scam to get you to spend an additional $19.95/reservation in fees over and above that for the base ************* I called the number listed "to get the best rate" and spent the next 25 minutes working the reservation with an OFFSHORE service provider I had difficulty understanding. Save yourself $20 and a ton of hassle and go online directly with the hotel and you'll likely get a better base price too...I did and it only took 10 min. When I went back in to cancel online, THEN i find out about the NON-REFUNDABLE reservation fee. WHY would I spend $20 more to make a simple reservation. NEVER again, and NEVER AGAIN with Reservations.com. There's a reason they have 1 star out of 5. I'd give them 0 stars but this site won't let me!

From ****** search and ads; the website does not indicate it is a 3rd Party site before booking; and does not adequately communicate additional fees charged. Absolute fraud. They charged $54 in taxes, $15 for an extra person, a $19.99 non-refundable cancelation fee, which also cancels your reservations, but you do not receive a refund. This website needs to be shut down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I booked a reservation to visit my dying brother in ************* ** last week and despite Googling ****************** Hotel, I was misdirected to Reservations.com. in error, never knowing I was being highjacked by a third party scamming company. The standard room cost for two rooms for two days was INCREASED by 40%!! What a RIPOFF! I would not recommend using Reservations.com for anything. STAY AWAY! I am actually considering taking legal action. This is robbery of Senior Citizens trying to do the right thing - Consumer beware! This company should not be legal.
