    I made a reservation for a van from your ******* FL location over a month before the date we planned our trip. We needed a large passenger van (5-7 people) that was comfortable and easy to get in and out of because we were traveling with our elderly parents and my wife's father uses a ****** to get around with and needs a spacious place to sit when traveling long distances. The reservation was for Thursday August 28th at 8pm et and returning on Monday September 1st by 8pm et. We were all going to ******* for a family member's 70th birthday celebration. After driving for an hour in the pouring rain on Thursday to pick up the van, we were told that they did not have a van, only an SUV! We explained to the girl at the check in desk that we needed a van due to the reasons I mentioned earlier, but she seemed not to care stating 'This is the only option we have or you can cancel'. I immediately became angry because of her attitude! Then she said 'you can check back in the morning, but there's no guarantee that we'll have a van for you'. We planned on leaving early in the morning to avoid traffic. I then requested to speak with her supervisor because she wasn't offering any satisfactory solutions and she then stated 'There's nobody available' and walked to a back office leaving us there at the check in desk. After about 10 minutes another girl named ******* came with the same terrible attitude that the girl before had. She gave us the same options as the first ********* so I said 'let me think about it'. She then said 'I need to know now'! I was shocked and said 'OK, let me record this' and took out my phone, started recording and asked her the same question again. She said 'you have been here for over an hour yelling at me' (we had only been there for ***** minutes tops) and she snatched my phone out of my hands! We ended up having to cancel our trip because of their incompetence. Never rent from these people!

    I have rented many cars, but this was the worst and most expensive rental I have ever had. They don't even deserve a 1 star. I rented a car from Green Motion in *******, ************************. on July 16th. I will never rent from this place again. I waited in line for over 40 minutes; there was only one attendant at the desk. I had to use their insurance because they wouldn't accept mine, costing me $376.35. I paid ahead for a ****** Rouge and was downgraded to a ****** kick because nothing equivalent was available, spending ******. When I complained about it, they returned to me *****.I declined the use of their easy pass, I read and understood I would be charged a $39 fee if I had received a violation. I accrued ***** in toll fees, not a problem; but they charged me additional fees totaling $195.00 calling them violation fees. When I called to inquire a lady who did not speak very clear English told me that was the fee. I was not given a supervisor to speak with when requested. I inquired about what the violations were, there were no violations, she said it was because I did not use the easy pass and I had acquired toll fees. Total charges were $250.70. I had this car for 16 days and spent $1,215. on this rental. I've rented a full-size SUV for month and spent less on it. This was the most expensive rental I have ever had, customer service was horrible people working there but no one communicated to customers waiting in line, not even a complimentary bottle of water for patience, just horrible. I hope this review was helpful in helping you decide whether to do business with this company.     Hello Due to limited availability, a ****** Kicks was provided at the time of rental. A downgrade adjustment was refunded to you.Regarding, Toll Violations & Associated Fees: The rental agreement signed outlines our toll and violation policy, which states that when our Toll Pass is declined, any tolls incurred will result in the toll amount plus applicable administrative fees being charged to the renters account. These charges are not discretionary and are applied uniformly to all customers as per company policy.We regret that the rental experience did not meet the customers expectations; however, the charges in question were applied correctly and transparently under the terms of the agreement the customer reviewed and signed at the time of rental.

    Green motion car rentals uses a bait and switch approach. I purchased a car rental for 3 1/2 days for $72 on Priceline. When I go to pick up the car and I reject their insurance offer, they make you show them your coverages on your insurance. Then they told me that I did not have enough coverage for property damage. Then they proceeded to charge me an additional $275 to add on that insurance or else they would not rent the car to me. I will never use them again.

    This place is a scam. Over charged us. Rented us a vehicle full of garbage. Theyre supposed to have someone at the desk 24/7 but there was no one there for 6 hrs. Probably the worst experience Ive ever had with a business. I dont know how these people sleep at night.

    DO NOT RENT ANYTHING FROM HERE!! My sister and I both rented cars from here, she reserved a 7 seater, I reserved a Nisan Kicks or similar. When we arrived all they had were 2 identical Jeep Compass which was fine for me but my sister reserved a 7 seater for a reason. Both cars had their check engine light on but the gentleman at the desk told us it was a spark plug issue in both cars and they fixed it in both cars but couldnt reset the check engine light because their machine wasnt working. Odd that it was the same issue in both cars but we didnt think much of it. They didnt give us a printed copy, instead they said it was emailed. I waited for a printed copy regardless. On my copy it showed that the car was 3/4 full, when I turned on the car it was on completely empty. I went back inside and asked them to fix the mileage AND the gas meter before we left and told my sister to get her printed copy too. They gave her a second copy of mine, I made sure they actually gave her HER copy. We finally leave and go to a gas station (not how we wanted to start our vacation) and the back passenger tire had low pressure. We fixed the tire pressure and went to our hotel. We opted to use public transportation most of the time because we were scared to use the car we paid for. Only used the car a handful of times, drove it around 200mi in total and had SIX service alerts pop up. Called to get a tow, the person at the call center said its our responsibility to tow, even though I paid for 2 seperate insurances and when I asked if there will be someone there to accept the car in person, she kept telling me to go to their website. I asked to ask to a representative on property and she couldnt help me. Her name was ***** ****** and she had a thick Indian accent. No assistance was granted. Used a different phone number, got a will give you a call back when representative is available and when they called back it rang one time then hung up. DO NOT RENT HERE

    0/5 Stars - Beware of Hidden Fees and **************** I recently rented a van from Green Motion, and it was one of the worst customer experiences Ive ever had. From the moment I arrived at the counter, it felt like a scam. The advertised "low price" online turned out to be a bait-and-switch tactic. When I went to pick up the van the agent added *hundreds* in extra charges"mandatory insurance," "admin fees," and "local taxes"that were never mentioned during booking. When I questioned this, they refused to honor the original quote and threatened to cancel my reservation entirely if I didnt pay. To make matters worse, the staff was outright hostile. The agent dismissed my concerns, spoke over me, and even laughed when I asked for a refund. Green Motions business model seems designed to trap customers with deceptive pricing and bully them into paying more. ***** this company at all costs. Spend a little extra elsewhere to save yourself the stress and dishonesty. Never again.

Thank you for your understanding.Our ******* location has certain requirements for coverage and the way we verify coverages at the rental desk via Axle app. If a client does not meet the criteria we have to offer alternative options like our coverages so the client can rent from us, as we do not rent vehicles without coverage. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is mandatory when renting 12- to 15-passenger vans. This is classified as commercial insurance, and as such, must be purchased at the rental location. Personal insurance policies are not accepted for this category of vehicle.

    Gave away my rental with zero notification after my flight was delayed. The counter staff and manager were terrible to deal with and very short. I confirmed with their manager that I wasnt going to be charged anything. We then had to pack all 12 of us (including small children, strollers, and luggage) in a shuttle back to the airport to find another rental company. 13 days later, they randomly charged my card $167 with no authorization or explanation of the charge. Had to call several times, dispute with my credit card provider, and sent 6 emails before they finally refunded.

    I have had a horrible experience. Starting from them giving me the wrong area where to be picked up. The driver was rude. Upon getting to Green Motion, the lady tried to see me the ***** a day for tolls, which I said no. She explained we would pay for the tolls, which is normal like Hertz, Alamo etc... Also tried giving us a smaller car then what we paid for, I had to pull out my reservation. The car smelled, not cleaned very well. When we got home I saw they billed us for $222.18 for toll violations, my credit card was on file there were NO violations, our tolls were $14.50. I called to try and speak with someone. I asked more than 10 times to speak to a supervisor, the *** on the phone ignored my requests. I finally demanded and she explained that there was no one there and someone would call me back. No one has called me back. I am not sure how this place is still operating. I am happy to pay the $14.50 in tolls but I want a refund for $195.00.

    Mr. ****** We would like to clarify our policy regarding toll usage with our rental vehicles.Please be advised that the use of personal or visitor toll passes is not permitted on our fleet vehicles, as all tolls are automatically linked to our company account. If a renter declines our toll pass service, they must use alternate routes to avoid toll roads.The recent toll charge on your account is valid and was incurred during the rental period. As outlined in Clause #8 of your rental agreement under Violations, renters are responsible for any tolls, parking, red light, or similar violations incurred during the rental, in addition to a $39.00 administrative fee for each violation. In accordance with this clause, your credit or debit card on file was charged directly, as per our standard policy.

    I got to the desk and they would not accept my insurance, which has never happened to me before ever. It is **************. I had to fight like h*** to get my money back. They denied me service and refused a refund. Thank you for ****************, because they got my money back. They are cheap but the worst.

    This is a "buyer beware" type company. Everything went fine until I found they hit me with over $200 of hidden charges. They refused to discuss the charges with me.

Additionally, this information is outlined in Clause #8 of your rental agreement, as well as in the decline waiver you signed and displayed on the TVs in the lobby.
