After spending an excess of 600$ on Smiteworks LLC's program Fantasy Grounds, the program and modules that I have purchased have been rendered unusable. The provided solutions are to simply not use my purchased modules. This is not an acceptable solution. Despite multiple posts by many users, the issues of crashing and many other support problems have not been addressed. Additionally, the functionality of the program has steadily been reduced as features have been converted to paid modules or support for the Classic version of the program has been ignored or discontinued in many cases. What was once a great program has become an unusable mess that continually scams you for more and more money. Smiteworks does not offer refunds outside of your purchase window and I would like a full refund or at the least an apology. Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/07/07) */ We don't have any record of a customer by this name and no contacts to our customer support queue by this name. We are not aware of any paid features that have been converted to paid modules, or any unresolved issues of crashing or unaddressed support problems. Support for the Classic version of our program continues, but we have announced that we are no longer releasing new products for it. The Classic version of our software has been around and continually updated from 2004 through June, 2021. This is an unprecedented length of time to be providing new updates and product releases for any software product, much less a video game. We offer a 50% discount for customers of Classic who wish to migrate to our new platform, Fantasy Grounds Unity. All new product releases and updates are being made for this version of our software. With that said, upgrading is completely optional. We are maintaining customer support and our patch system for Fantasy Grounds Classic. At this point, it is essentially fixed in time and will not receive any new updates or product releases. There are no known reports of outstanding issues that were unresolved when this occurred. If a customer has any issues with our products, they can contact us at support.fantasygrounds.com and they will promptly receive assistance.
