I'm reaching out to express my grave concern about the disclosure of my personal data to credit bureaus, leading to inaccuracies on my credit report. Iam not liable for this debt with mid Florida financing, I dont have contract with mid Florida financing anymore, they dealership that purchased my vehicle has already paid them so iam unsure as to why they are still showing this but its fraudulent an needs to be corrected they are a horrible business an actually owe me money as the check to buyout the vehicle was worth more than what was owed they said they send me the difference back yet I havent received which iam unclear as to why to that aswell they are horrible an shady in business practices amongst disrespectful an disgusting the way they treat customers let alone veterans they even contacted me to make sure address on file was good to send me my check which I will show that proof of aswell hereBusiness Response

On 10/30/2023 I purchased a Jeep from the OKCARZ dealership located on **************** in *******, *******. I made a down payment of $2500 and make bi-weekly payments in the amount of $268.00. I was informed that the Jeep had undergone a thorough inspection and any potential is***s would be covered under warranty, 24 months / 24k miles. ******** I was satisfied with the Jeep and the transaction, and I believed that both the dealership and had reached a fair agreement.Shortly after the purchase, I started experiencing problems with the transmission. While this was inconvenient, I was initially relieved to know that the repairs would be covered under warranty. When I returned to the dealership with the Jeep, I was informed that they would not honor the warranty. Instead, they offered to upgrade me to a different Jeep, which, despite being older than my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, would have resulted in the same payments. I declined the offer as the two Jeeps were not comparable and I would have been overpaying.The dealership directed me to a mechanic who diagnosed the is*** as a need for a new transmission. However, the dealership refused to proceed with the repair, claiming that it be a $7,000.00 repair and would be too costly. In my search for a resolution, my step-father found some transmissions for sale online for $3900.00. I provided this information to the dealership, but they once again denied the repair.This situation has caused me to miss work and puts my employment at risk. When I threatened legal action, the dealership informed me that I had signed an "Arbitration Agreement" and therefore could not *** them. I still do not fully understand the implications of this agreement but I have contacted the Attorney General, filed a complaint and initiated arbitration, in the event the BBB and FTC cannot urge them to either honor the warranty contract agreement, replace the Jeep or refund my money.Business Response

I was in a car accident and reported the accident to MidFlorida Financing immediately. Thet responded asking for pictures of the vehicle. I sent them via email. The vehicle is totalled. Damage exceeds the worth and airbags were deployed. It has been 2 weeks, I have not received any update or claim number at all. I have called left multiple voicemails and emails and no response. I recently purchase a car with Okcarz which financing company is *******************. Because of the *** issue my direct deposit didnt reflect on time and I missed a payment. Once I tried to make it they said it was too late for that. That they needed to submit a review. They ended up denying me and telling me I cant get on with the car. Which I stated ok then Ill get my refund for the deposit. I will still need to pay $315 which I think it was unfair due to not being my fault the whole bank situation. Now they told me that they will charge me for making a key for the car when they advise me to hold on to it until the revision was done. The representative ****** told me to hold it and the review didnt get approved to return the key. Now they said the opposite that they cut a key when they didnt even told me until today the revision was denied. Without telling me or advising me about the review. I am rejecting this response because:Because of something that was completely out of my control. However, I didnt hesitate about the review being denied. I agreed and move on with it but per the representative ****** she stated to remain with the key and not to lose it because otherwise I would get charged for it. She stated that once the review was made if it ends up being denied I needed to return the key. I advise the representative that I will return I have no problem if that was the case. When she called to notify me about the review being denied because of the bank deciding that it was not reasonable my situation. I was advise to return the key which I advise I will as soon as I get out of work. She then stated that there was a key made for the car without even telling me to return until my case was reviewed. I stated that was not right because I was never told to return the key until told otherwise as we were waiting for a review from the bank. I did everything as told by the representative. I explained and send evidence about the bank situation as well as I told them I do have the funds I can still make the payment in full if needed but when it came to my bank account it was out of my control because the direct deposit was something globally not an error on my end. I dont want to be charged for a key I was never told to return until I got a final decision from the bank as if I was going to receive the car or not. I am being charged $315.00 for the repossession and now they want to charge me for a key that got cut right after even knowing if I was getting the car back. I have been calling and leaving voicemail about this situation and I have to wait hours if not until the next day to get a response. Also, I explained about what the representative told me about the key but apparently that call was never made when we did in fact talk about it when she explain the process of account review. I dont want to be charged for a key.

The following day when they told me that the application was denied I told her that I was going to return the key and she immediately stated a key was cut and I was charged when they key was always here. She just told me to hold on to the key until she called me and tell me if I was or wasnt getting the car. So, I am completely being blame for something your representative told me to do. I dont want to be charged for a key when I was told otherwise. I have asked to bring up the conversation but now no one can because I precisely told her if she wanted me to drop the key and she stated to wait until the application was reviewed but she told me that the key was cut even before that. We discuss about the review the bank needed to do and we discussed about the key that same day. She told me to hold on to them and if the bank refused the application then I needed to return the key. The same day I went to the bank and I immediately proceeded to send the email to her. I acquired an car through ********** and their finance company Mid Florida Finance in September 2020. I was set up to pay 270.00 every two weeks. I almost done pay off the loan my last payment is due October 2023. I had some issues within the last year with them on how my payments and insurance have been applied. I've asked mid Florida Finance to provide me proof of my pay off and how each of car payments/ insurance has been applied but they say they can't not. All payments show reported on time to credit but they always all and say no you have to may additional payment because you didn't pay enough and your account bis at risk. So I paid what they said in order to keep my account in good standards. Lately I have experience this more and more with them but they will not provide how my payments or insurance is being applied. This situation has caused me so much stress. I even offered to pay the car off at earlier date but they told me even if I be paid it off early I would need to pay the full amount on the loan. I repeatedly have to speak with a manager who assures me that they have resolved the situation but here I am again dealing with the inaccurate information regarding my car payment and insurance. This company seems to avoid all opportunities to provide me with the information showing how all my payments have been applied. All their calls are recorded but they always say the representative told you incorrect information. I have no late payments reported to my credit but feel I have paid more than what they are saying I owe. Is there any way BBB can help me with resolving this issue. It has caused me so much stress. They always say go to the portal but it doesn't show details. If they are doing this to me just imagine how my other hard working citizens have been taken advantage of. I am rejecting this response because: I'm rejecting this company's response. Again I am requesting all audio from the last 60 days be sent into the better Business bureau to come to a conclusion of my complaint. I've also provided documentation showing where my payments have all been reported current if all my payments have been reported current why did I have to pay an additional 441 that you're saying is not for my payments for June and June 30th. Please pull the calls from Tina and the representative within the last 30 days who inform me that my payments to bring my account current will be a total of 441.34 + $99. On July the 14th yes Tina did what the payment for $600 and sent them back through to be the $99 as well as the 44134 on that phone call she advised to me that the $50 that was an additional taken out was for the insurance that was due on the 14th what since I found a complaint since the 14th I was told my insurance is not current it looks like a portion of my payment went towards that amount. The 99. 84 was to be for insurance as well as the 441.34 to be for the car payment for the month of June. also Tina supervisor is the person that's been responding to this complaint she noted that I have a credit of 198.53. If that was applied to my June payment I should still have a credit that can be applied to my July the 14th payment because that would mean I would have over paid. Why was I never informed that I had a credit on my account or it cannot be applied to my account. Her supervisor also stated that a payment of $198 was applied to my June 30th payment and I still owe $22. Please explain to me because the payment ledger looks like a spreadsheet how could I had a credit when I set this arrangement up and still had to pay for 441 doesn't make any sense. It's inconsistent please provide us with a transcript of the phone calls or recordings so we can come to conclusion of the amount that is due. Another note they're saying I have paid 48 payments of my car loan and I still have 63 can you guys provide proof that I have 15 remaining payments because per the least that I signed my last payment again is due in October and my loan is showing current with each credit bureau thank you please see attached details and we're waiting for those return calls and audio of my calls speaking with supervisors and reps and made Florida Finance who have never gotten my information correct or apply my money correctly thank you

This complaint /review is to address several issues that need the prompt attention of the corporate office, administration and legal department of ** **** and its finance company Mid FLORIDA: *Documented consumer reporting of the negligent inconsistent nonresponse or return call to its customers from this company. (On several occasions, concerns on payment balances and the account going to collections. I called in and left messages, an email that has had no response to a manual account for the company and representatives who transferred to the collection department that never answers just automatically sends you to voicemail) I requested an explanation of the **fluctuating interest charges that display an unrecognized accounting practice for simple financing and principle payments. I was told’” That’s just how the system does it when you make a payment” ***The repossession of my van from an unidentified towing company. Which came on 06/26/23 around 11 pm He was asked to provide the pick-up order and did not have one he was not in uniform, so we recorded the incident. I assume it was for my 29 days past due payments, but when I called the company on 06/27/23 they have no recollection of the pick-up for repossession. The issue of payment and the vehicle is a civil matter, and the tow companies must follow strict rules due to the nature of the service they provide. Technically the vehicle is stolen until it reaches the car company and must have a written order for the pickup on hand at the time of taking the vehicle. So where is my van? Who picked it up? ****charged me 50.00 for an Insurance policy through their company that I don’t have with them and is not beneficial to the policy holder (printed in bold ink on the contract) . instead of my refund for an unauthorized charge they subtracted from my bill and added unexplained charges for the first time. It seems to recoup the error payment.
In fairness the representatives have always been polite and professional and even with the conversation of delinquency and unexplained charges the conversation was totally appreciated. But the problem is the representatives seem to be talking from a routine script. With little to no knowledge to explain my concern.
I hope this brings some awareness to this company of the negative business traits that should be revised. If this company’s targeted market is the working class, uncredited and bad credited consumer then it’s practices should exhibit Integrity and should frequently analyze that the business is not monopolizing on the poor consumer with unreasonable down payments and over whelming payment arrangements with unrecognized financing practices.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:My car was reprocessed on Sunday 6/25/23 my last payment was less than 30 days 6/8/23. I spoke with a financing agent on the 23rd of June about my situation and my resolve to catch up on the payment. She told me i could talk to the collection department when she transferred me,There was no answer, so I followed the instructions and left my info for a return call, which never came. Then the repo happens on Sunday the 25th and my last contact with you prior to the repossession was 6/23/2023. My first contact with your collection department was 06/28 after being told by your agency on the 28th that they had no knowledge of the repo. I spoke with Angi G. who gave me my choices to update and pay balance or just do nothing in 10 days. Angi stated a letter was sent in the mail, but it never came till this day 07/18/23 so asked her to send the copy to my email she sent the letter dated 06/25/23 which your agency was closed. I also asked for my belongings, her instructions on obtaining the vehicle back1), updating the demo form, and making an 801.00 payment on the car. And to pay towing fees but she didn't know who towed my car or has my belongings. I attempted to make the payment online because this was the only way I've ever made payments. My account was closed by your agency. I contacted Angie G. via email after several phone attempts which was the way she sent me the forms to be updated. I received no response for the last 26 days. My pursuit was to rectify this situation asap. Even with the odd financing charges for the past year I've constantly requested assistance to understand your method, this should be documented in your notes. Your finance officers can't explain when your method of accruing charges should be simple financing.
I have constantly contacted your collection dept. by phone and via email no response. That is why i appreciate it so much with you responding to my complaint.
I need my car, i came up with my DELINQUENT charges and was prevented from paying it after i was told i could and Iam now back to full time employment. Iam not asking for pity i just need my transportation to continue to raise my grandchildren, I feel the lack of communication played a part in this and my part of trying to sustain the at the time over whelming 502.00 payment a month plus insurance.
I still need an explanation on my finance charges after all it was my payments to you in accordance with the same contract that allowed you to repose it for being late.
I hope you will allow me to continue with you for the vehical or with Sarasota DODGE I will need to know your expectations. If you decide not to allow me to get the vehical back, please just let me know so that i can be clear on where I stand with the vehical. And so that I can retrieve my belongings.
